InfraSpace Özellikler

Produce Everything you Consume

Out on the edges of human space, you can't build a city by spending credits. Instead, you'll have to put your first astronauts to mining work and get some raw materials. Once you have some iron, carbon, sand, and sulfur, it's time to set up your first steel mill and concrete factory to start laying down some infrastructure. Even necessities like food and oxygen require a steady production chain that must not be broken!

Transport Infrastructure

InfraSpace simulates every. single. car. Each resource you ever produce needs to be transported to a factory for processing and each product needs to go to a habitat for consumption. Your road network can handle a lot, but without your oversight it will grind to a halt and drown in traffic eventually. Build highways, roundabouts, and multi lane roads to ensure the production heart of the city keeps beating.

Population Growth

Your first colonists will be astronauts, the best and the bravest humanity has to offer. Give them food and shelter and they'll keep your outpost running no matter what. As your settlement grows, you need to cover the increasing workload by employing scientists and engineers, which require a few more creature comforts. Any city of sufficient size will sooner or later be home to more and more families as well, so make sure your schools can handle it and you are able to deliver the latest VR-edutainment products as well.

You don't have to play hard

Traffic management can be fickle and survival can be tough. You can adjust the difficulties of both to make your city management experience as easy - or as hard - as you want it to be.

Very Chill and Relaxing game. Easy to get in. There's no rush, no pressure (good or bad). Graphics are ok even though some things like road connections and building entrances need some love. More mechanics would be nice and they are comming in roadmap (fingers crossed). Game is worth supporting and has potential. Logistic part is interesting. You only have storage for construction materias and other stuff like iron is stored at drills and supplied to whatever building needs it via truck. I'd like to see a dedicated storage unit to have more control over what and where is stored for further (closer) chain supply.

THIS is the city builder I didn't know I was waiting for! I love the idea of a PRODUCTION based city game (instead of taxes) and so far it's great. It's a lot of what I wanted out of some other recent games like Dyson Sphere Program and Per Aspera. But it is so much closer to Cities Skylines, and that makes me really excited. Seems like there is already a ton of content which was my biggest concern before buying. There's 7 types of ores to mine, for example. And that's one of 11 different building tabs. I'm very pleased by that and am excited to sink more many hours into this game. There's a lot of potential! I'm glad it is relaxed enough that I didn't have all my colonists starve/asphyxiate when I spent all my starting material on roads and couldn't get my o2 generator down LOL. I was able to recover and just needed to wait for concrete to be made. Unlike cities skylines, where I still often bankrupt myself in the first 20 minutes. Haha

Have had two playthroughs of this game now, one till endgame, other to midgame. Here's a bunch of what I have to say: Summary: If you're into a game where you have to manage flows of resources from extractors, to factories and onto "consumers", then this is one for you. It has some citybuilder mechanics, but most of it comes down to making sure your infrastructure is equipped to deliver the necessary goods on time. So expect this to be a mix of cities skylines lite, with a mix of factorio lite. That may describe it as best. The dev is also super responsive to bugs, fixing those I ran into within a day. I have to give some mention of that, because that's some real level of commitment. Pros: - Quick to learn, hard to master. - Not grindy. - Not as complex as, let's say, cracktorio. - Dev is super responsive to bugs. Cons: - Right now, replayability is not very high. It's the same gameplay with a new map. - It could do well with extra content, but as it's early access right now, that's definately bound to come. So all in all, I can give a recommendation for this game. If it continues down it's current path, then this title can definately become very enjoyable to a lot of people in the long run.

Silly things like power poles having some insane auto cabling, so if you place a little grid of 4 poles it'll spam multiple cables connecting them all multiple times... Makes playing with OCD a true nightmare. Update: Devs released a patch to fix this only a few hours after complaining about it... Changed my mind to recommend it

Well worth playing in its current form. The start is a little intimidating, especially if you're a perfectionist. Laying out a city without gridlines (and when you can set any angle you please) is intimidating, but you get used to it, and the end result is a city that looks and feels far more organic and real than anything I've created in a competing game. Developers are very responsive, fixes are being deployed rapidly, and the game is challenging but not punishing. Unlike some other games in the genre, there's a pretty clear sense of "You could do this next" at pretty much every step of the way, but it never tells you that you have to do a particular thing next. It's not perfectly polished, but it's in very good shape for Early Access, and the bugs (which aren't huge in number) are 'somewhat irritating', nothing worse.

