This game is slow, repetitive, and boring. the more lewd levels you get, the weaker you get and you can get stuck in fights that take up to ten minutes to lose over the sloggy "you are paralyzed" and cant do shit. Even the lewd scenes take forever and are boring as hell. I would not recommend starting this one or even picking it up. I am finishing it for the hell of it, but I am not liking it one bit. -- Edit: The lewd level getting high enough makes the game completely unplayable. I am not sure what kind of lack of thought went into this system, but 0/10.

This game is 3.5 out of 5 for me. I played thought the whole campaign and these are my impressions. The only lewdable character is nagisa and only if you trigger traps or lose a fight. They have a few other nice looking ladies so why no lewds of them? Also the element that the more you have sex the worst your character does is kind of a disincentive to do lewd things and make a certain enemy that gets four turns near impossible to beat unless you get good rgn. There's no mind break in this where she likes it so it feels wrong even the music in the scene is saying this is wrong.. This game is pure rape. Even so the art is good and some scene are pretty hot. Mostly the one without the sentai knock off. I don't know if upgrading the outfit even did anything since enemies could always rip it easily. They left it open for a sequel in the end so who know if they can make any improvements or if they will just do more of the same. No new game plus or gallery just fight the final boss again. Also don't like the illusion of choice they give you when your character has to chose to ascend to free herself or descend to save the girl you only can descend. The kill la kill outfit doesn't do anything except get ripped. This also has mobpsycho vibe. I recommend at a discount.

TL;DR I was pleasantly surprised that Purinpu worked on the art. If you like his works, or possibly his involvement with Yumekakiya like Star Guardians, you might want this despite the caveats. Super Splendor (or Sailor Splendor before localisation) is a short RPG with H elements, where, as a game, is something of a 3 to 5 hour romp across 20 floors (with a lot of beneficial backtracking) beating six boss characters (over more encounters than one each) in order to escape the underground evil base of Shalldark. The length seems to bother some people, and it can't be ignored. Similarly, as a game, you're motivated by your only friendly companion, Mitsuki, to escape as clean as possible. That is because the H elements of this game play against you, where repeatedly falling into traps without escaping them untouched (with some bosses using these same mechanics) begins to accrue penalties. The sexy here is in sexual torture (more on that in a bit), and your enemies are using your own desires to weaken Nagisa. If you play it as a game, you can avoid most of these, make the game easier for yourself, beat the bosses without penalties, and you'll reach the end really quickly. There is no New Game+, neither are there multiple endings, as far as I know so far, but reaching the end by any means unlocks a test room, where you can replay battles, scenes, and get all the stuff you were trying to avoid. Alternatively, if you played this by deliberately stepping on every trap, and letting every enemy have their way with Nagisa, this can make boss fights harder, which is a disincentive, unless you do it as a challenge mode. I personally liked that the game gives you a goal in terms of the H elements and then gives you the test room to get the rest of it, saving an entire second run to see everything you missed by playing the game seriously. But that can also be a let down for people who want to both progress the game and see all the H scenes at the same time without being penalized. I also would prefer if the test room allowed you to control the H stats alongside the H statuses... especially if for some reason you wanted Nagisa to be a virgin again. But the game is short, and pretty easy, without choosing to take on any penalties. I actually liked parts of the game as a kind of power fantasy for Nagisa, in between traps completely stopping her cold. It would have been nice if we could return the favor and sexually torture the bosses in kind. Some people want to return the favor with Red; I personally wished Blue's CGs involved Blue herself, as well as a revenge thing too for her. If this ever gets a continuation, I'd like more opportunities to explore that... in fact, the sort of plot here reminds me a lot of Sega's Psycho World/Psychic World, with the setup of someone learning to use psychic powers with the use of special equipment, and learning something about the person she wants to save and a secret around their powers. If this does get a sequel, I'm just going to pitch the idea here of an action-platformer kinda like that. So yeah, this game comes with a lot of caveats, like the length and a people wanting more content around the character designs they already had... but I would still recommend it specifically because of the quality of the game art, CGs as well as the in-battle art. When reaching the end credits I found out that Purinpu (pixiv 11246147, @pr_drop Twitter) worked on it! No wonder I liked both the art style but also the themes of sexual torture... since I don't think anyone wants to spoil the game itself, you can go check out Purinpu's works to see if you might like the game based on those sorts of themes. Just a shame I guess that it doesn't involve as much rubber suits for any of the main characters; instead we get stuff like the Cross Gear. Another main visual element to consider is Nagisa's Cross Gear, which I would say is something design-wise more like Symphogear (or maybe Taimanin) than Kill La Kill, as a cross of magical girl and tokusatsu. (I wouldn't say Super Sentai because thematically it's closer to Kamen Rider, especially with the Shalldark/Shocker parallels.) I would still recommend this game, in the end. You might want "more content for what you pay for", hence this is easier to recommend when on sale. But the charm is in what you do get, and I would vouch for the quality of it. If you like this sort of thing is up to personal tastes, so I would recommend it after seeing Purinpu's works, if you wanted a game version of some of those scenarios.

In one word, pretty average game. I had a feeling I'm going from point A to B, using a pretty straight line. Art was good, but it started to repeat pretty quickly. I suppose automatic fighting could be a good idea too. Promise of a sequel is nice, but I hope upgrading outfit would have more meaning for example. I would buy it on sale with some discount. Could be short.
