  The app makes an immediately noticeable impact on the responsiveness of Live2D models, even if they haven't been created using iPhone mouth shapes. There are some minor bugs present, but they're already being discussed and addressed in the discord. $10/10 would recommend for anyone already using an iPhone for their Live2D tracking. I would almost call it a must-have.

  VBridger is a powerful application that adds a new dimension of possibility to rigs, and generally enhances facial tracking from the vanilla VTube Studio tracking. However, do note that you will need to purchase iFacialMocap on the App Store (~$7.99) for the best results. Because of how VBridger works, it is currently incompatible with other 3rd-party plugins that rely on parameter injection, though this is a shortcoming of VTubeStudio's interactions with multiple injection-based plugins. In the meantime, the only workaround is to change all of VBridger's output parameters to custom parameters (which requires the Editor DLC), and then having a compatibility patch for each plugin to use those parameters instead of the vanilla inputs.

  Have been trying it out for a bit but sadly have to admit that vanilla vtube studio paired with an iPhone and proper rigging was already able to do this level of tracking. My model had this level of precision and side-to-side mouth movement as well *the disney mouth* prior to trying VBridger- I don't doubt that this maximizes it, but even with VBridger, iFacialMocap and the tracking running on a 12 Pro Max the result differs extremely little from the standard vtube studio experience. Can only recommend this for people whos model doesn't have side to side movement of the mouth to begin with, for people that do have it it's a tiny bit of a waste of money as far as I can judge at the minute.

  Liked the level of detail and customization (Bought the bundle with Editor). Although honestly this should be offered as DLC to VTube Studio instead as separate product. This app basically allows you to tweak tracking algorithm and link third party tracking app (eg. iFacialMocap) to VTube Studio, which I believe should be supported natively by VTS desktop app. Hope you can work together with VTS developer with this, I loved VTS because of its simplicity and I certainly hope we can experience the best tracking without running gazillion of apps in the background.

  It's not as fluid or customizable for the $10. Really, it's a trial of a product compared to what I imagine the "dev" version is. Disappointed in lack of features for what you get, I needed to tune some mouth movements and blinking and for $10 I couldn't do that. This base version only very slightly enhanced my model, but for the hassle to set it up, it was not worth it that small adjustment. On top of that, you need to buy ANOTHER app on your iPhone just to get this one working, so it total it ends up being a lot more than you expected! For the record, I use Vtuber Studio and have no issue with iPhone face tracking + features such as tongue out, puffy cheek, mouth side to side, etc. The one point in it's court is that my mouth while talking looked more natural. But, again, for the hassle to set it up + the lack of everything else, it's not worth it for me.

  as much as i hate to say it, this product is truly not worth the $10 :C Additions ✧adds some additional mouth movements such as the funnel & lip puckers ! ✧can add a jaw open rig for closed mouth chewing (but can make mouth open + jaw open struggle) Issues ✧the two "additions" really don't work well at all if your rig has a stylized mouth. if the character has the "basic anime mouth" featured in this tutorial, it will work wonderfully. but if you have a mouth with more features or a more advanced art style, the rigging doesn't really transfer over ✧you have to open it EVERY TIME when launching VTube Studio (or other facial tracking software) to access its features. once you purchase it and link it to VTube studio, it doesn't stay connected automatically. you have to manually reconnect it every time before streaming. ✧relating to the above issue, connectivity. VBridger has a very difficult time connecting to other devices for tracking such as iPhone. it also has trouble connecting to, and staying connected, to VTube Studio. ✧it occasionally bugs out frequently. i have had some features not work entirely once connected, such as the mouth funnel. the jaw is working this time? wonderful, but now the mouth isn't (and vice versa). ✧also to do with bugs, sometimes the "VBridger Tracking head" will just start spinning around incoherently. it messes up the facial tracking and sometimes won't stop spinning or turning around (though i'm facing the camera) even if i close and reopen the program.

  Conclusion:

  just use the base VTube Studio, it works the best (especially with proper rigging). VBridger is only really "necessary" if you want to make a "poggers" face without hitting a manual toggle button.   I wanted to give this software a positive review for the most part expect for one critical error seeming to be on this programs end. After a bit, sometimes longer sometimes shorter, this app will start to lag and you're forced to refresh the connection to fix it. They seemed to have added a little refresh button (possibly for this specific issue) so you can just click that be done with. However, streamers such as myself find this extremely annoying and makes the program a little too much of a pain to deal with especially during streams. I love being able to have ifacialmocap rigging on my 2D model, but it seems this program needs some functionality reviewing. Having to refresh during stream about 3-10 times an hour is a giant turn off and makes me more annoyed since I paid money for it as well. All I can say is I hope they fix this issue as I know that I'm not the only person that has this specific problem by a long shot... Other than that one issue, everything else seems to be smooth and fairly straight forward and even customizable. If they could fix this one problem I feel this simple app would be a 10/10 for those who desire the best tracking they can get for their 2D rigs. But as it stands the issue is a BIG annoyance. I pray it gets fixed!!

  Since VTubeStudio supports both PC/Mac. Was expecting this plugin to be the same. Unfortunately no, if you're a mac user you're out of luck, which is very disappointing. Doesn't even work well with virtual machines. If you're Looking for a face tracking software on a Mac for VTube Studio skip this. Hopefully this gets updated to support Mac as well.