Lots of reviewers are throwing out comparable games. The first thing that came to mind for me was Anno 2070 but with actual traffic and less frustration. I loved that game, so this is a plus. I also got a huge whiff of Surviving Mars, again with actual traffic and less frustration. I was not a fan of that game, so I'm happy to say I enjoy InfraSpace more. If you liked either game, you'll very much like InfraSpace. If you enjoy solving traffic problems or even just watching traffic in Cities Skyline, then this will appeal to you. If you enjoyed solving logistic problems in Shapez.io, this is a must have. If you strive for logistical efficiency and optimization, well that's most of the game. I'm early on, but it seems to me that traffic replaces what would be a conveyor belt in other factory/colony games. I fall asleep playing Mini Motorways in bed all the time, so I can jive. The game has great potential. I'm looking forward to seeing the roadmap go live and opening the game up to modders.

At this time, I DO recommend this game, but, there are still lingering issues that I've found. See bottom of post for my "rant". [EDIT-Seems as though the #48 news corrected the issues I was experiencing. Everything else looks to be "my" problem with the routing and design of the roads] Things I like: - I like having a system that I have to continuously replenish, such as the residential zones. - I like how in order to grow the residential, you need different components to create more dense areas - I like that you can upgrade the mining areas. - I like the infinite resources. - I like how the traffic is actually managed (Redirect traffic into different lanes) - I like that your city has to be at a certain size before you can do particular research on techs, and if your city gets smaller than the required size for that tech study, that tech study STOPs, and you have to manually continue on that research once you reach that required city size again. - I like how every vehicle has a start and stop point and has to deal with traffic wherever its at. - I like how the game itself "talks" to the forum so you can see recent titles of posts by the community without having to go to the site to see updates. This I don't like: - I don't like the seemingly random stop-and-go traffic at non-intersection points (Bug), as mentioned below. - I'm not seeing a lot of actual feedback from the Devs on comments left by the community in the forum, but I see a lot of decent and active suggestions posted by the community. Rant: I LIKE the game, but, traffic flow (not management) is a significant problem. Between reloads, I find that traffic gets "stuck" and stops at a straight through roads. This isn't at an intersection (I get why stop and go traffic would happen), there are merging traffic lanes. I find that at a straight or slight bends in the road, at random points, traffic stops for a moment and continues on, which backs things up. EVERY time I reload my game at the end of my (literal) work day, I end up spending a couple of hours trying to coax traffic to start flowing again. I find major traffic jams, I find that my 3-lane highway is bogged down and has come to a COMPLETE stop from one side of the map to the other, I find vehicles stopping and going, and so on. This causes problems where basic essentials aren't getting to my population centres, which causes people to migrate out, which brings down production. I'll go from a population of 3500 down to 1000 (Or under) and have to re-prioritise EVERY industry every time I load into the game For this reason, I find it frustrating to play, so I don't. I STILL do recommend the game as I'm sure this will get fixed at some point.

I can't recommend it and I don't think it is going to get better. The core design is just weird. It is not really a citybuilder in any way, it is logistic chain game with conveyor belt replaced with road and resource sinks that look just like residential buildings[0]. It plays (and looks) similar to "Per Aspera": wait for more research/resources and plop even more same buildings. Nothing in tech tree is "game changing". I finished researching all tech in 12h on "hard" difficulty. While playing I would recommend splitting whole factory into independent parts (only share power). Placing each building spawns a wave of cars that will deliver input resources to it. Cars waiting to enter it will lock nearby intersections for a minute or two, so you wan't to reduce scale of that issue. I guess districts were supposed to allow logical partition but have weird default(if no rules export everything) and are clunky to use. The game provides only cycle time for each factory, while residential buildings show only consumption in items/minute. What makes matching ratios even harder are efficiency bonuses for some nearby buildings. Just not worth the effort, even more when fluctuating count for workers, just add more buildings if it looks like they are required. [0] you can connect habitats by single one-direction road as they don't produce anything

It's a traffic management game masquerading as a city builder with resource management. I gridlocked my top tier city and was unable to create steel to fix the problem so end of that city. Played another one and spread things out more to cope with traffic but that made it hard to deliver things in time to the city but moving closer together is pretty fast. I think I'm a bit addicted now.
