  Worst racing game I've ever played in my life. Even calling it a game is an insult to games. I definitely do not recommend and I play for 15 minutes and return it.

  I love Cyberpunk , so I had to buy this when I saw it on a sale. I wasn't expecting much, but for £0.39 I was very very surprised at the quality of the game considering it was on a 90% off sale. That usually means a game that's probably not worth buying at full price. That said, if I'd been aware of the game before it went on sale I'd have happily paid full price for this one as it's usually only £3.99 (around the price of a large cup of Costa or Starbucks coffee). The Cyberpunk night time graphic is 'almost' stunning; the cars look shiny and realistic, you get to drive from a chase or in-car viewpoint, you can drive automatic or change gears manually to give yourself slightly more difficulty in the races. The free roam mode allows you to explore the whole city. You can see a map of the city by pressing the M key. There's a drift mode that alters the dynamic of the car when racing. The free roam mode enables you to pick various races by stopping on a glowing circular neon ringed platform. This automatically takes you to whatever race was presented on the platform. One of the things that really stood out about the game though, was loads of upgrades available that you can spend your race winning on; for example you can add different parts to the car body, different wheel designs, paint your car add vinyl decals as well as improve the suspension and performance of the car . There's a decent selection of parts for tuning your vehicle (Pistons, Connecting rods, bearings, crankshaft, exhaust manifold, down pipes, turbocharger etc. (get my drift, lol) Races are relatively easy unless you flip your vehicle (for me this is a must as I'm usually pretty dire at racing games, often coming last; e.g. I've never won a race in any of the several WRC FIA World Rally Championship games I've played over the years; (really I haven't, despite having many many hours of game play under my belt). The only way to un-flip your car is to press the Esc. key back to the main menu and use the reset button; which means the end of the race. In real life if you flip your car, that usually does mean the end of the race, so even though I would have liked a reset that returned me to the race (as included in most race games I've ever played) especially when I was actually winning; well, it's really no big deal. The AI can be quite aggressive; so, if you don't steer clear of them, they may end up flipping you. Taking a tight corner and crashing into a wall can also cause you to flip as can crashing into another car that has already been flipped; you'll encounter these occasionally on the routes; they even show up on the mini map that's provided as an overturned car , so you can usually get forewarning of a possible crash up ahead; at least if you keep your eyes on the mini map. The map also indicates where the other AI drivers are if they are close by. Still, overall I only flipped once in the just under an hours game play and that was in my first race; though I came perilously close a few other times when taking steep corners too fast. According to the map there are eight events, divided into Sprint, Circuit and Drift events. The map also shows you area's where the road surface is slippery. The game has 23 Steam achievements, a few of which are really easy to acquire (unless you use that cheat app that gives you all of the achievements in one go; which IMO seems pointless) for example buying your first car. You cannot progress in game until you've purchased your first car, so I was surprised to see that only 27.7% of owners of this game actually have bothered to play the game. That said, it also indicates that 34.4% of players have gained their first win; which seems counter to the first one I quoted???? (addendum: There may be a free car available, so not sure if my previous comment is correct). Still, hardly something to get over excited about. Most of the other achievements are just a numbers game e.g. win X number of races, buy X number of cars, have X number of cars in your garage etc. There's a multiplayer option, but the three times I've booted this up there hasn't been any one else playing the game in multiplayer mode, so rooms show up; that said, if you have friends who play this game, you can set up your own room at a specified time so that they can join you in a race; unfortunately I have no experience with the multiplayer at this time so cannot confirm whether it works or not The game does have limited race tracks; many of the races you'll encounter use the same routes or a combination of them. Still, for the full price and more-so for the sale price, this is a minor negative. Overall an enjoyable game that is well worth buying, especially if you can forgo that one cup of coffee for the day. :) Finally the game also supports controllers. If you have a controller plugged in, the game automatically detects it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the developer. I would love to see more routes added to the game and maybe even extend the city limits to add more roads. I'd also really love to see a daytime, sunrise and dusk mode included. It would also be great if you could add a different cyber city with a different layout. This would inevitably mean a price hike, but as the game stands, it's usual price is already cheap, so adding a few pounds wouldn't give the game a high price tag. I'm positive this would attract more community members to the game and hopefully encourage more player to create online lobbies so that we can experience the multiplayer aspect of this game. You could include the different time modes as DLC perhaps?

  I gotta say the game is pretty fun and addictive when you play it with friends. I hope many player will buy this and play the game so that I can beat them in a race. I like the game So far, graphics are surprisingly good for the low price. My favourite car is in the game that is the biggest plus the controller support is good, but it can be better. menus are sometimes confusing. I like the atmosphere of it, The car selection and neon aesthetics are the high point of this game. As for music find smth to listen to otherwise you will hear the same 7 tracks till you get nauseous,overall for the pricing its fun, hands down to the dev(s). PS: Like the other people said at level 12 you get 120k credit so you can max your car almost right away! nice touch

  Don't expect a racing game, it's just a cyberpunk-themed tuning simulator with a free-roam city.

  This game was abandoned long ago. Multiplayer has been dead ever since I got the game. As for the game itself <*>A.I. isn't very smart <*>Drift races don't really make any sense in the way they are scored <*>Upgrades don't make sense, cars will just go too fast to control them in the city streets <*>Achievements are broken, I still haven't unlocked the last one (No support by the developers at all, I also e-mailed them)

  This appears to be a barebones car tuning and racing template, likely designed for mobile but compiled for PC and uploaded to Steam. The tracks are boring, the open world is hardly open, and the controls are abysmal. The crashes aren't even good. Avoid, even at 90% off.

  Really good graphics. Good sound track. Decent gameplay. Tons of customization and upgrades. Cool cars. Budget racing that doesn't feel like a budget game. This is a perfect example of why I switched to PC gaming from console, there is 1000s of budget games with just as much or more content than some AAA titles offer. Crash Metal reminds me very much of NFS underground.

  cars, atmosphere, and customization are all dope and this is a good start to the game im glad i could support early on, hopefully more of everything is added. i recommend to anyone who wants to just chill and drift and save up for parts/ cars, its fun
