  I had a hard time finding this DLC’s content. There are just some new challenge mode maps and Bruce Wayne Skins… There is no story and this doesn’t add anything to the main game. I don’t think this is worth the price. And if you want this: Buy the Season Pass, which includes the Cold Cold Heart campaign. That one is amazing.

  ABYSMAL !!! 1/10 === i personally don't care about the skins or the challenge maps, the only interesting thing here for me is the campaign or the CHALLENGE CAMPAIGN to be vividly clear, which you must look for under the challenge maps section of the game, and after finding it you realize it is not really a campaign, it is just 5 challenges pushed together to be called a campaign in which batman has no lines whatsoever and does not talk at all, there is no cinematic whatsoever, there is just a martial arts master who is a racist son of a beach to be honest and has like 1 line of speech at the start of each section. === ABYSMAL !!! 1/10

  Arkham Origins Initiations DLC review:- *NOTICE - if you own the Arkham Origins season pass, don't buy this or you'll be charged again. This DLC pack contains Bruce Wayne and Vigilante skins, four challenge maps, and a challenge campaign. There's no story here, it's not needed for the main story, if you like challenge maps then this pack is for you. Buy it in the season because it's cheaper.

  I could have bought Cold, Cold Heart DLC Campaign for $4.99 with the Christmas Deal. Then I saw the season pass was only $9.99 I figured why not this should be fun. Until I realized the "DLC" is buried away under challenge modes after searching for 10 minutes just to find it. This is a waste of money and I regret spending the extra $5 for the season pass. If you enjoy challenge modes go ahead and buy it, but it's not my cup of tea. I was hoping for more Campaign gameplay. In my opinion this should have been given away for free with the original game.

  This DLC managed to both be fantastic and underwhelming at the same time, how? It is simple, the character is fantastic, but the challange maps are abysmal, and instead of the full story we where promised, all we get is a challenge campaingn that features these maps. Let me break it all down for you: The maps: Togurake-Ryu: A somewhat difficult combat challenge that consists of four waves of enemies, the only new map that I would consider to be "good". Shinobi-Iri: A predator challenge that is passable, barely. Taijutsu: A two wave combat challenge that has the EXACT same layout of Togurake-Ryu, just different enemy patterns. Boryaku: An ABYSMAL predator challenge that you shouldn't even bother with. Seishinteki Kyoyo: A two wave combat challenge that has enemy patterns that are more obnoxious to deal with than anything else, and a p*ss-poor Lady Shiva fight cramed in. The character: Initiation Bruce Wayne is the fastest moving character in Arkham Origins (and my favorite), and has the unique distinction of not having to deal with the thugs being notified whenever you take someone out in predator maps. (other than the ones added in the DLC.) His combos: Special combo takedown: Same as it is for any other character. Shuriken barrage: Activated by pressing the same set of buttons as you would for the Bat-Swarm, (as Batman) you throw out a Barrage of shuriken that stun any enemies hit, and (If enough enemies are in range of the attack) three caltrops. His gadgets: Shuriken: Identical to the Batarang, exept you throw two at once. Caltrops: The same as the ones used by Catwoman in Arkham City. Grapple Hook: Robin's Zip-Kick. Kujiki Bomb: If quickfired during combat, this gadget acts as an alternative to the Multi-Ground Takedown combo, however, in predator maps, it functions as a cloaking device, allowing the player temporary invisiblity. Smoke Bomb: It is a smoke bomb, this one doesn't really need explaining. 8.5/10

  I unfortunately have to give this a negative vote. The 5 maps are great( 3 fight maps,2 predator maps) and the Bruce Wayne skins are very cool. But it is definetly not worth 7 bucks. Maybe like 4. Not 7. If there were more maps or more story this should have gotten a positive vote from my side.

  [b]DLC verdict: Don't get it[/b] [b]Comment:[/b] It gives you a new and a bit different pack of challenge mode maps that form a story. The story of how Bruce Wayne went through training. And this would be really cool if it was an actual standalone DLC story like "Cold, Cold Heart". But the way it was done is just lazy. They slapped together some challenges which, while interesting initially, become less interesting or even tedious as you play. Maybe it seems harsh but these DLCs are the reason why the game did not get patched properly as they focused on releasing these instead of polishing the main game. Maybe was worth as part of the Season Pass but that itself is not really worth the money anymore.   No story. Just a few challenge maps that's all, waste of money and time. Play Cold Cold Heart instead.

  The 'Initiation' DLC is about Bruce Wayne's early years prior to becoming the Batman. On his quest to protecting the fearful ones, he will be trained and tested beyond physical limits by Master Kirigi, his former sensei. You get to play as both ninja and vigilante (skins) Bruce Wayne while making your way to Kirigi's dojo through 9 story-driven challenges, exclusively designed for Wayne's different gameplay. If you're one of those who didn't underrate Arkham Origins (the best of the franchise, in my honest opinion), then yes get the season pass and play it. It's a must-have DLC for every Batman fans alike. + Play as ninja (trainee) or vigilante Bruce Wayne with different gadgets and arsenal + Unique story-driven challenges + new enemies + Boss battle - Vigilante story-driven challenges are absent. It's 2 regular challenge maps with no story. - More exclusive vigilante Bruce Wayne maps would have been appreciated
