  Cloak and Dagger Games is one of my low-key favorite studios making games today. "Criminally underrated" is a phrase that comes to mind. A bunch of people have played the unsettling "A Date in the Park" as it is free on Steam, but not enough people have played the late-80s-teen-horror "Football Game" , or, my favorite, the classic kung-fu adventure "Legend of Hand". Cloak and Dagger makes games that feel like an original twist on a classic formula, all at an extremely reasonable price point! While each game is different, a hallmark of their design is the use of frequent but brief closeups, cutaways, and flashbacks - a device that I think works very well. I am hoping that Sumatra: Fate of Yandi takes off. Clocking in at about 2-3 hours, Sumatra tells the story of a logger who becomes lost in the jungle following a landslide. It's a classic adventure and once I picked it up I couldn't put it down until it was done. The high point is how the game captures the feeling of exploring a jungle with excellent alternating use of music, silence, and nature sounds, and lovely pixel-art animated animal close-ups. It's got everything you want: Damp caves, vines and flowers and bright fruit everywhere, rapid rivers, steep cliffs, mysterious compounds out in the middle of nowhere, the works. I found the challenge in this game to be just right, as well. No unsolvable puzzles, no moon logic. Please do yourself a favor and pick this game up.

  Another masterpiece by Cloak and Dagger Games! This is exactly how an adventure should look like. The storyline is great and it includes a powerful message. The scenery is very atmospheric and also shows the harsh truth about today's world. The puzzles aren't challenging at all, but they're still very nice. Keep the games coming, Cloak and Dagger Games!

  Bought the game. Launched it. Played it all the way through. Great game, I love the art of this game. The color palette is great and nothing blends in to the point of pixel hunting. I got hung up once in the game for about 20 minutes but it was very much my fault lol. I missed a very obvious combination of two items. The story is relatively predictable but with the short play-time of the game this is not something that drags on. Buy it and play that s***, hidden gem in steam. GG

  Sumatra: Fate of Yandi is a charming and intriguing point and click adventure game, set in the lush green Indonesian jungles, full of native inhabitans and wildlife. With simple, but charming graphics, atmospheric soundtrack, many puzzles and problems to solve, as well as simple two-button interface, S: FoY is definitely recommended for all the fans of the classic point and click genere, be it adventure veterans or beginners (the game isn't terribly difficult, so it shouldn't be much of a problem even for the amateur adventures). Cloak & Dagger adventure games always took the best insporation from the classic LucasArts/Sierra adventure games, and this one is no exception. Two thumbs up!

  What an amazing old school point n click adventure game. I loved it. The story and characters were amazing. Sometimes it was monkey island hard, but we love a challenge. Definitely very highly recommended!

  This is the sort of game that makes you think - whether it's about how to progress with the game, or about how our decisions as a species can have global impacts. It's fun, affordable, and faithful to Southeast Asia; all of which are win-wins in my books :)
