Animallica คุณสมบัติ

Animallica is an adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world where Earth hangs in the balance, after a wicked, deadly virus was unleashed upon all of its creatures.

The Story:

As the lone survivor in the last conservation center on Earth you must navigate the many available biomes to fulfill your mission of creating a facility responsible for gathering and maintaining the remaining animals on Earth. You have very little to start with but your wits and some meager scavenged supplies.

Craft & Survive:

The world is in chaos, bands of scavenging human raiders and mutated creatures are everywhere. You begin to craft survival gear and weapons along with finding shelter, food and water.

Explore the World:

As you travel using an abandoned hot air balloon and explore on foot or on horseback, you find a world of varied landscapes and opportunities and countless dangers. From the grasses of an African Savannah to tall Alpine mountains, Egyptian deserts, and Asian-themed gardens, the world is still full of beauty, but danger is everywhere.

Save the Animals:

Animals in need are all diseased and must be tranquilized, cured, and tamed if they have a chance of survival. Do you cure and release them, keep them in a more zoo-like setting or in a large park-like sanctuary? The choice is yours, but they need your help!

Build your Settlement:

Will you build a large settlement with all available crafting stations and large, well-furnished houses? There is a flat biome perfect for you. Maybe you would rather be nomadic and use the few crafting stations available through the different biomes while focusing on the animals. You can do that. There is no linear progression and the amount of time you spend gathering, crafting or collecting animals is up to you. You will need to do all of these to succeed, but how and when is your choice.

Trade:

Vendors and traders are scarce but provide valuable items including rare animals for those with coin. Items that they offer for sale can usually be collected and crafted, but do you have the time? Maybe you are missing that one ingredient for a must-have item. They probably have it, for a price.

Played for 9hrs, cleaned 2 islands and set up a nice base. My horse glitched and got stuck in the bridge. I couldn't free him by moving or jumping or anything, couldn't even get off and abandon him. Thought its fine, I set up the auto save feature I'll just go back to the last save sure ill lose some project but i was just wandering round for stray loot for the last 5 mins nothing lost. But how wrong I was, auto save hadn't auto saved..... AT ALL. I hadn't felt the need to manually save because I hadn't left the game and I thought the auto save was set up!! So I was forever stuck in that spot and the only option was to quit and lose NINE HOURS OF GAME PLAY. Couldn't' find any other way out. So all lost. will be a while before I can face coming back. Spectacular game up to that point, can't 100% blame the makers for this problem but just beware, check you auto save or make sure to manually save from time to time. Don't end up like this rage quitter before you.

While I love the concept of the game, it feels like this left early access too early. There are many glitched and bugs, and some are completely game breaking. For example: sometimes your horse will be stuck spinning in circles, the only way to fix it is to reload the game. There are also many balancing issues. It is possible to be locked out of crafting certain stations, simply because you ate a piece of fruit, which you cannot replace, as they are finite. The combat system is also very clunky. Which makes it very hard to fight with melee weapons, ammo for guns is not easy to come by, so it leaves you in a hard spot. The concept of the game is amazing, and the gameplay (and freedom you have in it) is entertaining enough. It just feels too rough around the edges for a game that is fully released.

I was SO excited to find this game, but it really just fell short. The concept is amazing, but after the initial story sequence it starts to feel very empty and underdeveloped. It is also extremely glitchy in most aspects of gameplay, but especially in the combat mechanics which is frustrating. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to where and when you find certain resources for crafting which results in a really dull resource gathering experience overall (ie just wander around until the item you're looking for spawns in a random place). Also noticed a general lack of leveling/progression of any kind. I would love to see this game developed further and the glitches fixed because I think it could be a fantastic game for people who love open-world and crafting/building games. It's just not there yet. I am glad that I only paid $15 for it on sale because if I had paid any more I would be feeling very ripped off. As it stands, I will cross my fingers and hope for some updates, and check back later.

