  I read a lot of reviews on Disciples III. A lot were bad however there was a lot of positive as well so I took a chance because I loved Disciples 2 so much. Well let me be another that is in the bad review camp. I also read that D3-Resurrection was the game that should of been released in the first place. They said they fixed most of the bugs. If that is true then I would hate to play the hot mess that was before this one because there is still tons of bugs. Some of those same reviews said how beautiful the graphics were, are they playing the same game as me? Your move points are very low, so just going to get that gold pile that is about 5 inches away takes two turns. Its also really hard to logically see where you can move on the map without triggering combat. Sometimes during combat there is no walking animation, the units just glide as they move. Most of the time when an archer fires the terrain will block the camera view. Really cheesy! The combat is slow, repetitive and boring. The only real tactical dission is what unit to attack. Then it boils down to just exchanging blows and hope you can win. I dont recommend Disciples III. If interested get Disciples 2 as that is the game the fans fell in love with.

  Bugs, bugs, bugs everywhere. The basics of the game are good, but the overwhelming flow of bugs keep the fun out of reach. The game stile of this 3rd chapter of the series has changed a lot, you may enjoy, you may not; but the realy is... it doesnt matter. Sooooo many and anoying bugs can make you hate the game. For real.

  *edit for more details to help people make decisions* At one point, kalypso changed the login procedure associated with this game where we suddenly had to register on their sites to actually play the game. At that point, i entered my key and managed to play a few hours. Those hours were not incredibly fun. The strategy would boil down in having werewolves as soon as possible because all the melee creatures were unable to touch them making most fights trivial. The features they had changed from renaissance didnt look like good ideas balance wise so i ended up quitting the game. Fast forward 5 months and i suddenly cannot login the game anymore because it decided that my online key isn't valid. Nothing has changed in my setup. Since the game wasn't super fun last time around, i gave up. Couldn't recommend the game to anyone because of both the balance issues and the key issues on their server.

  Leader can't do anything 1st round? Casters that don't work 1st round, then work every other 1? Is this some kind of cruel joke? My 1st lvl demon party gets TPK'd by 2 wolves. Twice. The bigger wolf can kill anyone in the party with 1 crit. Another map the new party is surrounded by unbeatable death stacks, except the 1 beast creature that poisons with every attack & also TPK's the party in spite of my caster being on a boost point. The aforementioned leader/caster problem didn't help. That's just unacceptable. Instant ragequit. Yes, I verified the game files; 1 was retrieved, but combat was still the same.

  A part of the reason to play this series is the rich lore and back stories. I understand many modern gamers being disappointed with the heavy graphics load for not much performance. Inherently, action style games feel more competitive. But the gameplay and unwinding story with clever combatants organizations, arranged to dissect your weaker heroes until one can learn softening techniques and creature dynamics, are a good puzzle system. It suites my style of gameplay and occasional 30 minute family/working life opportunities to game. I came away with a great experience as the final plots unite and entwined me through my heroes to a complex mythological universe. I can't have a computer without my DII and DIII heroes resident. Replaying the characters through every 3-5 years will be eternal (for this 60 year old strategist).

  Not as good as disciples II but I would still recommend it for any disciples fan. I think the game was made a little dummer this time but the graphics are better. Story line will put you to sleep. Every map features a lot of objectives. Huge maps to explore. more advanced combat from the one we saw in disciples 2. Here both parties actually can move around during fight which is both good and bad. If a melee unit gets close to your ranged unit it will take heavy damage. If you take out enemy unit that has healing properties you will gain advantage.

  Yes, I can see that the bad reviews were right... clearly flawed game mechanics, some ugly bugs, steep learning curve and a punishing xp grind. I'm just gonna push for another 2000-ish xp so I can evolve my wyvern to the next tier of pokemon or whatever, then I'm done. [Later] Aw yeah, eat my dracolich you paladin *****, can't use your stupid cover points now, can you? Now how much xp do I need to upgrade my skeleton to max tier? 10,000!?! Hmm.. I really should... get some fresh air today... *click* *click* [Much, much later] Whoa, 50 hours played? How many days ago did I buy this game? What day is it even? Better write a review for this game... gotta warn others... yessss... *click* *clicketyclick* *click*

  Ouch, it really pains me to see that a title with such a rich and interesting history (Gallean series) suffered so much after the transition to hexagon open battlefield. The developers apparently thought that all you need to do is leave everything as it was in the previous games. The reality proved them wrong. The result is a bug-riddled game where gameplay is not fun (stupid AI) and full of unbalanced creatures. Okay, the game looks beautiful and is full of the series folklore, but nowadays graphics is not enough for a decent game. There is much unused potential in the title. But I don't recommend it in the current state. I hope they change the dev team and truly ressurect the title.

  I played this one and finally finished the last chapter in the campaign mode. Even if Disciples 3 was estimated far worse than Disciples 2 series defintiely, I will recommand this one, the story was good - especially resurrection - though battles were so many and bored. Still I am grateful to play Discipes series and hope to get better edition someday! 소감 - 본작을 보시는 한국유저들을 위하여 글을 추가로 남깁니다. 디사이플스2를 해보지 않으신 분이라면 별로 추천하고 싶지 않습니다. 디사이플스3 전작에 이어서 몇가지 추가된 컨텐츠는 있으나 기본적으로 전투와 게임진행이 너어어어무 지루합니다. 1회차를 클리어하고 현재 7년이 지났으나 다시 해보기가 망설여집니다.
