  This is one of the situations where I wish steam had a number system instead of a yes or no. This game is fine. It's also five bucks, so who cares really. That said, I wouldn't really recommend it. Compared to other games in this genre, it's very basic and shallow. As of my 1 hour playtime, I've beaten the game twice and earned 20/26 achievements. There's very little thought that goes into a run, either. All of the power ups are about as good as each other, and my money was always maxed out at 4. So there was basically no decisions to make. Characters feel samey, too, though I only have three of the six. If this was a free flash game, I'd say give it a go, but I don't recommend buying it. I can't see myself playing more than another hour, maybe two if the remaining characters are very cool. My gold standard for roguelites is nuclear throne, by the way, in case you thought I just wanted more metaprogression.

  For the same price you can get Vampire Survivor which surely has more content, but transforms you into an addict and lacks charm.

  Saw a fellow streamer playing this when it was released. Genuinely a fun game to play with tons of different perks and unique ways to play the game! A must buy game for sure!

  I first found the early demo on NG, thought it was fun, and then bam! i get a notification for this game releasing, and wow, it's still fun like my first play!

  I'd recommend this game under the cavet that its a good beginners rougelite as runs are only like 10 minutes and its very easy to get your first clear. Beyond that I see a few cool ideas with nothing done to make them stand out and a lack of content. In 2.5 hours I collected all achievements which is fair for the price but I'd rather have payed 10-15$ for a more meaty and memorable experience which utilized the infinite scroll gimmick better. As it stand enemies and enemy bullets can't use the scroll so its just a quick way to dodge and your own bullets only wrap with an upgrade. Trouble Juice is the video game equivalent of a bag of snack food cheap and enjoyable while it last but it wont last with you long and will quickly be disposed as just another random 100% chevo game on steam.

  I had fun with this game. It's not particularly complex or challenging: I got everything cleared (100% achievements + wins with all characters and alt costumes) in about 4 hours and there's not much to do beyond that. In that sense, it's much more of a kind of Flash-style short action game than a proper roguelike, even though it has all the elements (randomness, permadeath, light metaprogression). A few other nitpicks I felt I should point out: <*>I haven't bothered to research this, but it seems that the upgrades and curses don't seem to be weighted. That means that you could spend an entire game getting all of the worst curses (the enemy health curse is the easily the worst) and worst upgrades (aka no increased bullet damage) or it could be completely the opposite or you could have a balanced run. The only thing that affects this is if you keep killing the juice guy, in which case he has a chance to give you worse upgrades in that run. <*>I had a lockup at the end of a game that completely confuzzled Windows enough that I had to do a soft restart. The game remembered all of my progress, so I'm not too annoyed by this. <*>There's a brief time freeze when bosses change phases after they've taken enough damage. This is a very useful indicator that their patterns are about to change, but the issue is that the game ignores your inputs during this freeze as opposed to buffering them, which has caused me to take some frustrating damage on occasion. All in all, I recommend that you get this game on discount if you can.

  Was given pee juice and poison juice, killed Juice guy 30 times, gave my kids juice now they think they Shlomo or Surtun. Audio? Juice Music? Juice Gameplay? Juice Juice? Its juice
