  Most of these comments apply to Night of the Wendigo, since I didn't think it fair to comment on the other mission, which is still half(?)-finished. Obviously the game will continue to change and improve, so hopefully one day, none of these criticisms will be applicable. Pros: -Visually impressive - the graphics are good, the environment is pretty, and the creature looks appropriately frightening (though the design/style of the creatures aren't particularly original) -The environmental audio is rich and makes the world feel more alive Cons: -The mission/story doesn't change in any way, so there isn't much reason to play it again once you have completed it. -The creature AI is basic, which reduces the perceived threat of the monster -The mission is short and can be completed in less than an hour, especially with a friend or two - ***The only way to defeat the monster (I believe) is to complete the story elements, which heavily undermines the tension of the creature. There's no real point interacting with the creature, besides wounding it to scare it away, until you've completed that*** -The story has little depth and feels rather disjointed. For example, a circus appears in the woods at one point in the night, but there is no reason or explanation beyond "it's creepy." The actual cultural ties to the Wendigo myth are very muddled/incorrect. -The inventory system is not very intuitive and needs better keybindings -Many game elements are easy to ignore or aren't very useful: the wolves are easy to notice and avoid, the meat and traps are unnecessary, and the cameras are almost more useful as points of illumination than they are as surveillance.

  No replayability, 1-2 hours of gameplay tops, worthless AI, good graphics For about 15 minutes my friends and I felt like total badasses hunting a wendigo that looked/sounded scary. The erie setting was right, as was the hunting gear and the lodge we started in. After that, the realization that the AI was useless made encounters with the creature a total joke, and the story felt so tacky we didn't feel like following along. The novelty of the graphics and sound wore off, and we were left with what felt like an unfinished school project. This game would make sense if it were $1, maybe $2.50. For $12, you may as well buy a movie ticket to see a B-rated horror movie at your local theatre. If anything, put it in on your wishlist and wait for a sale.

  Great Game for such a small team of developers! They continue to update through hard work and determination! As a gamer it means a lot to me to see people putting their hearts into a project like this and I will continue to play with friends!

  Friends and I played both levels and we had a blast!! There was a few times where we, (quite literally for one of us XD) jumped out of our seats from fear! Definitely recommend for players! Was very entertaining

  As someone who personally really loves the Wendigo, I am so happy there is finally a open survival game based around it. The game looks amazing and runs very well even on my 4 year old computer. There are some issues I noticed while playing like the weird hit boxes on deer, stone doesn't make any nose when you are running on it and the reload animation plays the complete thing whenever you reload, even if its just one round. None of these things bring the game down however, it only released a month ago and has a ton of potential. I hope the creators of this game keep with it and don't just drop the project all together like most open survival horror games on steam (bigfoot, the rake, goatman). But it is a really good game, for only being out a short amount of time, its better than a majority of other games in the same genre as it. I really hope this game grows and grows as time goes on :) Some very personal things I don't like is the layout of the map, it can feel kinda cramped sometimes, the in game text for when you hover over things. I am 100% sure that those things will be possibly changed in the future though.

  Pretty fun game, great to play at night when you have nothing better to do. This is a early access game so don't expect it to be 100% bug free.

  hey this game is REALLY GOOD like its really god damn good, Its like "bigfoot" but with lore and a whole lot scarier like it's less scary with others but when i first played this i screamed. its fun to play with friends, but it needs some work with the wendigo because it gets confused sometimes. but overall i'd say give it a shot because its really good.
