Project RIP คุณสมบัติ

BACKGROUND STORY

Life as we know doens’t exist, hordes of undead and demons have emerged and now rule the earth. The human race was forced to live in underground shelters in order to survive. To take what used to be theirs, humanity gathered forces and established small specialised teams to eliminate the threat. This action was called Project Rest in Pieces, aka R.I.P .

Killing the undying would not be enough, instead humanity developed an extremely advanced AI technology to manipulate specialized forces, now called “Agents”, in order to command from headquarters.

Using this advanced technology, AI called by project’s name “R.I.P.”, managed to capture the leftover souls of the undead to perform improvements on Agents gear, weaponry, but also on their strength and abilities.

Now it’s up to you, to save what remains...

I like the game, but it feels like an early access, not what a release should be. Here is my take on Project RIP. Pros: - good graphics and well optimized engine with lot of options (runs well on my toaster, surprising!) - interesting progression system that makes the game engaging - music is great and matches the ambiance of the game Cons: - shitty hitbox, like seriously, the basic shootgun, pointblank in the head misses half of the time, WTF?! - bad visibility, I was cornered and 2 enemies was on me, and because it was too dark (dispite having increased gamma in the options) I could do nothing, and that happens a lot - enemies when they are on you, you CAN'T SEE THEM: there are 2 stories about that: - "I was on the second map, and took constant damage, but didn't find where the enemy was, and I lost because of that" -> I discovered that one enemy is invisible until you shoot it...but because it makes no sound, you have no idea until you hit it at random) - enemies are tiny compared to you, when they are on you, it's like they try to give you a blow job or something! - getting stuck in the environment (especially in the first map, but also on stairs in second map, with nothing to block me as far as I could see, died that way...) - no attack sound cue (you never know if there is something behind you) - no spawn sound cue - looking around for the last enemy, damn, could we have indication on screen or something? - always short on ammo, and the pickups appear randomly. no luck? = no ammo! - only 3 maps, and only the first one is good (despite too much mist) Well, not good at the current state. I'll not refund it, and want to give the devs a chance, because it is very promising. If the state of the game changes, I'll update my review.

This is a good game, good if you want to kill monsters. No story, level up yourself and weapons. The graphics are well done and very smooth on my rig, max settings @ 2560 x 1440p, 120+ fps. I'm having fun with the game so far and I think you will too. P.S. Great background music fits well with killing shyt...

It's not bad but theres a serious problem when a game doesn't let you rebind mouse keys. I don't know how it can be 2020 and developers still don't know how to do this.

I had a lot of fun with it. Aiming takes a sec to get the feel, but is uniquely fun once you do. Most of the negative reviews didn't even bother to play it for more than 30-60 minutes or just complained that they died. The real fun comes when you have some upgraded gear and play on RIP. Also make sure you put the effects setting on High so you can see the invisible dudes refraction. Below that setting they are totally invisible. (I had no problems on my 11yr old potato pc.)

This game is the Walmart Great-Value version of Killing Floor. It has a certain charm to it with good graphics. However, I have huge issues with there basically being no point to have a reticle, I'm going to miss my target even on a moderate range headshot. The melee is also one of the wonkiest implementations I've seen. Standing 4 feet away from the wall? Don't worry, your guy will do his damnedest to hit it anyways and miss all those swings you have trained directly on their head. I'm not a big fan of the little guys literally going inside where I'm standing, forcing me to aim straight down to maybe hit them. This is all besides the fact that there are only 3 maps and an arena mode. I've only got 3.1 hours on record at time of writing this and I've already completed 1 to it's hardest difficulty, the 2nd one to the 2nd hardest difficulty, and the 3rd up to the middle difficulty. This game has potential and it is certainly on its way to being a solid title but I can't recommend it at it's current state and price. Play Killing Floor 2 instead.

