  First of all, i am a Dragon Ball fan. What i like in this game are as follows : * Fighting mechanics is superb, Better then the first game * The Parallel Quests are more diversed then the previous game * The story is ten times more interesting then the first game (in my opinion) * The transformation is more balanced, you cant just spam Ultimates, which makes the game less boring, it feels like you actualy get a power boost instead of just using ultimate attacks all the time * The leveling up system, especialy Guru's House, makes the game intriguing And last but not least, The 5 Time rifts ; The 5 time rifts are a very good addition to this game, every race you pick has a advantage from the house the same race is, for instance if you are a Earthling you get more zeni from Hercule's challenges. Now for the cons : * First of all the computer is actualy doing more *nothing* then the first game, they are just standing there, (i must say reviving is the only thing they do very quick) which makes some Expert missions impossible to do offline * The online feature, especialy Online battles and Pq's like to lagg a hard time, the funny thing is i am a blue bar (means 5 bars of connection strength), if i get instanced with a red or yellow bar (1 and 2 bar connection strength) it is almost impossible to play the selected mission, which makes this very frustrating atleast for me Now for the final conclusion ; I give this game a 7 out of 10 because there are more pro's then cons in my opinion. The game is very well balanced in terms of story, parallel quests and online battles. The reason for me to buy this game is simple, got it on sale for 25 euro, 50 euro is way to much for the current state of the game so i advise waiting for it if it is on sale. This was my first review, if this was helpfull to you please consider buying this game 'cause its very good. PEACE

  The online servers are bad, the PvP is bad, and the story is admittedly average at best. But that's not what Xenoverse is about. Xenoverse is about one thing: power fantasy. The entire game is an excuse to make your own Dragon Ball OC and then make them the most broken character imaginable. And it does that quite well. Playing the game really does make you feel like a super strong character fighting to save the universe right with the cast as an equal. The variety of moves, costumes and styles really enforces what this game is. Its a power fantasy. Don't expect balanced gameplay or great story and stay away from online if you aren't playing with friends. Play this game for the joy of watching your OC earthling one shot a god with your finisher.

I've been informed that purchasing this other currency with real money can only be done on console, for some reason. I'll be honest, I did not expect console-exclusive microtransactions, but my opinion on this game remains unchanged.

  Personal Thoughts

  Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is not what I'd call a complex game. It's not the best looking, it doesn't have the deepest character customization, and it is in fact VERY flawed in many ways. However, despite these problems, I still greatly enjoy Xenoverse to this day. Although, I will admit that it's kind of a niche game, and if you're not into Dragon Ball, then I don't recommend it, you probably won't like it. Basically, Xenoverse is a fanservice game, and in that regard I think it works wonders. Oh, and also, there IS a modding community for this game, but I haven't done anything with that yet, so make of it what you will.
