First of all a tip, finish the base story and then start with the dlcs so that it will be easier and quieter and does not complicate the progression or it will become overwhelming I've been playing this DLC and if you think it's more of the same you are wrong, add new stories and expand others, and new mechanics The new soundtrack is beautiful, it matches the atmosphere. It has a new ability that automatically regenerates energy which is appreciated. You can customize your house and add improvements so you don't have to go to other places to do certain things, such as the improved kitchen will be in your house. The others will be a surprise As always you will get funny and meaningful surprises in the story with the classic humor of Graveyard Keeper DO NOT HESITATE AND BUY THIS DLC Graveyard keeper is a beautiful game full of history, mechanics, things to do, and an engaging soundtrack. it is a must have in a gamer's life. Thanks to the creators.

I've got to say, I've loved all other content for this game. The base game is especially amazing. The other DLC have added interesting lore, new mechanics etc. This one is very light on content. I'd say it added about 3 hours at most, and a good chunk of that was just waiting for the days of the week to pass. The new currency doesn't amount to another other than allowing you to buy a few extra technology slots which don't do anything other than gatekeep this DLC's progression. I would recommend any other part of this game in a heartbeat, but maybe wait until this is < $5. The biggest new function is allowing you to max out your bodies without relying on RNG, but that wasn't something I was personally interested in.

It's not that I don't like this DLC, but I can't just give it a thumbs up in good conscience. I absolutely loved the base game, and I liked the additions of both Stranger Sins and Game of Crone (More the former than the latter, though), but this one just doesn't do it for me. The first and most glaring problem: It's very short. Even though it has some degree of padding like Game of Crone did, it took me about 3-4 hours from start to finish, and that's counting the waiting time for a specific day to arrive. Second, it doesn't seem to add much to the game: It kind of explains away the idea that several people of the Village embody certain sins...but the base game already did that and in a much better way. It kind of adds some additional lore...but it's not particularly anything Stranger Sins hadn't already done (also better). It kind of adds some quality of life improvements in the sense that it allows a bit of automation/hands-off stuff...but most of it had already been taken care of by Breaking Dead. What it does add is basically add a way to extract a new component from the corpses you receive (Souls) and besides the relevance for the plot contained in the DLC, it doesn't have that much gameplay utility. They are a way to get the actual resources (Sin shards and Soul's gratitude), that makes getting faith, crafting books/notes and fertilizer a bit more easy, as well as modifying the corpse components to add either white or red skulls. Besides the faith part (And only at the early game), none of the others ever were such pressing needs that I had to use them (But I was already in the late game when I played it, so YMMV). To summarize, a very short DLC that costs the same as the other 2 but doesn't stack up to them in terms of content in my opinion. For devoted fans only.

Too short and no conclusion to the story. Also, the new workshop is totally useless once the story is complete.

If u loved the base game you should get this dlc. You get to see some nice new locations and get the lore unlocked. But I must say this was the worst dlc from all of them. If u already completed the base game and all the expansions you'll be completing this dlc sadly in under 4 hours, so i wouldn't have paid 7 Eur. And definitly... we want to finally see the city!!! The ending is also very sudden and doesn't match the amazing ones from the other dlcs Overall i would recommend to buy first the base game, completing it and if u loved it, buying the dlc one at a time. (This one being the last of them). I hope the next dlc will be much much better.

Would I recommend this game? Well... the short answer is yes. Yet, the whole case is quite more complicated than that. For the price of 7,99€ the content of this DLC is a bit... insufficient, to say the least. And the promised gameplay of 6-12 hours is definitively nowhere to be found. But despite these two problems, I still think that buying this DLC is quite worth it... why? Well yeah, I've completed this DLC quite fast (in 3 hours and you'll be probably able to complete it in under 2 hours)... But I've played it at the absolute end of the game, where everything is unlocked... so that boosted my progress quite significantly. And even if it was short, I've still had a lot of fun playing it. <*> The new characters are well written and it's fun to interact with them. <*> The new gameplay mechanics are interesting, to say the least. They're fun to learn and they still "extend" the gameplay of a whole new element. So... is this DLC worth it? Yes. But If I may recommend you something... try playing this DLC as a part of a new game. you'll enjoy it this way a bit more.