I really wanted to like this game, but I can't. It's kinda cool with the premise and the advancement, but the gameplay is really bad. First off it is just hard to see much. You can to play and die a couple times just to understand what the map is supposed to look like because everything is dark and foggy. Just look at the screenshots above. The dark and fog would be okay if this was a story driven game that builds suspense, but its straight up FPS waves of enemies so you end up running into some object you can't see and get killed. You run into object all the time because objects that look like you would be able to get past or jump over like a coffin block your movement. You can jump in this game, but I'm not sure why because you can't jump over anything. If you can't walk over it you can't move of jump over it. You get killed because if the enemies catch up to you and are in melee range the camera is messed up and it's like they are under you. I've gotten killed because something is hitting me, I'm stuck on some object, and I look in all directions and see nothing... then I look down and there is the the 6ft zombie that was chasing me a while back only comes up to my waist and the camera can't see it. The other frustrating thing is when you get consecutive headshot kills you go into a "Rage". I think this adds damage to your hits or something, but what it really does is make navigating the dark foggy map that you get caught on objects in slow down as a brief Pain Killer like affect goes off, but only for a second, and that thing you were trying to aim at and shoot, is no longer in your crosshairs because the crosshairs stop following your mouse for a second and then goes back to normal speed. I looked for a way to turn this off because when I was dying it was directly caused be this effect. There is no way to disable it so you will never get that "In the Zone" feeling with this game. It is as if your mouse sensitively is halved for 1 second every time you get 2 HS kills.... and this is a game where you are on a static map and the monsters spawn in waves. If I could have disabled this effect I would have played the game more, but this effect was too much on top of everything thing else. Also, when you are picking your weapon load out for the map you can't see the stats of the weapons you are picking. Like no values, graphs, bars, or anything. Just a picture and a name. There is even a TIP telling you if you want to see the stats of the weapons go to the upgrade menu..... That's right, navigate to another menu where you dynamically upgrade the stats and levels of your weapons. So you can have a 6th level submachine gun doing the same damage as an AK47, to know which one you should pick for the map you are playing you have to memorize the stats, because there is no way to compare weapon stats when you are picking your load out. Your skill perks add combat values to your character and weapons, but they are never actually calculated anywhere you can see the values change. You just have to do the math in your head, and of course skills and character stats are in yet more menus. Another thing is how slow you move. You have to just run everywhere, because your walk is like you are walking with a broken leg.

This game certainly has potential but it has a few problems that makes the game dull. 80% of the time you're looking for enemies. Your own slow and sluggish movement doesn't help either. The gunplay is solid and once you do fight a group of enemies, it can be fun. But these moments are few and far between. Might give it another try later.

Do you play deadhunt? Do you want a game that plays just like that, but with killing floor maps, call of duty weapons, and call of duty progression? Do you want leaderboards, and single player? Are you the type of person that appreciates slow reloads? Then this is the game for you.

Project RIP has alot of potential to become a new contender against the classic Call of Duty: Zombies mode. The game's graphics are far from lousy; in fact, the exact opposite. From a developer whom I haven't heard from before, I am VERY pleased to see an indie dev put so much effort into a horror-FPS game. The detail is incredible, and although some events are still under construction (such as one screen under the mods/power-ups tab, that says "Something Something Something Something." The gameplay is enjoyable, although there should be an implemented cancel-reload button, because the base shotgun is anything but useful while meandering away from giant zombies. All in all... Id give it a solid 7/10 so far. I would recommend it, even in it's current form. The minute details that detract from the experience are far minimalized by the gorgeous scenery, character model detailing, weapon selections, and advancement in rank, class, and extra perks, such as faster reloading speed, and increased damage. Here's a 30-minute video detailing my initial experience playing this game. I hope it positively sways your opinion of this game! :-) https://youtu.be/v1acwayjs_c

UPDATED REVIEW AS OF 9//12/2019 , (first older review is below this) Literally days after if not less than, the devs made HUGE content updates and also fixed the problem I had that I posted about with not being able to type my own username. A.k.a. I have 2 names on the leaderboards, GUEST and PuppyKicker. And also, no, the devs did not directly respond to me but they did fix an issue that I had along with multiple others that were troublesome and because of this I have a strong feeling they saw my comment as well as the others before mine. This is a very detailed and beautiful game, the amount of effort put into the visuals alone makes this flipping awesome. BTW, anyone who is doubtful about this, it is like a mixed drink of DOOM/PAINKILLER/RAW RED STEAK I must admit, this game is an awesome lil gory gem! I have only just bought it and look forward to more hours of playing but there is one thing that is holding me back. I can't seem to type in my account name in the beginning? I guess certain letters on the keyboard immediately skip the custom name screen and I am immediately labeled as GUEST. For a game that will require grinding, levels, perks, and time requirements, I would really like to be able to type in my own name rather than be GUEST on a leader board. Also, the ACCEPT button will not work on the name screen either, making me forced to press the letter "P". Which skips the screen and is also the first letter of my username. Would love to be able to enjoy this game to it's fullest, I see and smell potential.
