  VERY glitchy immediately on startup. and co op is a LIE. this game is LAN co op. i refunded for that reason alone.

  Don't think this is really ready for release yet, performance was terrible on a decent rig. 5900x, 32gb ram, 3080ti @1440p, game was unplayable with stuttering and frame pauses that i kept dying over and over to an unresponsive hand to hand combat system. Graphics did look nice, but most building can't enter or explore. Too many faults with the game, with poor animations make the game feel unresponsive. Plus it's advertised as a mmorpg, with no server or multiplayer options apart from LAN connectivity. The game however does have some promise, but really can't recommend this for £25.00 as it is. I've refunded this, due to it being in my eyes another release that really could of done with more polish and being a solid base game before release.

  I fucking hate this game already and the developers too. I've been a zombie horror survival game player for as long as the genre has existed. and this is up there on worst games. Steam has to stop letting developers release games and hide behind the cloak of Early access. its' not early access it's a cash grab the mentality behind the game creation is bad. the DayZ "don't let them know how to do anything so they drive themselves crazy trying to figure it out" is great for the ten people who stuck with DayZ. not so great for the company that made H1Z1 or half the other garbage games like this out there. the base crafting is trash, I've been playing for hours and still cannot save the game, so if I ever come back to it I start over. it's mechanics have a lot of potential it's graphics still aren't as good as DayZ in my opinion. all you had to do was make saving easier, correct your spelling, and add a brief controls tutorial. that's it. and it would be worth HALF of what you are charging for it. if you want to be miserable trying to figure out a zombie game there's better shit out there like DayZ (after a decade in early access) and Invisible strain (if you enjoy NPC AI interactions but overly complex early game. 7days to die is still one of the best since h1z1 is gone. this.. this game is trash. DEVELOPER: you should provide a physical copy of the game to anyone who buys it, so they can burn this piece of shit to get ANY enjoyment out of it.

  ok so as of 7/1/2023 and yes i know its early access. just pointing out some fixers here. gun mechanics suck, got stuck under the map. no clue where to start or get missions. was walking around killing zombies which by the way also kinda suck right now. they look dumb, the movement and animations are dumb. all male female and giant zombies all make the same noise. the aggro distance is nuts, anyway it suddenly teleports me to a red car. got in drove it around a bit to test it out. hitting zombies just stops the car instantly and it got stuck or glitched or something into the road and now wont move. still no clue where to go or what to do for missions. i dont mind the melee, im no pro but maybe someone else could give some ideas on how to make it better. movement just feels REALLY heavy, the sniper when walking covers almost the entire view in front of you. i would fix that so it points down at the ground while walking. graphics are ok for a starter but everything REALLY just shows that you just wanted to get the game running and push it out the door. ran across an enemy npc that shoots at you, killed him and couldnt loot the gun he had. movement animations idek how to describe them. it just feels wrong. maybe someone else could explain that better as well. Also with the guns they do no damage at range. like none. ive tried so many times making sure im hitting on target by watching the bullet trail go straight through the zombies. please please fix that. also the zoom for sights and scopes is off. like i feel like i can see farther without aiming than i can while aiming. now to the main menu and controls they suck too honestly. tried to set inventory as tab and change camera view to I (swap them) and cant do itt. reset tab button doesnt work in the controls portion of the settings, character and weapon options/variety is slim to none. you get one of each gun and thats it. ammo is a bit too easy to find.makes it boring very ffast considering you had to be almost point blank for ANY of the guns to do any damage. getting to the crafting menu is a bit odd and time consuming especially since theres no guide on how to do all that. as far as looting there needs to be a way to loot quickly and efficiently like shift and click the item and have all of that item go to your inventory. speaking of items theres a bug that duplicates items in your inventory when moving things around. also maybe in the future make a way to rotate items in the inventory and add more bags and stuff. like just stuff in general. make it so we can interact with everything in the environment would be nice so we can check out some cars to find loot and stuff like that. gives it a real survival feel to it. also zombies are 1 shot to the head. if you cant do that at least fix the damage/zombie health ratio so its more doable. i say this because i used 120 9mm rounds with a pistol and got mostly headshots and only killed 2 zombies with it. went back to melee because of that. guns seem more or less useless with the current state of things. if i think of anything else ill add it on here but again i understand its a new game its early access. just giving an honest assessment on the current state of the game so that you as a potential customer know what to expect and you as the developers know and hopefully understand these points so you have something to work towards in making the game better. Game has potential so im hoping to see bug fixes and improvements in the future. side note. ive seen SOOOO many games with HUGE potential fall apart because nobody cared enough to redo graphics or add anything or fix a bug or make any attempt to keep the game interesting. Infestation new Z is a good example of that. needs a new graphics engine and some updates and bug fixes and it would be an awesome game. Anyway again look forward to seeing where this game goes. its no gem right now but some thought planning and work could really make this game enjoyable for lots of people and ill update my review as things change and move along :)

  This game is good to a point long-term it could be worth getting but in its state as is just needs too much work to be a playable game as is but in time it could be one heck of a zombie game. I Recommended this game because of the unlimited potential of it but make no mistake it needs work and isn't ready for even a short term fun yet!

  Game is not currently "online", requesting refund. Settings menu was a nightmare adjusting, very glitchy... didn't even play the game, wanted the MMO that was "promised"