A tentative yes - with a caveat. The pros: - The graveyard keeper now has to prepare not just bodies - but also souls for the afterlife. In itself this is not a gamechanger - but it does feel good if you're the kind of player who just enjoys helping NPCs - Being able to work with souls unlocks remote control of zombie workbenches. This will probably be useful for players who are only starting their graveyard keeping careers - but for me the production process is already pretty much streamlined and any interaction with zombies I have is done in areas I have to visit for activities that require me to do them manually anyway. - You get the option to customize the look of your house, with new alchemy recipes for paint. Not a gamechanger either, but a nice little bonus. - It is definitely less offensive than Game of Crone in terms of how it artificially extends your playtime by having the NPC you need to interact with simply blowing you off and saying "I'll talk to you tomorrow" rather than saying that you need to make refugees in the refugee camp happy before you can build camp improvements that will make them happy - Some cute pop culture references The con: - The story feels unfinished. And not just in the way Game of Crone hinted at there being more lore - Better Save Soul has a key NPC do something, disappear, and then simply.... ends? Throughout the game you collect pieces of a stained glass window depicting the seven deadly sins through events in the lives of familiar NPCs - and that doesn't go anywhere either. Maybe I'm just an idiot who missed a trigger for continuing the story - but even if that's the case, such triggers should not be this easy to miss Being in Russia, this DLC cost about as much as a cup of coffee for me, so I don't regret spending money on it. However, the story ending so abruptly did give me metaphorical blue balls and I do feel a bit annoyed that it left me hanging like that. All in all, this DLC is decent, adds some new interesting mechanics and is definitely an improvement after Game of Crone - but be aware that the ending will leave you saying "Wait, that's it?"

The DLC is a little of a mixed bag for me, but overall I do recommend buying the DLC. The DLC is more of an early game DLC and will not drag out until the endgame. A problem the other DLC's has. If you go into this DLC with an endgame save, you will be very disappointed. + Give a remote work mechanic that can be installed almost everywhere. Now you no longer have to go back home or to the tavern in Stranger Sins just to start another cooking timer. + Give access to create better corpses and zombies so you no longer have to wait for RNG Jesus to give you the organs you need. It allows you to break the 16 white skull cap and replace it with a 26 maximum cap by simply allowing you to add white and red skulls yourself. It also makes it easier to just make 16 skull copies if you want. + Give the early game a boost in faith generation and access to fertilizers faster and quicker than before. So it removes some of the early game speed bumps that limits how fast you can progress and therefore remove some grind. + You are not required to basically finish the game as a whole for the DLC reach its end. Any new mechanic can be used during the game and not in the post-endgame. - It feels somewhat short. Even in a fresh game I was surprised how fast everything went along. - The story didn't really engage me much. I didn't really feel like I was given any reasons to care about the new characters involved. - You are not really being told anything new about the world, but as an early game DLC I can see the reasons to keep it somewhat tight lipped.

For the main game: Highly recommended! For the Better Save Soul DLC: Do not buy. Do not waste your money. New Lore? Practically non-existent. What little there is doesn't even seem to relate to the breadcrumbs left by the GoC DLC, It doesn't provide hardly any gameplay content. You know when you complete the DLC content because the two NPCs related to it just disappear. What it does provide: Minor cosmetic changes to your house. The ability to build 2 new shelves in the house is nice, I guess. The other cosmetic changes are... meh at best. Would have been cool if it was more than a few wallpapers and an "alternate" skin for your wardrobe. It also provides: Even more time spent preparing corpses for burial, because corpse prep wasn't already time-consuming enough, I guess? You can make better corpses for burial now, which is nice, but to optimize one corpse will cost several (upwards of 10) more corpses of material and several in-game days of effort. The "remote control" part of the DLC had potential, but frankly I found it pretty useless. In my experience, Almost anything that you need to do at various workstations is usually because I either have the materials in my bags (not at at the workstation) or I need the material that it just produced. Kinda defeats the purpose of doing it remotely. I've played two games with this DLC at this point, and only used the remote feature three times, while I was learning how it worked. Then never bothered to do it again. Easier to just use the teleport stone, do the work needed, then teleport away - the cooldown on the teleport stone is short. One thing I was excited about, and then disappointed in: The stained glass window. It's a massive visual feature in your church, yet doesn't increase your church's quality, even when you've completed it? That's stupid. Make it harder to install, then reward us with church quality, perhaps a small amount when first installed, then a larger amount once it's completed. One thing I didn't expect, but was pleased about: There is a mission where you go around fixing broken stuff in town. That was nice. Made me feel like I was part of the village for a few minutes. Could have been a nice thing to flesh out - improvements around town giving additional benefits of some sort. But alas, you put things back as they were, and that's all there is to it. And that's literally all there is to this DLC. There's nothing else. Not only do you only get a fraction of the gameplay the other DLC's provided, and practically no lore at all. This DLC gives 10-20% of what the other DLC's did, and should be priced accordingly. If this were a $1.99 DLC, it would be worthwhile. As it stands, get the other two DLC and ignore this one.

A DLC with barely any content giving you the ability to make extremely overpowered corpses at the cost of spending an hour grinding out upgrade points. Pass this one if you aren't buying a bundle. you can use sin shards to modify organs and soft-spares by adding red or white skulls. problem? it takes 11 sin shards each to fully max out blood and fat, then you need 7 sin shards each for flesh and skin. that is 35 shards just for soft-spares. if you have a need to modify organs, that will drive up the cost even more. worst part is that you get only between 3-7 shards (+1 if you let the sin-less soul rot away) per corpse. you get one corpse around every 9 minutes. have fun if you want a full graveyard of maxed out white-skull corpses. Oh, I guess there is the part where you can send sin-free souls to the afterlife, somehow it's one of the main "plot" points of the DLC but also an afterthought, not even worth describing what this does.
