  Source is probably my favourite Counter Strike still. I have not played in maybe 10 years until recently and it is still so clean. I like the pre "balanced" map updates in this compared to CSGO and just how the guns feel in Source. It is pretty quiet these days but there are still some servers up and running so there is always game to play. The only thing I wish they had are some dedicated servers to keep some sort of rotation of casual but I understand that does not come with a game from 2004. Still decent community servers up though!

  I've had a solid 1v1 with a random chinese dude for about 30 minutes I won 15-8 with the final win as a knife fight my good man chinese dude bid farewell saying: "breadfood" I don't know what it meant but it meant a lot to me.

  This is an old story about a friend i met in css, if you got time to read it, feel free - Thanks There was once a guy i met in a normal game. I played versus him. We had quite some fun, i won the game after a while, his teammates flamed him in all chat to report him, but he seemed very friendly and just overall a good guy. So i've added him after the match and we talked a bit. It shocked me what he told me. This guy, went through so much that i didn't even know what to say. Since he was a kid, his family told him that he is trash, that he is useless and he would never achieve anything in life, that he only brings trouble to the family and why he doesn't kill himself already. His parents also were very violent and hit him almost daily. He had no friends, nothing in life worth for living. He tried suicide but failed and went into some kinda hospital (which i forgot) for some months. He took medicine against his depressions, which didn't help him at all. He also took overdosis once. This boy is the nicest person i have ever met and the fact that he had to go through such things, it just made me sick. So after the time he told me everything, which took a while cause he was very shy, i tried to help him with every little bit i had. Since myself had a hard time at that moment, i just could relate to him even more. All he did every day was laying in bed, listening to music and playing css. It was not easy for me to help him since he was already in such deep depression for years. I don't know what happened exactly happend cause we didn't play together these last days, but man he got really upset. He wrote me a message with the words that he is quitting css and will kill himself. I tried to contact him but till now i got no response. I know him well enough to know that he wouldn't joke about such things, but i don't know what to think or feel now. Everytime i play css i think about him and what happend to him. I'm sorry i couldn't help you more Gabriel. I miss you and will never forget you. Wherever you are, just know that i will go the path for both of us. You have helped me more then you think and i thank you so much for the time we had together. God Bless

  By far the best counter strike, playable on any PC. Settings can also be set individually, for example in CS: GO you cannot set so much. And rather less hackers. Just a nice game. My respect to the developers.
