  Despite the XXI century, your country of origin or culture - you might be one of those people who love the vintage, retro vibe and like to explore old stuff. But if you also like the history of the communism, and feel the itching for choosing cyberpunk themed games, then feel free to get yourself a copy of "Sovietpunk". People who enjoy multiple choices, various movements and very demanding gameplay, might be not enjoying this title at all. If you don't mind something simple, like a typical click-point game, but with a properly written storyline which is a mixture of cyberpunk-communism realm with some one-character focused experience, then go for it. "Sovietpunk" is just showing you a story, giving you a chance for doing about 3 more interactive things in it, like playing in mini arcade game at some point, but you cannot expect anything above that. That short game is more like a creativity blend of some graphic creation with a fictional story, and it is prepared for you more like for a book reader or a movie geek, rather than very serious gamer. If you are still interested in buying it, do not complain later, cause it is very obvious what are you looking at, especially when price of this title is so low. That is all you have to know, with no serious spoilers included.

  Very short and more of a visual novel than adventure/point'n'click game, but there is some potential and for that price (especially with 50% off) it's worth and hopefully sequel will have more mechanics and longer story if it will ever come out There are a few things in the background you can check for bonus info about the world and even a machine to play so it even have side activities, but it's hard to get immersed in such a short, simple and cliche story Writing is not terrible but it has no real depth and is very simplistic, and every character seems almost the same... but again for that price it's hard to expect much more... and then again for such lenght even this price should give us something slightly better as when it comes to design and art it actually doesn't look bad Overall it feels rushed both in terms of how fast we get from a scene to another and in terms of development, as it feels like someone wrote the script in one sitting after getting arts, added two sounds in, two soundtracks and published it Maybe it deserves the not recommened more than to recommend it, yet I feel that neutral opinion also fits better (steam pls let us give them not only as curators) as if it's just and intro to an actuall game or even a series I'm fine with that, but if the sequel will be another 15 minute game with two interactions there is no point in spending even 50 cents on either of them.

  For only a buck I can't complain but Late Rebirth really sold itself short. With no choices and barely anything to explore, it's basically an interactive movie. The writing is fine and the pixel art is the best aspect but in terms of actual gameplay the most interactive thing in the entire game (ironically) is an arcade machine that you can miss while playing. If there's a sequel for this planned, having branching decisions or more interactive segments like the vodka or circuitry scene would take this from project to a full fledged experience. Did the game deliver what it set out to do?: Yes, which is why I think Hot Chilly is selling themselves short here. The investment into the universe is lost due to the lack of any decision making. Art: 8/10 Writing: 5/10 Interactivity: 3/10 Difficulty: 1/10 Final Verdict: 4.5/10

  [h1] Life in tunnels[/h1] Sovietpunk is a cyberpunk story set in the setting of the Soviet Union after a global nuclear war. You have to guide the main character through the gloomy tunnels, in which the struggle for life is in full swing. In 2002, a nuclear conflict engulfed the entire world. The surface of the earth became temporarily uninhabitable, all the survivors organized life underground. The government announced the "Snowdrop" project, according to which, after 40 years, life on the surface will be possible again. The events of the game take us to 2037, in which very little is left before returning to the surface. But people are already exhausted by life underground, there are not enough resources for everyone. We have to look at this world, full of injustice and hardships, through the eyes of an old hard worker, and also overcome all the trials sent to him by fate. For more efficient resource management, society was divided into 2 levels: Upper and Lower, which eventually resulted in significant social problems. Poverty, hunger, crime, high mortality, corruption are just an incomplete list of the gloomy realities of the Lower Level, which ordinary people have become prisoners. Cyberpunk Stressful conditions have given rise to new technologies such as implants or food synthesis. Many of them are not yet perfect and hide terrible secrets, but it is technology that is the beacon of hope in such a complex world. Point & Click The game contains Point & Click elements: the locations have interactive objects that carry additional information about the world and contribute to immersion.
