  [b]It was a tough choice, I recommend this but I also don't.[/b] I'll explain why in the end. ❥The game should last for an hour to two hours, to gain all the achievements and endings. ❥It's also best to buy this game whenever it's on sale because of how short the game is, and how repetitive the endings are. [spoiler]When she often mentioned her "daddy" and hoping for his return, it didn't give off a fatherly vibe at all. Almost as if someone had abused her previously and she gained Stockholm syndrome, especially when you start the first day she says she hopes you won't be like the "other guys", meaning she's been abused by others. It doesn't help that you as the player, end up having to abuse her as well. Even if you want the best for her, it doesn't matter. Every time she dies she isn't really dead. Whenever you start a new game, she's there again. Same girl, same memories, just a new name that starts with a T (which also made me finally understand the title) as a "new" girl. With the last ending/achievement, it further empathizes that she's just a program. I could go on about all the endings, there's a lot to unpack, but I'm exhausted after all that lmfao.[/spoiler] It's interesting. The story is well written, there's so much plot and potential, but it's very lacking because of the little closure to the story. I understand that was intended though. The fact that a literal game made me feel crappy over a program with no good endings, you did an amazing job. So don't play this if you will stress over whether there's a way to save the mc, or want happiness for her; because you'll just end up ugly sobbing @ the end results as I did. Anyway, I got way too hungover the storyline lmao, it hit me hard way more than it should have. ..And that's why my sad ass is going to make wholesome fanart of the mc right now to fill the void, cya.   Your Amazing T-Gotchi! is a game about compromise, yes compromise. Compromise that ANIME is suffering, at some point you'll be at the whims of some isekai plot, alien furry animal mahou shoujo contract, holy grail war, or be part of the Cursed Bobstar Bloodline... or maybe you'll just be an anime girl in a Tamagotchi. Play this game if you want to experience the joys of all your "upbeat" anime again because this game has loads of it, you will not go wrong.

  This isn't an actual tamagotchi-like game, it's a repeated 5 "days" where you interact with the T-Gotchi girl briefly and she gradually succumbs to the loneliness and the horrors of being stuck in one of these games. There are multiple endings for how you decide to treat her, but none of them are good, [spoiler] and the girl is quickly replaced. Each girl only lasts around 5 minutes. [/spoiler] Very good concept, but it's also very short, and leaves more to be desired. It'd be a much more interesting game if it was actually a tamagotchi type game where her suffering is slowly revealed as you inevitably begin to neglect her, and multiple game states based on how you treat her. [spoiler] Maybe even add a good ending? [/spoiler]

  I wanted to like this game, I bought it despite the review score and the warnings in the reviews and I thought "Y'know what, maybe it's trying tell something, not every story needs a good ending." Well, it IS trying to say something, there is some intended meaning behind this I think, but it's not conveying it very well. I initially, after reading the reviews, thought this would be a game about the fact that sometimes, you just can't help others no matter how hard you try and you have to accept that. But no, this is a story of abuse and you're the abuser, and that is the fact you have to accept in this game. No matter what you try to do, there won't be a good ending, which is fine like I said, not every story needs to have good endings but the problem here is the way it's framed. "YOU killed the poor little girl" the game says, "YOUR ATTENTION could've saved her but YOUR NEGLECT killed her!", all the while actively preventing you from NOT abusing the said poor little girl. The game doesn't give you a choice on how much you interact with your T-Gotchi or for how long. Even if you treat her the best way available in the time you're given, the game then forces you to abandon her for weeks (of in-game time) which ultimately leads her to depression and suicide. You can't choose to spend more time with her. For the other 7 endings I assume you have to abuse her in other ways, but I don't want to do that so I can't talk about those endings. Not every story needs a good ending, not everyone can be saved, not all games are made to feel you good. But at the same time, not giving a player choice in a story where they are one of the characters and then blaming them for the choices they didn't make it straight up bad game design. If you want to write an abuse story, just write a story. Another reviewer put it much shorter than I have: "The only way to win is not to play. So ya instant win if you don't buy this game." Even if you like generally depressive games, games with darker tones or games that tackle heavy subjects like I do, I don't recommend it. There are much better options out there and you'll not be missing anything profound.

  I want to like this and recommend it to others, but I can't bring myself to say I like what is going on, and what I'm doing to this simulated girl. I feel like this is supposed to be some sort of allegory, but all I've done, and all you [b]can[/b] do, is [spoiler]torture some girl multiple times for achievements, and there is literally nothing you can do to change what will happen.[/spoiler] I feel dirty and used after playing this, which isn't a feeling I want to have after thinking "Maybe there's something we can do." Because unfortunately: [spoiler]There isn't a thing to be done. she will die no matter what you try to do for her.[/spoiler]

  I *want* to like this, but I cannot recommend it. The story is so short, and out of the player's control, that I simply couldn't bring myself to care.

I would be doing this game (and your experience) a disservice by recounting my playthrough, and to get the most out [b]Your amazing T-Gotchi![/b] you should enter the game with no pre-existing knowledge. Get to know the protagonist, and make mistakes — there are eight endings to see, and it won't take long for your meet your second playthrough. On a serious note, this game is [i]surprisingly dark[/i] and though interesting, I wouldn't exactly call it "fun". While you can view what endings you have unlocked, you can't actually view what content they contain (which is a shame, but thematically appropriate.) You may adjust audio and display preferences from the "gearbox" icon at the bottom left of the titlescreen. Otherwise, you may adjust audio preferences from the in-game "menu" icon at the bottom-right of the screen. The user-interface is a delight, and loved loved the visuals all around. [b]- The Goods-[/b] Technically, there's nudity, but all I saw was a bare booty and a nippy slip. The main character is [i]super cute,[/i] but [b]Your amazing T-Gotchi![/b] is not a lewd game. Don't be expectin' nothin' saucy if you buy this game! [h1]Verdict[/h1] Yes, I recommend this game! But. . . it's not for the faint of heart, that's for sure. The thing is, [b]Your amazing T-Gotchi![/b] involves taking care of a hapless woman, and whatever happens to her lies squarely on you. If (and [i]when[/i]) something happens to your beloved anime girl, you'll have to look into her eyes once again the moment you hit "Get a New One!"   if you miss the dates in the bottom-left corner (which you likely will. considering the color pallet), you will most likely think this character is just a needy, manipulative bitch trying to make you feel bad for not spending 24 hours a day playing a virtual pet game. ironically, this game is about the PLAYER being abusive. once you get past that, you're just stuck doing whatever horrible thing you can think of to this low-poly anime girl. there's a niche for those sorts of sadist games, but even within that niche, this is just boring. it constantly teases you with the idea of some larger story, but there's not enough there to justify not going deeper into it. this game's fate was sealed in my eyes when i actually said the Eight Deadly Words out loud.
