  The DLC policy is a complete rip-off. They add the bare minimum of new factions they can get away with and then charge you half the price of the full game to add a new one every few months. I get needing to make money and I have no problems with games that cost 60-70€ but this just leaves a sour taste in my mouth that makes me not ever come back to your games.

  These DLC prices just got way way way to high Many people here seem to suffer from stockholm syndrom but 25 euros for DLC packs like that is just way to much Espacially with such a low frequence of bug fixes and free improvements No inflation in the world can justify price hikes like this

  Game is good, im not going to say you wont get your hours. but the pricing is getting ridiculous. Wait till TWH3 is on sale for 80% off, then buy TWH1 and 2 races to fill out your immortal empires. youll get way more bang for your buck this way as the TWH3 DLCS are insanely priced.

  So I am just here to point out that CA has yet to successfully launch a DLC without introducing a host of new bugs. The launch, and almost every patch since, have been slow and bug-riddled. The last DLC added an entirely new race (Chaos Dwarfs) was mostly just reskins of existing units from other rosters. Same animations, same hitboxes, etc. That DLC was not worth $25. This DLC adds 3 new Legendary Lords, and a few new units for $25. At a certain point, we as consumers have got to start saying no to this type of behavior. I know I will not be paying $25 units for what will almost certainly be another buggy mess.

  I recommend buying this game on sale when it is finished in 2026-2027, then get a good mod for a complete experience of your choosing. There is no end to the bugs. For each patch and bug fix we got, there are 2-3 more new bugs. Each DLC brings fresh bugs not only to the game in general but also to previous DLCs. Pricing is greedy. Forum support is totalitarian and encouraging of sycophants. Serious criticism are censored and banned. CA corporation treats customers with contempt and disgust like we are their pay pigs.

  The game is in a sorry state. Each new patch introduces new bugs. Some of their supposed fixes AND NEW CONTENT in the patch notes don't even work or are not even in the game. Developers are completely radio silent as well. On top of all this, they have the nerve to charge $25 for a small DLC when they won't even fix the base game. Total War just is not worth your money.

  25$ is absurd for the upcoming dlc, its almost half the price of the base game and barely adds as much as the older dlc which were cheaper

  While I have followed and enjoyed the Total War series for many years (through many awful releases and successful DLCs!), this latest attempt with the Shadows of Change DLC is beyond the pale. They're giving us less content than a decent WH2 DLC pack, for 2.5x the price (10->25$), and matching the price to the recent Chaos Dwarf DLC--which was an entire race with dozens of units and new mechanics and territory! You can't claim inflationary raises of 250% for even less content than usual, while still not fixing the nearly infinite bugs and problems still present in this 1.5 year old game. Thus, it is with a heavy heart than I cannot recommend this supposedly penultimate masterpiece with the knowledge of the greed-driven actions within CA. They should be disgusted with themselves.

  Slow fixes, overpriced dlc. Wait for a heavy sale and hopefully more fixes to come. Game needs a custodian team for bug fixes.

  Won't recommend this game to anyone or be purchasing anymore dlc until they stop increasing the price for them. Each subsequent DLC costs more and more, and we get less and less content. The newest DLC is slated to be 35 bucks, and its not even giving us a new faction or anything. I encourage anyone still playing wh3 to follow suit and vote with your wallet and show them that this sort of thing is not ok. 35 bucks for a dlc, my god. I could buy an entire game on steam for that much.
