  I wanted to love this game. Two of my favourite things, wrestling and card games, combined. And to be fair, there's pieces of a simple but potentially solid game here. But there seems so far to be no strategy to the gameplay, with no variety really in the card effects beyond the amount of damage they do. The cost vs damage curve of cards makes no sense, with spamming low cost cards being the best and really only approach. It doesn't feel like a wrestling game, despite the nauseating but terrible looking graphics between moves, and it doesn't feel like a good card game. Admittedly, the game is in early access (though apparently has been for a few months), so some of this stuff may be fixed over time, but there doesn't feel like there's enough there for me to trust that it'll get to something either feeling like a wrestling game, or with enough strategy and depth for a decent card game.

  This game is so much fun!!! NO MICROTRANSACTIONS!!!! Must buy if you like card games. EDIT: After playing a ton I can still say this game is a ton of fun. The developer has been making lots of updates and fixes, and is truly listening to the community. I do see this being a long term success as more and more people discover it.

  After streaming Mark Out for 2 hours I have to say I absolutely love and adore this game. it is so different to the pro wrestling games that you would normally expect and that is a positive. I've been streaming Returnal during my daytime streams but after today might have to give Returnal a little rest and put in loads more hours of Mark Out. Looking forward to seeing how this game is going to grow/evolve and hope everybody who is a wrestling fan is going to give this game the chance it deserves. I think there are improvements that are needed in areas such as the Creation and was told that there are plans to improve upon creation. As it is the creation suite is already an awesome place to build and I can't wait to see the future of Mark Out! Thank You to everybody involved and congrats to the whole team.

  REALLY FUN game if you enjoy wrestling and strategy. Game is only in early access but shows GREAT promise.. Count me in for excitement towards the future of this game!

  Can't help but suggest this right out of the gate. With workshop right out of the gate the sky is the limit with this game. I've spent most of my time in the grind mode leveling up to get more cards with the in game currency which at the moment is pretty fair for the difficulty of matches being given. It takes a match or two to get used to but I think this game is totally worth a shot and if you're a wrestling fan then what are you even doin man just pick it up and support this crazy renaissance of indie wrestling games!

  I'm rewriting my review cause everything I said last time has either been fixed or will be fixed: the game is great. it's super addicting and not P2W (unlike most card games) all bugs are fixed very quickly thanks to Shannon. crazy how one guy can fix bugs faster than AAA devs. I've been waiting for this game for more than a year and I'm NOT disappointed. the developer made a great job and honestly has a better game than some AAA titles. also, the game is still in EA so there will still be a lot of stuff that will be added. if you're thinking of getting it then you definitely SHOULD get it. Update: this game gets updated all the time. there's an update every 4-5 days (not including bug fixes only updates) amazing how much content gets added to the game. and all of them are free

  It's a good game especially when you're considering this game was made by 1 person and he put a lot of afford into it..Unfortunately I cannot play this game cause of the flashy light and the kinda fast-switching cutscenes during the match..

  This game starts out slow and definitely has a learning curve to it. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty solid! I see it more as a card game with wrestling elements, so I'll review it as such. There's a handful of wrestling CCG's but this one is the closest to a typical trading card game. While it's a bit of a grind to build your collection, that can be said about a lot of card games. I'm not too sure about the resource management. The game has a certain pace to it, you'll probably be using cards that cost 1-2 points more than anything. You'll probably use 3 as well. Anything higher I think is stretching it. since you start out with 4 points and only generate 1 point per turn automatically. Some matches can lock into you playing a 1 point card and it being reversed repeatedly during late game. However, that probably differs when playing PvP. I don't think it's a big issue. Just something I've noticed. I've been waiting for one of these games for a long time. I am certain that over time the game will continue to improve! It's definitely a solid start that can turn into something special. I do definitely recommend it if you're a fan of ccg's. Even moreso if you're into wrestling. It has create a wrestler for your avatar!
