I invested all my money into a confectionery. It left my broke, stressed, and unhappy. I wound up in the hospital and couldn't pay my bills. I was on my death bed and accepting my fate as a broke dead beat. Then my angel, Amy, informed me the confectionery had taken off and I made $31M when I was expected to make $4M. I bought a house, car, and left the hospital a rich happy man. Update: I now own 100% of 8 of the companies in the game. Another 4 I have a controlling stake and the other 2 I own 25%. I own countless cars, homes, and my assistant is in love with me. No one knows who I am and I'm worth 6B Yen. Life is good, y'all. 12/10 Would play again.

    Hey there!

Personal thoughts and knowledge: I've been training under a junior hedge fund manager as an analyst for the last three years, and I would have to say that this game encompass some of the more fun aspects of the stock market. Such as managing relations, and legal guidance according to the law and enforcement such as SEC etc (insider trading junk). My understanding is that the financial reports you can pull from Amy are equivalent to those of financial reports like 10K documents(annual reports to shareholders). Personally, I like to play the game without the phone calls from friends that mention insider knowledge of the companies and purely trade off the abilities of the board members and C level management in combination with the awareness of how the industries are performing. Positive Comments: Numbers going up gives me happiness. But seriously, I really like the fact that companies can be in dry spells for your entire play-through of the game. It just depends on how your market plays out given the news/who all is employed by the company and their abilities. I think for the first 4 years I played the game, I had a company "Capcon" that performed like sh*t for the entire period I played. However, a different series played out for company "NT" where new management took over, and the value continued to hold its own in comparison to the other organizations. It's nice to know that the features included in the game actually play into each other and aren't just there for non-sensible pop-ups. I also like that the weekends act as the "after hours" where companies typically exchange shares or contracts conclude. Constructive Criticism: I believe there are some quality of life changes that could be made but maybe this is me just wanting to inherently optimize my workflow within the game. Typically I'll have my own layout (irl) where I can organize information or write down recent information and how that correlates to similar past events that I've kept track of. I feel like this could be a really fascinating mechanic that could be included adding an extra depth of difficulty and an ability to track and retain information from the market. It would just be up to the player to track it properly or be potentially punished for tracking improper information. This would also allow the Developers to continually add new events that cause mayhem without throwing the players into the dirt before they understand what the event will potentially result in. I also feel like there could be more categorization. What I mean by this; stock earnings reports, annual reports and lists of information in general (just some examples) could allow for filters that allow you to measure the companies from top to bottom in order of highest valuation or dividend yield (vise-versa as well). This feature could be available for purchase for the player in "November 19, 1987" as this is when "Microsoft Excel" debut and was revolutionary in the financial industry when organizing and orchestrating information. This would force the player to get used to the order of things for the first three years and then allow them to organize information more complexly. I am very excited for the story mode, and more complex events that take place and a greater difficulty! Final Thoughts: You really can't go wrong with this game if you're really checking it out in the first place. Definitely for a niche community here on steam but nonetheless a fun experience. I think it would be pretty funny if this game ended up so close to the real deal that it was used for training. I think of like racing sims when that comes to mind, and how professionals run courses virtually to prepare themselves for the various environments that occur in their professional runs. I don't feel like going back and reading what I said so if I got something wrong everyone is invited to correct it for future readers.

Okay, got this game off of an ad on Opera Gx. All my buddies know I've always been into stuff like this, so I streamed it for them all in discord. I started at 6Pm. It is now 1am and I have gone hoarse from screaming at my monitors over stock prices, horse racing, and my inability to get any luck in Pachinko. The artstyle is really good, soundtrack is good and gives it a great retro feel. I was NOT expecting to sink an instant 7 hours into this game IN EARLY ACCESS, but here I am. For me, it was highly addictive, and a blast with friends watching, as well as by myself. And, for the $8.99 I paid for it, it was well worth it. I am also not one to write reviews, but, here I am. lol. I'm excited to see what the Dev's are going to do with it in the future. Great game to sink some time into and just have fun. And also be kinda stressed when you are under investigation from the SEC for fraud. But still having fun.

This game is a lot of fun, I was surprised by the amount of things you can do in the game. Unfortunately the game crashed and I lost some progress which wasn't the best but being EA that is to be expected. I don't really write reviews for games but this game has great music, art choice, and design. Hoping it becomes a more popular title and development continues for it. I love Amy. -------- Long list of issues below Few issues I've run into so far: 1. Contacts don't seem like they do anything? 2. Not possible to see what price I entered a position especially if you go long and the entry is beyond the scope of the charts. 3. Charts are hard to read sometimes, especially if one stock is doing really well and the other stocks are all collapsed onto each other. 4. When hovering over the company on the left, there should be some kind of indicator to show which line is that company as the CRT effect added in makes it really hard to tell what line is what. 5. Weeks go by super faster, sometimes its very easy to miss talking to Amy. 6. Sometimes stress seems unbeatable at times, even with the best house and car and going to the bar consistently I was stressed out and lost a bunch of money due to the hospital fees. 7. When becoming the president of the company, I weirdly got dialogue in Cyrillic(?). 8. When I short a stock it tells me I made record profits but i'm realistically in debt, that debt can then be used again as funding to buy stocks. 9. You can pause right after news breaks to buy into a news cycle before it gets priced in Overall, the game has a lot of depth to it and is a great game to relax and play with and the level of immersion is really based on your own ideas.
