  UPDATED REVIEW: As promised, I'm updating my review to positive now because the game now works properly on Index and the store page has been properly reflected to show that. Not to a fault of the game necessarily, but the only thing I noticed really is that the Steam VR re-centering seems to not reflect properly if you do it while the game is running. If you're not going to be standing in the direct center of your play space, make sure you center yourself before you launch the game and it'll be OK. An in-game recenter would be nice to have though. Thank you to the devs for listening and fixing this so quickly. Hoping we get some post-launch support down the line as well like WHAT THE GOLF did since the current offering is pretty short, but fun. OLD REVIEW: The game is fun, but giving a negative review for now because ONLY OCULUS is supported. I know it says Oculus on the store page, but I thought it had to have been a mistake since the game is sold on Steam. That means it would be compatible with Steam VR, therefore all VR headsets, right? Wrong. The game will launch, but not display or register any type of control on Valve Index. I can hear the game audio and see it frozen on the desktop screen, but nothing in the headset. However, as soon as I linked up my Quest 2, everything worked as expected. Steam VR overlay was not working, however, so I can't access any of that or see the achievements I'm getting, ect. Pretty typical for Oculus only games though. Still, I cannot believe they're selling this on Steam when only Oculus is supported. It's not even available on the Oculus app itself on PC, just Steam and the Meta Quest store. One other minor complaint aside from that is that I have not found a way to quit a level while in the middle of it. But still, they're short, not a big deal. I'll update my review to positive once proper support for other Steam compatible headsets are added. But in the meantime, DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN OCULUS/META HEADSET, IT WILL NOT WORK

  Game works fine on Index, it uses OpenXR so you have to set SteamVR to be the default OpenXR driver, no problems otherwise. You may have some issues if you use Vive wands with an Index headset I've read, but I'd expect this to be fixed pretty quickly. Now for my actual review (played on my Valve Index): Fun little game! There's a bit of janky physics collisions happening here and there and some of the levels feel like they were rushed out trying to hit a level quota to make it worth the asking price using quantity instead of quality, but the game keeps throwing novel ways to use bats at you to keep it somewhat interesting right when you get bored of a particular interaction in my opinion. Some small polish things could be improved, like I'm not sure why my head sphere collider is massive and centered on my eyes instead of offset a bit to represent my head, interferes with the bats more than I'd like. <= this was fixed in a day1 patch haha! All in all it's a decent little game to introduce people into VR with, or entertain kids with. VR veterans might get a bit of fun out of it too but it is mostly novelty as opposed to long-term enjoyable. Usually I'd say wait for a sale with this level of sort of half-baked physics interactions but the amount of levels and variance in them can make it worth the asking price for some.

  If you loved What The Golf, you'll love this as well! Around the same length with the same charming artstyle and another interesting storyline. Starts off with a bang and doesn't stop until the end. It's fun putting yourself in the shoes of someone with bats for hands, makes you really appreciate having functioning hands. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lil adventure Played it on my Oculus Quest 2 through the Virtual Desktop on SteamVR and worked perfectly. Only had one bug where pressing on the map didn't work but after restarting the game, it was fine.

  Haven't finished it yet, but so far it's really funny and enjoyable. I really liked what the golf, so if you're also a fan of what the golf then you should definitely try this. I play on Quest 2 with a link cable, so I didn't have an issue with no other headsets, but I'm really glad they added support for other SteamVR headsets nonetheless. This game is awesome and the elephant is my new bestie 10/10 would bat again

  Experienced on the Meta Quest 2

I would say do NOT buy this game until the bug is fixed. I think the bug is effecting all Steam VR users, I don't know if this bug effects the Quest stand-alone version. Basically, on the Harvest level, the wheat is missing on the field that you're supposed to be able to cut it down to complete the level. It's a game-breaking bug that stops your progress. The game-breaking bug is very unfortunate, because I was having fun with this game. You basically have bat for arms and you complete several tasks with your bat hands, usually to a comedic effect. The mini-games are very silly, quick, & fun even for a hardened VR veteran who has done more than his fair share of mini-game collections. I will say that I do think this game is over-priced for the amount of content it has. It took me less than 2 hours to get half-way to Chapter 8 with the game-breaking bug. There's 10 total chapters, so that's more than 7/10 of the way there so I would estimate there's 3 hours of content tops. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting steady 90 fps. There are no graphical settings. You can choose being left-handed or reset your height. You do have snap turning available, but otherwise, you have to move within your room-scale. You only need a small room-scale space though to reach some objects. Overall, this is fun, silly content for the whole family. Like I said, I have played tons of mini-game collections, yet I was still having fun with this one. It's well-done, even if the VR interactions and mini-games are mostly very simple. They just have an odd-ball, silly aspect to them that is wholesome. If it weren't for the game-breaking bug, I would have rated this game a 7/10. Rate 5/10. Wait until the game is fixed before buying on Steam.   I'd really like to play and enjoy the game, however, there seems to be an issue of starting the game with my Quest 2 connected. Every time I try to play it the game doesn't get past the loading screen to play in VR. The weird thing is that it will pop up on my desktop but not in VR for my headset. Hopefully this can be fixed

  Its a good game, but definitely a step back from what the golf in both variety of ideas and control. Also, as some others have already noted as a non oculus user I cant get past the level harvest. Even once that is fixed would recommend this game if you are a fan of the first game for maybe $10, but $25 is a big ask for this

  i bought two copies, one for me, and one for my friend. we ended up getting stuck on harvest, since there was no clear indication on what to do. in addition, the music can be a little atrocious, and a little annoying at times. the game also felt repetitive at times. of course, we only got so far, due to.. you know... but, do know that i loved what the golf, and it's a bit sad to see buttons and levers being used more than the actual sport part of the game.
