  Worth buying if you enjoy the basegame a lot. Does not add a lot of replayability to the game, though. The dinosaurs themselves are good looking, and add some much needed small carnivores to the game!

  Finally the carnivores :D The acro is nice but its like bulky and like rex the first triassic carnovire is here bois, the Herrerasaurus The proceratosaurus is nice too

  This dlc came out alongside the 1.7 patch, a update that was described as being small and having no surprises, and honestly, this dlc was a surprise and I love it! These DLC packs don't add any kind of gameplay change, that's what patches released along side them are for, what these packs do is add 3 new dinosaurs and I'm happy with the Herrerasaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, and Proceratosaurus, the Acro especially. Also, the carnivore pack was purely made because of community requests, the Herrerasaurus and Acrocanthosaurus where very highly requested, they do listen, the next update will be bigger and hopefully satisfy more people.

  It is that time again that Frontier has added new DLC to Jurassic World Evolution. It’s been months the Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack’s release and only one of the three dinosaurs ([i]Iguanodon[/i]) have been well received by most. However, I can say with confidence that all three dinosaurs are worth the price. I will go over each of their profiles, my opinions on them, and an overall score of the entire dinosaur pack. [h1][i]Proceratosaurus[/i]:[/h1] A dinosaur who’s made a brief mention in the very first Jurassic Park movie finally makes its debut into the game. It is one of the smallest carnivores in the game but has a distant connection with one of the largest carnivores in contrast: [i]Tyrannosaurus[/i]. Its animations are similar to [i]Troodon[/i] in some aspects but also has some unique animations. Its skins are okay, with Alpine and Vivid being my personal favorites. It’s my least favorite dinosaur in the pack in comparison to the other dinosaurs but it’s at least very easy to unlock early on in the game. However, it might harder to contain than other small theropods. Its comfort threshold is at 70% and requires three of its kind to be satisfied. How to unlock: Have a high reputation with the Security Divison on Isla Matanceros. [h1][i]Acrocanthosaurus[/i]:[/h1] My first impressions of [i]Acrocanthosaurus[/i] were not good. Its null skin looked boring and the model looks way too tyrannosaurine instead of a carcharodontosaurid. I thought it was going to be no different from [i]Carcharodontosaurus[/i] and remain just as forgetful; I was wrong. [i]Acrocanthosaurus[/i] is actually my favorite dinosaur in the pack and might be amongst my top ten favorite dinosaurs. Its skins are amazing, such as Jungle, Wetland, and Vivid. It also has a unique attacking animation by headbutting the enemy to stagger them, then bite down. It stands out from the rest of the large carnivores by a lot and easily better than the previous carcharodontosaurid from the last DLC pack. How to unlock: Have a high reputation with the Entertainment Division on Isla Pena. (Have fun with that). [h1][i]Herrerasaurus[/i]:[/h1] My initial favorite dinosaur in the pack, it’s about time a Triassic dinosaur finally debuted in Jurassic World Evolution. It’s a small carnivore like [i]Proceratosaurus[/i] but substantially larger. The skins aren’t very expressive but that doesn’t necessarily make it bad. As one of the earliest known theropods, its generic look actually works in its favor and is my favorite small carnivore in the game so far. It’s very easy to take care of, as its comfort threshold is 50%, making it one of the most tolerable carnivores. It can be housed with a high population of 22 individuals and pack up to 5 of its kin. It’s a very safe dinosaur to have. How to unlock: Have a high reputation with the Science Division on Isla Tacano. [h1]Overall verdict:[/h1] All three dinosaurs are worthy additions to Jurassic World Evolution the addition of two small carnivores finally adds the variation JWE needed so badly and Acrocanthosaurus has been a fan favorite many of us have been demanding for a long time. There are only so nitpicks I have with this pack. It’s so much better than the Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack and easily crushes Secrets of Doctor Wu in terms of price and quality. [h1]TL;DR:[/h1] 8.5/10. Great additions to JWE.

  The Carnivore Dinosaur Pack as the name suggests adds 3 new carnivores to the game: Herrerasaurus, Proceratosaurus, and Acrocanthosaurus I will be rating these dinosaurs on a scale of 0-10 along with a rating of how often I personally would put them in my parks. Herrerasaurus: A Triassic predator. It is the only dinosaur in the game from the Triassic period and looks exactly like your childhood drawings of dinosaurs. They can get along with a few other of their kind and have some good skins, What's really interesting about this dinosaur is its unique kill animations on small carnivores and humans. It also has a unique animation for eating from meat feeders as well. One thing I really like about this dinosaur is the fact that it actually uses its hands quite a bit when eating and attacking. A good addition to the carnivore roster. 8/10. Will occasionally add them to my park Proceratosaurus: A small, crested carnivore. It like to live in large packs and is slightly smaller than Velociraptors. Its movement, attack, and human killing animations are taken from the Troodon and its other kill animations are the same as Velociraptor. While these animation do bring it up a few notches it looks really ridiculous when it takes down a hadrosaur single-handedly. It has a good variety of skins and a very distinctive and colorful crest. A decent addition to the small carnivore category. 7/10 Will occasionally add them to my park. Acrocanthosaurus: The thiccest carnivore. It is a returning dinosaur from JPOG. It is a very muscular theropod and comes with an excellent variety of skins. The Acrocanthosaurus has a unique attack animation where it headbutts its opponent and also has a particularly brutal human kill animation where it slams them against the ground before eating them. On top of all of this, its vivid skin turns it into a Thanos dinosaur so there's that. 9/10 Will add them to my park more often than not. Overall, this DLC adds an interesting assortment of carnivores. Each is unique in its own way and adds something to the game. I'd say it's worth buying at full price.
