  Pros - DLC almost like a whole new game - minimal bugs - Runs on old computers - Days of fun - Badass pirate hat - Large variety of new food - Lots of explore - New pet, Packim Baggims (Pelican looking creature to help you hold all the things) Tough Lessons - Harsh learning curve (Lots of deaths) - Posion can be a killer if not prepared - Monkeys will steal your stuff - Hitting Monkeys (Usually because they stole your things) will result in sanity drain - Make chests or all your stuff with blow away - Make lightning rods or prepare for your chests to be burnt to a crisp - Lightning likes backpacks sitting on the ground Rare things - Some items are hard to obtain for now - Gears - Maniure (only if beafalo aren't found) - Gold - Gems Conclusion - Amazing DLC, lots of new challengers to overcome, things to be explored and fun to be made. - After a bit of tweaking this DLC will be an easy 10/10 but for now 9/10

  Outright amazing. New biomes, new creatures, new characters, new crafting recipes...basically a whole new game disguised as a tiny DLC! Do yourself a favour and buy it. You won't regret it.

  This is actually a DLC that is completely worth the money and honestly I believe should've cost more than $5. It's still the general mechanics that we all love about DS, but with new biomes and craftable items. Pros: - New Craftable items - New Foods - You can have a Coconut CANNON on your BOAT! - Poison Weapons - New Seasons to learn to survive - SHARKS! - Did I mention an awesome Machete? (Obsidian machete is soooo pretty) - Treasure! & when I say treasure I mean good stuff. gems. dubloons. volcano staff. dark sword. etc. - It's cheap & you wont find another DLC that should have been a stand alone game for that price! - WAAAAAY too many other things to count. Cons: - Get ready to sail a lot mateys (It's def a Pirates Life!) - Monkeys are ridiculous.... and steal your findings. BEWARE! - Snakes like to randomly scare you half to death (lol) - SAVE as much GOLD as possible! All in all this DLC has been amazing thus far and I'll be addicted to it for quite some time! I'm excited about the updates they'll be adding later as well with the new characters and bosses. This game is Don't Starve Paradise in my eyes and I'm glad to be apart of the Early Access for it.

  [h1] A couple of things to clarify to people before they buy the DLC. (Bought as of 4 December, 2015) [/h1] [u] [b] PLEASE LET EVERYONE SEE THIS IF THEY HAVEN'T! THIS IS IMPORTANT! [/b] [/u] EDIT: (I don't know about you guys, but I don't think I encountered any bugs or glitches of that sort. No crashes and no major fps drops. This is coming from a guy who is using a 6 year old laptop). Just wanted to point this out, but DON'T TRUST ON THIS! [list] [*]The game IS NOW AVAILABLE ON MAC. [*]The DLC is not in your game library, to play it, you must open the Don't Starve game and you will be able to select it to play. You can see that your DLC is installed and the date it was installed. [*]You only need Don't Starve to play. RoG is unecessary and DST is a separated game. [*]Some of my mods from Don't Starve do work with this DLC, but I turned them off in case anything happens. [*]If you want to fix the crashing in Shipwrecked, Reddit found out a [url=https://www.reddit.com/r/dontstarve/comments/3v0y4v/shipwrecked_is_now_on_steam/cxjcwqq] way [/url] [/list] [b] Now onto the DLC. [/b]This expansion completely mixes up the old gameplay and pacing by introducing lots of new mechanics. New mechanics such as using using rafts/boats to sail the seas, different and unique weather patterns such as monsoons, and different types of enemies and items that aren't just reskins. This DLC is definitely targeted at experienced players though, so beware before buying if you don't feel comfortable. I recommend this game to any fans of Don't Starve and their expansions. It is very cheap at $5, I felt like it should have been worth more for all the effort the Devs put into this. Remember....SAVE YOUR GOLD! [b] This game is not for the faint of heart/weak [/b] , you really need to use the boats/rafts to explore islands and get the resources from each one of them.   Screamed when a snake fell on me when I cut down a jungle tree. Got angry when a bunch of annoying monkeys followed me and stole every gold piece from the rocks I mined. Laughed at the hounds when they tried to attack me but I jumped on my boat, leaving them stranded on the small island on which they attacked me. Cried when a bunch of walking palm trees bombarded me with coconut bombs. Greatest DLC so far.

  I think most players of Don't Starve will find this a refreshing change from the base game. I did, anyhow. [b]Pros: [/b] - Island-hopping: Due to the changes in world generation, you can scan small areas at a time for materials, instead of feeling like you're exploring an endless, connected area. No more exploring each biome clockwise or counter-clockwise!!! (Well, unless you're blessed with a very large island...most come in small or medium size.) - Multitasking: You can farm trees for food, not just wood. Can't remember if eggs were in the base game, but now you can get stuff like bananas and coconuts. Snakes can appear too, though. Speaking of farming, Water Beefalo biomes allow you to easily collect manure without them raging at you during heat. In fact, if you can get Swordfish to spawn there, the Beefalo will do all the dirty work and let you get materials for a cutlass without damaging any of your boats. However, if Beefalo spawn on land, they will attack you during heat. -Lots of gold?!? There seems to be a lot of gold especially in volcanic and jungle biomes. Very helpful when stocking up your base with machines and cutlasses. - New characters, content, and recipes: Self-explanatory! New solutions for old problems, especially with regard to sanity. Two words...sand castles. Also, new dynamic music changes with the seasons. Helps keep boredom at bay. [b]Cons: [/b] - Getting marooned: For the same reason this expansion is great, it's also created a new problem. Once you've picked an area clean of resources, you can end up landlocked - with no materials to craft something seaworthy. You will usually find this out when getting revived at a Touchstone. LOL - Monkeys: I hate everything about them. They exist mainly to troll the player. At least I can laugh when they get into fights with spiders and snakes. If you can wall them off and connect them with a spider den or snake-invested bush, you might just be able to farm items. Otherwise, grab the gold from rocks near monkeys FIRST, or they will run off with it :( -Monsoon season: If you thought preparing for Winter was a pain, this is worse. It's bad enough running around, getting stuff for sandbags just to deal with normal tide changes, but having entire islands get flooded and mosquitoes breed...that combination of being wet all the time and poisoned frequently will drain your sanity VERY quickly. [b]Overall[/b], it's definitely worth getting this DLC, especially if you've done the base game and gotten bored of it. Just keep in mind, pretty much every new addition is a blessing AND a curse.
