  Excellent, but seems to have a few quirks. Quirks: 1. You can't quit an ongoing game (e.g. to switch to campaign mode) without quitting out of the game. 2. "Campaign" and "Free Mode" are misspelt in the menu 3. There should be more customization settings, such as piece x-y move rate etc. Around level 9, the piece move/rotate speeds become impedingly slow. 4. The resolution change menu either needs a "This change requires a restart" text, or the resolution change needs to occur as soon as the "Apply" button is pressed. Improvements: 1. An option to switch between wireframe and shaded views needs to be added. Verdict: Recommended.

  I had a game like this back in the day on my Amiga computer called Blockout. It is fun to be able to play it again. One complaint is that it would be nice if the game showed you a shadow or highlight directly below your piece so you can see exactly where it will fall when dropped (or "pushed" as the game calls it). It does have some amusing spelling errors in the game. Take my advice: Go into Steam's Big Picture mode and edit your controls so that moving the piece in the four directions uses hold repeat. Not at the default speed, maybe two steps below that. I am using the Steam Controller so I turned on haptic ticks for each time it moves. The game defaults to repeat the move if you hold the direction but it is far too slow for my liking. You can repeatedly tap in any direction as fast as you like, so using Big Picture to "rapid fire" the four directions will give you more responsive held movement controls. The music is better than I expected. Quite excellent. I suspect the composer was a fan of Jan Hammer. The game also gets bonus points for having non-standard pieces. Awesome!

  i think you mean Campaign and Free mode does your setup not accept 9 letters thats tragic if true
