  Note: This review is being posted late June 2020. According to the Dev's website, they are working on a continuation for this title, and that may fix some of the points I raise here. I also want to make sure to say this - I GENUINELY want this game to be a success and to improve, there are so few good titles in this genre. But, as of right now, this is what I think. I appreciate a good adult literary work, and this game falls under the category of adult visual novel. But as an adult visual novel it fails miserably, particularly in the following: 1. Poor proof-reading - It's a buzzkill for me to encounter spelling mistakes, typos and misplaced or repeated words. Once in a while, that I could understand. But this has the feel of having undergone very limited to no proof-reading at all. It's FULL of mistakes. 2. Endless story - there's barely any actual sex scenes. Just a constant build-up. It's hours upon hours of clicking and getting to nothing. 3. Visually - I mean, the game looks good, don't get me wrong, but the few sex scenes there ARE in the game, are not presented very well visually. Basic stuff, bouncing back between two frames. I've seen better implementations in other games. 4. Poor setup design - What I mean here is the way this game starts out. You're given a choice between two characters, and then a screen in which you name some of the main NPC characters in the game and define who they are in relation to you and what should you use when addressing each other in different situations. The default is friends. Friend this, friend that. But the game, story, dialogue... is about a FAMILY. It's in the very title of the game! Why even give that choice, and if you do - why give the default as friends? Conversations will make NO sense if you use the default settings. One character is obviously the Father, another is the Mother, there are a Brother and a Sister and then there is a Sister-in-law/Aunt and a Niece/Cousin (depending on which of the characters you chose to play). This whole section needs to be redesigned. 5. Unfinished game - The game ends abruptly without a resolution of the plot. This, for a visual novel, is terrible. For an adult visual novel it's worse, since there have been almost no sex scenes up until the break. Now, according to the Dev's website there is an update coming with plenty of more scenes, but who knows what that is and what it contains. Again - for now, this is what I think about it. 6. Unfinished game menu - there are plenty of spots for extras in the menu, but more than half of them never actually manifest themselves. Perhaps they are planning on adding to it in the future, but for now this isn't complete.

  DONT buy and DONT patron this game developer, the developer has abandonned this and still want money for an unfinished game with a lot of bugs and flaws. That will never be fixed. This game should be removed from STEAM and any other 'store', since its now to be considdered a scam to grab your money aswell.

  Pro: Graphics are fine and very expressive. Lots of drama and - when playing the father - a broody and overconcerned person who fights his own urges. A wife who wants a divorce. because she can´t cope with her own problems. A former GF, now with her own daughter, both of which got their very own load of problems and - mostly sexual - quirks. Cons: Story is told in a completely incoherent and disrupted way, leaving you an awful lot to guess. I do not expect a game that is aimed at an adult audience to completely take you by the hand, but this is a bit too much. Feels like the author wanted to create the equivalent of a progressive movie. He did not succeed in this. Sorry folks, I asked for a refund.

  Dual Family Review

  Dual Family is a NSFW visual novel that tells the story of a young man that does random stuff like playing guitar or going to parties to save emo girls from committing suicide…. The premise is weird, but you are here for the NSFW so don’t question it. Be aware that this game is for heterosexual males and has a lot of female nudity and somnophilia related content.

  Questions you might have if you're interested in playing it:

  <*>What is it exactly that you do in the game? It’s a visual novel where you click on stuff, read dialogue, make decisions over random choices that can sometimes pop-out on the screen, explore locations and chat with NPCs in order to progress the story… and you obviously watch short nsfw slideshows. <*> Will it make my eyes bleed? The backgrounds are kind of generic and a bit bland, but the character models look so good. The textures and the clothes are so well done and the faces are not terrible looking. The NSFW bits are slideshows of 3 or 4 frames. No jiggle physics. <*>Does it have a good story? I don’t know, the story of this game is so weird and all over the place. What I know for sure is that from my time playing this game, the story is boring and the characters are bland and whiny. I didn’t finish this game and I will later explain why. <*>Does it have a good soundtrack? None. This game doesn’t even have royalty free music. As someone who usually mutes the OST of this type of games because I find them annoying, I kind of appreciate this. However, I can’t say that having no OST makes this game feel cheap… even for NSFW VN standards. <*>Does it have replay value? I guess… This game has a lot of multiple paths for you to choose. So in theory if you enjoy the story and NSFW bits of this game you can replay it multiple times. That was not my case. <*>Does it run well? My biggest problem with this game is that it constantly throws at me an error/crash screen every 10 minutes. It wasn't something that made me lose a lot of progress or freeze my PC but it was really annoying. <*>Is it fun? Ummm… It’s not the worst experience that I ever had, but you can certainly do a lot better. I’m going to be bland, this is a boring game.

  Is this game worth my hard earned money?

  In its current state… no. This game feels like a decent but very alpha build. From the lack of soundtrack to the constant error screens. This is not a game that I honestly recommend to anyone. The story is boring and random, but I will admit that I didn’t bother finishing this game with how many technical issues I encountered, maybe in a year of so I will try this game again and enjoy the story. Mister devs, please tag this game as early access, this is clearly an unfinished product. Highly recommend to check out some of the other 18+ games that we have reviewed. Rating: 3/10 Unfinished and boring

  Cons: This game is nearly without sound you may also check other games like snowdaze or depraved awakening or acting lessons especially snowdaze with the very horny voice of the main actress shows what sound makes out in a game. Nevertheless its a good game with many xxx scenes but it is not with an ending it just ends abrupt ... Recommended on sale

  Click click click click click, oh, a choice, click click click click click click...ad infinitum, ad nauseum......Not enough interaction, WAY too much reading and clicking. Throwing us a bone occasionally with glimpses of naked flesh is not enough to keep the enthusiasm for the "game" up. A generous 1/10.

  Hard to recommend this game, after learning that the developer has restarted and is going to release an upgraded version. Too bad, though. Game was interesting.

  Updated.... THIS POS DOES NOT BELONG AS ANYTHING BUT A FREEEEEBIE. Worthless, doesnt start, doesnt run, when it DOES RUN every AV screams Ransomware, Scamware, Malware... Steam needs to get out of business of providing scammers with a way to get to your wallet. Why the hll do I have to research the developer on my own time, when buying something from Steam? What will it be next? Weird chems for sale via steam store?! This is the kind of sht you only go through once, never again will I buy anything but AAA title from steam.... I TRUST YOU ZERO. Disgusting and I had been with you since 2007... how LOW YOU HAVE FALLEN STEAM GARBAGE CN pile.... DESPICABLE! Peddling garbage now.... wow

  The whole point of these Visual Novels where you get to choose what happens depending on what path or paths you wish to take is you decide at either a Minor or Major part and thus the whole story is "Driven" by your decisions. However the Major & Minor Decisions are very (Very) rarely offered making the whole thing Pointless. Also depending on which character you choose to play (Father or Son) then there is only one of the Female characters that you can actually interact with. The game is also buggy, the spelling & Grammar are (Is?) very poor and worse of all there appears to be major parts of the story missing. Will give the game 3 out of 10 ( for the Models/Graphic rendering). Being a Dik, My Sexy Roommate & acting lessons are far superior
