  For a game focused on teaching you things and learning things, the gameplay is surprisingly fun and challenging. I think this will fit different places for different people. If you are a beginner learner, then this can serve as a great introduction to your target language, with an immersive way to learn some useful vocab/instructions. As an intermediate/advanced learner, I instead found this as a nice foray into a game that I can understand 100% of in my target language (which if you've been learning languages for a while, that experience is *the best*) and does a good job of drilling certain basic but often difficult to remember things into your head. For example, I almost never give or get directions in Japanese, so when its time to remember what "left" and "right" is I always stumble, not remembering which is which. So definitely a strong recommendation for beginner learners, and intermediate/advanced learners may have some fun with it. As it stands now, what they *do* cover of the language is covered very well, and in a very memorable way, so if and when updates come out I will surely be playing them!

  El juego entrega lo que promete. Es una forma divertida de adquirir vocabulario y practicar pronunciación. Aunque es una idea atrevida, considero que sí funciona. Te recomiendo que hagas el entrenamiento primero. Es un juego simple para principiantes pero es una excelente forma de consumir/introducir el lenguage que estas aprendiendo. Las voces son geniales! transmiten una personalidad muy graciosa y hablan super claro!

  This game is ok. This game is not effective for learning complex vocabulary and grammar and at most is something you will play to ignite your passion for a language/ in your bored time. The game is very buggy when it comes to the fps aspect as enemies infinitly spawn with no despawn. Making wayyyyyy too many entities and on a rtx3070 i was getting 10 frames by the time i completed the level. Some further elaboration on the languages beside basic phrases would be nice. I played the swedish level for reference. Also i did the training level but never got the achievement so that might be bugged.

  It's fine, it does exactly what it promises, a fairly simple fps that will help you practice your vocabulary. It will not be the best fps, but it is enough to train you and have fun practicing the basics of any language.

  This game is a great proof of concept for immersion based learning that appeals to people who may not normally pick up languages, the voice acting is spectacular in every language and the game play loop is surprisingly fun and intense. This game is NOT a substantial method for learning a language from scratch, it will teach you numbers, a couple scarce few vocabulary words, and some swear words. However, I don't really think it needs to be anything substantial. This game is an AWESOME tool for those that are just wanting to dip their toes into language learning before moving on to more serious resources. And it will highly appeal to the Duolingo crowd that loves to do multiple language courses. If nothing else, its a great game to help you decide on a language you want to learn if you are undecided. Pick whatever attractive girl you want to praise and swear at you, what sounds best, and whichever you seemed to learn best is the one you can continue on to learn seriously lmao.

  I've been searching through language learning games because I'm trying to dive back into Japanese and this game looked extremely intriguing as a first person language learning shooter - and after around 2 hours of game-play, I'm a bit of a fan. I was able to pick this one up during the special promotion after watching a trailer and couldn't really comprehend how playing a first person shooter while being guided by a voice, purely speaking in another language would help me learn. Well let me tell you, within the first half an hour of playing this game I'd learned colours, numbers, directions, actions, up and down and a bunch of basic words. I was quite excited when I started realising how fast I was learning and retaining information. The game does start to get quite challenging after a while however this just motivate me to get faster and faster at shooting, running and using keypads. The voice acting is lovely and I can understand some playful humour being used which is a nice touch, especially when it comes to your food and drink choices >_< The FPS game-play is pretty satisfying with the range of weapons and armour to choose from as well as the different types and capabilities of the enemies hunting you down. The game replay-ability is as long as the list of languages available as you can't progress without being guided to make the correct decisions. I look forward to future updates for this game and seriously wish for it's success as I've had so much fun playing this and look forward to more extensive language learning challenges when they're available!

  TL;DR: As many have already said in other reviews, overall, it's not a bad game. It's a basic FPS game aimed at beginners in both language learning and the genre. There are some issues with it that may deter a lot of people from paying for it... Positives: - It is simple enough for anyone to get started, even if you don't game - Voice acting is really clear - Can get addicting Negatives: - Occasionally the menu bugs out and it looks as if I'm moving the cursor through all the options really quickly. It's not game breaking but just slightly annoying. - I got stuck on the spot twice in two separate rooms, once on the hanging thing on the roof close to the exit and once in the middle of the floor after the first robot - The robots get very annoying, they just keep coming at you infinitely, after gathering a handful of crystals I found myself running away from robots more than trying to do the challenges/learn - No save game :( It's a little annoying after having collected 7/8 crystals to then be overrun by robots and die; then not have any progress saved.

  Saw this on my store and got excited, unfortunately it was rather disappointing. The game is basically an asset flip fps where you fight large groups of enemies but there is a language learning element. You must complete various puzzles that require basic knowledge of the language in question. -Good- -I completed the game in 1h so I can get a refund -The voice acting for Japanese was good -Bad- -It really isn't worth the price for the quality -The game play is boring and repetitive -After completing the tutorial all further content is just testing your knowledge, not teaching anything new Overall I like the concept but the execution is disappointing.

  It's a great starting point in a lang. learning journey. To be successful in learning a language, you need to do things in your target language but there are NO fun/accessible resources for beginners. I can try to watch movies in Spanish or even play games in Spanish, but this media is made for natives not for learners. That's why I recommend this game, it makes possible to enjoy and consume the language you're learning. I'll keep supporting these developers because they're into something really useful.
