  I played and completed this in 97. The amount of hours I put in must be hundreds. Never since I found a puzzle game more challenging. This version looks great and works fine. Only thing lacking are achievements IMO.

  If you're here for the nostalgia, you'd do better with a DosBox version. This looks worse, sounds worse and plays worse than the original...

  When I was 5 years old (2003) my mom and dad divorced. Me, my brother and my mom lived together for a few years before my stephdad was with us. My mom was very sad after the divorce and she lacked the ability to be happy and optimistic. This had a huge effect on my bond with my mom. But when she was working from home, when she had a break, I always went up to her home office and she took me on her lap to play this game. She was super good at it. These were the moments I felt connected with my mom. She smoked in that room, so I remember the white thick keyboard being all black and brown and stinky, but that did not bother me. This game helped my mom spend some time with me and seeing her interact with me and learning me the game at my pace, made me so happy. Thanks for providing these great memories. She is doing better now.

  I'm so glad to see Supaplex on Steam, it's an epic game <(^_^)>. Supa might have been one of the first PC games I played back in the 90's on the Windows 95' we had. Brings back some good memories <3. Same levels, more new features, achievements and remix of the kickass music. Will be fun to try and beat the game this time.

  Supaplex good old memories last time I played this must have been 17 years ago This is a remake of the old dos game and im glad it came to steam So far the levels are an exact copy and I wonder if there will be new levels or maybe even a map editor but first I'll try to beat the 111 lvls again So what is Supaplex? Its simular to Boulderdash but with some tweaks this time its not just some enemies and boulders while you collect gems. In suplaplex you play as Murphy and your moving trew a maze of printboards chased by scissor(snik snaks) still having to dodge zonks (rocks) while collecting Infotrons What makes Supaplex different are the (floppy)disks, ports and bugs The ports limit the movement of Murphy, bugs that instant kills you with electrostatic charges Terminals that set off all the yellow floppydisks the orange floppy disks act like zonks they just cant roll and last but not least red floppy disks that you can carry and place somewhere to blow a hole at a convenient spot Not to mention some nice levels that have high gravity that causes Murphy cant go up anymore All in all a nice puzzle game where speed and logic thinking are needed at times a fun game for everyone Edit: I've now finnished the game solid 23hrs of fun times :) but yeah its the exact same game hopefully more levels and even a map editor would be very nice

  Well I never knew that this game had been released until recently. I was a big fan of the original Supaplex back in the day. :) So I was really pleased to see this. But having played a couple of levels it's sadly a very disappointing conversion overall. The graphics are pretty nice, but that's about where it ends with the positives. The worst part is how it controls. It soo sluggish, even on the highest speed. And also it's hard to smoothly go from horizontal to vertical movement, it almost always causes a short hitch. The music is some form of reworked version of the original, but it's way worse. And then some smaller anooyances: There's no animation for "sucking up" objects. You can't self destruct. The menu is ugly and generic instead of the very cool one in the original version. So all in all, I'm going to refund this right now (even though I bought it on sale for €2,50, this is out of principle). I can't believe all the positive reviews. Maybe if you never played the original it seems ok. But really, it's way worse...!

  Good old classic wonderfully remade, this game was one of the hardest games ever made, if you finish it the game developer actually claimed your some kind of a genius. I never finished it.. :(
