  Playable on SteamDeck with no known issues. Game is a blast from the past, reminding when I played NBA Jam (1993) with my brothers and cousins on a borrowed Sega Mega Drive (and while writing this I found out you can play NBA Jam online on Arcadespot's website... neato). Simple sports game from the 90's, you can play for a few minutes to take your mind off things, or just dive in for an whole afternoon, I still haven't played with 2 players so that remains to be tested.

  Better than NBA 2k. I remember wasting plenty of cash on this game in arcades, it's awesome to get to play it again!

  Amazing game! I used to play this on the arcade shops & cafes since I was 10 years old. Just a heads up, if you press Esc, go to the settings and set the 1 player control to, for example "Space". That way you will be able to play as only 1 player instead of 2 players. I made the mistake to have both on the same key.

  Now before I start talking about the negatives let me just say the game is fine. The game will always be fine as it was all those years ago. Then what's the problem? the lack of things that I would expect. The game clearly is being emulated on a MAME and the problem is that I know that they could've done better. The game is has only one set level of difficulty. In arcades they can change an arcade games difficult from something easy (Like level 1) to something difficult (Level 6). It's quite easy and it wasn't implemented. If the consumer finds the game too easy or too hard they just have to suck it up and deal with it. I would actually recommend a MAME compared to this on steam as not only does this not have online support but I ( and from what others have stated) have had problem with the game on startup. It's like a 50/50 if it starts or not. For a game that is brought back after 2 decades by Data East I expected more and was hyped, but they were unable to deliver. find any other way to play this game and use this as your last resort.

  Best basketball game ever made. This game is aggressively 90s and I love it. The days of arcade cabinets, Reebok pumps and Nike cross trainers , Michael Jordan , Dorito's and soda with plenty quaters to play this game.
