  A great port of a great PS2 game, but with a game breaking bug where all of my save data disappeared. I no longer trust this game's ability to save my data, and thus, I find this port unplayable. I've never encountered this problem before in 30 years of gaming, and it's totally not cool.

  A heavy dose of nostalgia wrapped up in a port that works exceptionally well on the Steam Deck. I'll be eager to play Dark Alliance 2, Champions of Norrath, and Return to Arms. My only complaint my be that the price tag is awfully high for a twenty year old game.

  Barely better than just emulating the game. Barebones rerelease but remote play together is a good addition. Everything else is just as good as I remembered it on PS2.

  As good as when it was on the PS2. Nothing new added and no remastering at all; it's just a port for cash. If you want better graphics you have to use NVIDIA control panel global settings and have it override application settings. This makes it look pretty good for a 20 year old game. Wait for a sale unless you're impatient for nostalgia and irresponsible like me.

  Fantastic ARPG, now give us the Champions remaster please. 30 smackaroos is kinda pricey though. Oh also make a DnD Heroes port to PC. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, DnD Heroes, and Champions Return to Norath have been the games I've always used as my gold standards. Something about this era of ARPGs always had a certain charm to them, they've always had a high replay value for me.

  This game came out during the Great Holiday Flood of 2001, when the PS2 at the end of it's first year, was getting literally two must have games per week. It was one of the best games that released during that time, and like most of the old classics is still a blast now while being more enjoyable than most modern releases. Come for the amazing breast and water physics. Stay for the company over a pint of ale.

  Great action RPG, and good story to go with it. I would advise waiting for a sale as I think it is overpriced at $30. The game is not very long, but it is fun, you can start over with the same character to play through again at a higher difficulty level and continue to level your character making them stronger. There is also a hidden Extreme difficulty, which provides new challenges and better gear to find and purchase from vendors. This game also has a bit of a cliff hanger ending that leads right into Dark Alliance II, so it is advised to play this game before part 2 if you can. Even with the high price, I still think it is a classic Action RPG that was ahead of its time when it came out originally on the PS2.

  I remember playing this on the ouch with my mother on the ORIGINAL XBox years and years ago. The graphics obviously tell their time, but the game play, plot and everything in between is just like I remember. WOnderful nostalgia!

  Finished the game in > 12 hours on Easy. Its fun, very much your standard ARPG with hack and slash, loot drops after bosses and the like. After you beat the game you get to play as Drizzt Do'Urden in a timed dungeon speedrun. Kinda cool I guess? But that's it. Base game, no extras (really interesting/helpful ones, for that matter) and thats it. I would recommend this because I am a big Champions of Norrath fan, but for the price, campaign time and progression, character customization which there is none, I cannot. On a $10-$15 discount? Sure. But not for this. Hell, I think Champions of Norrath had a longer questline and better character customization than this game if my memory serves me right. But I digress. For the price you pay for the limitations this game has, Don't waste your time. TL;DR Don't buy unless you really want too, wait for a discount (which has never happened), and remaster Champions of Norrath.

  If I wasn't looking through really heavy nostalgia goggles i'd call this an extremely lazy port. All the graphics of a ps2 emulator that costs $30, but god dang it it runs well and i can remote play with friends so i'm more than happy.
