  Does not contain the original music. How can I possibly enjoy this game without hearing "YAH YAH YAH YAH YAH" everytime I start driving?

  This version doesn't have YAH YAH YAH YAH YAH in it, but you can put YAH YAH YAH YAH YAH back in it with mods.

  there is no other game, to my knowledge, where a pastor is willing to pay $250 for a 15 second cab ride that is basically a near death experience to ensure he's not late to the church that is literally only 80 metres away from his original location.

  This is a classic gem of a game by SEGA that is loads of fun in all of its crazy taxi driving madness! Unfortunately I can not recommend it in its current form due to it not supporting analog steering with a controller. This makes it very difficult to steer with any level of precision. This is the work of a lazy port to PC specifically, as I know for a fact my copy on XBox 360 does not have this problem. If you do end up purchasing the game I highly recommend using a mod such as "Crazy Taxi Analog Controller Unofficial Fix v1.02".

  Crazy Taxi is an awesome game. It was great in the arcades, and I owned the game on PS2 and Dreamcast, and both versions were excellent. And then there's this version. Sega screwed around with the controls, and the end result is that this version controls horribly and it ruins the entire gameplay experience. Sega also removed the original game's excellent soundtrack and replaced it with some generic music so they didn't have to pay for the song rights. And they redid the sound effects and original voice acting just to make sure this version sucked as much as possible. This isn't the Crazy Taxi we all remember, this is a hollowed up husk of that game Sega is selling to remind you how cool this game used to be, and show you how much it sucks now. That should really be Sega's new moto, 'All of Our Cool Stuff Sucks Now'. Luckily there's a great fan community for this game, and there's a mod to fix the controls so it plays like it should. You can also download the original voice files, sound effects, and soundtrack from the Dreamcast version. Once you've done all the modding, this game is awesome, because it's Crazy Taxi. And Crazy Taxi is a fun little game about extreme driving as you try to pick up and complete as many fares as possible before the timer runs out. It's meant to be played in short bursts, and it's a blast. Unfortunately it doesn't have a two player mode (which would be awesome), and there isn't a whole lot of content in the game, but these flaws have always been part of the game, and it's still a fun game. It'd be great if Sega would've kept on releasing Dreamcast games on PC and given us a version of Crazy Taxi 2, but this is Sega, and Sega hates customers who supported them in the 90s and early 2000s and is only happy when they cry. With the mods this game is a definite buy, especially when it goes on sale. I'm giving it a thumbs down though because I don't believe in rewarding companies, especially big companies like Sega, with positive reviews when the game was released unfinished or broken, and it's only good now because the fan community stepped up and made it right.

  + Both the "Arcade" and "Original" cities from the console ports are included, as well as Crazy Box + Easily runs at 60FPS no problem + Full controller support + All the cheat codes still work (including the bike cheat) - The soundtrack was replaced with some generic music, and some of the real-world locations like KFC and the Levi's store were changed to generic store names. I realize this was probably due to licensing issues, but still a bit of a disappointment. - The game runs up to 1080p, but the 2D elements (eg menus and the in-game hud) look extremely un-optimized and pixelated. If you've ever played an N64 or PS1 game on an emulator at high resolution, it looks sort of like that. - Graphic options are pretty nonexistent, but they include some basic options like anti-aliasing and vsync.