Ehhhhh....This is a wobbly thumbs up for me. I'd like to come back to this one. I did sink 50+ hours into it, which to me says there's something here but it's just lacking a lot of polish. Pros:

Beautiful vast settings to explore.
Many points of interest to loot.
Rewarded for your curiosity!
Deep pockets to hold lots of loot and survival supplies.
Freedom to build anywhere.
Cons:

Grass is up to your neck, often making enemies and collectible animals tough to see. Frequently felt a bit claustrophobic running around trying to see.
The horses are glitchy yet intended to be used as your primary mode of transportation. They run great on flat ground but will "trip" over (get caught on) the slightest bump on the ground. Uphill is frustrating. Downhill is a absolutely scuffed. They act like they are falling/skidding.
Speaking of horses - you can get injured by enemies on the horse but you can't fight while on the horse. By the time you come to a full stop and press the key to dismount, the enemy is on top of you and you are always facing some weird direction and it takes a moment to get your bearings.
The friendly capture-able dogs in the game started making scary attack noises so I didn't want to capture them anymore because I was afraid they would do that at my base.
Speaking of animals at the base...all my cats meows started syncing up so every time I was at home crafting and sorting they would all meow at the same time.
Bear traps are jump scares. The sound they make is way too intense and abrupt. Equally - enemies often jump scare you as they make no noise until they are on top of you. I play a lot of horror games. I was jump scared by this game way more often than phasmophobia could ever dream of.
Lack of a map for these giant(!!!) biomes. The mini map is awful. It only serves as a compass to point you toward your horse or hot air balloon.
NPC's are decorations. They do not interact with you. They are all men. You can shop at some of their booths but there is no dialogue.
What I hope to see in the future:

A button in chests to pull all the items in that current chest from your inventory. This would make sorting less tedious.
NPC's that are women. It's fantastic that your playable character is a woman. It would be nice if she could wear some clothes and armor that aren't suited for Laura Croft.
Walls? I was confused that I could craft a bunch of doors but not walls. Perhaps I didn't didn't unlock that crafting station yet.
More small decor like curtains and vases. A lot of the large pieces of furniture come pre-cluttered. It would be nice to have that all separated so that I could clutter things myself.
Contamination detector - 3 of my worlds are at 95% contaminate free. Perhaps a one time use detector that requires a lot to craft to point you in the right direction would be helpful. I ran around the desert and rechecked all POI's for two hours one day. I don't want to spend my time gaming on hide and seek.
I bought this game on a whim because I saw it for 85% off and figured, since I'd just gotten a paycheck, what the heck, I'll splurge a smidge. I'm...well. I got what I could have expected for 2.99. This game doesn't feel like a finished product. As far as models and NPCs, the animal models look passable standing still, but any movement proves that they're wonked out on the cannabis you can find on farms or greenhouses, and they often look like they're trying to run on ice covered in oil, because their speed doesn't match their strides. The NPCs don't fare much better, as a good 80% of them are the same bald, half blind, mute, slouching man. Survival is pretty easy. Not once did I actually struggle to find anything to eat or drink- the abandoned buildings often have farms and water pumps that you can refill on. Complicated crafting is a different story though- there's no way to distinguish forageable plants from non-interactive ones until you walk up to them, no way to find specific plants from a distance, no truly distinctive landmarks, and on many maps, the grass is nice to look at...until you want to find small animals or smaller plants, which immediately get lost. The Lore is...interesting. At first I thought I was dealing with zombies, then I read the description of the game and thought I was handling some kind of wasting plague, then in-game I heard about a scientist or whatever and I thought that there was some nuclear fallout going on, but then I picked up a journal that apparently belonged to the Vague Big Bad Scientist and the guy had apparently gone dimension hopping and brought back a parasitic alien spawn that releases some kind of Go-Nuts Pheromone/Mist that takes over your brain for the alien queen from the other dimension. Beyond the occasional scrap of paper, however...you don't actually get much story or lore. From the four and a half hours I spent in the game, I wasn't hunting animals or crafting, I was just scrounging for survival necessities and trying to explore maps to find more context clues, and I didn't find a whole lot that really made me feel connected to the world. And now, for my biggest gripe....for how titanic the maps are, there is NO ACTUAL MAP, MINI OR OTHERWISE. The Mini-Map is basically a compass, because it only shows where your horse is, where the exit to the other maps is, and NOTHING ELSE, and as far as I could tell, there is no overworld map. It honestly has an immense amount of potential, because I'm sick to death of "oh woe, you are the last survivor, and someday you will die and everything will be ruined forever", and I'm also sick of post apocalyptic worlds that are all brown and lifeless, and the idea of finding a cure for the....... Vaguely Described Thing That Needs a Cure and rehabilitating the wildlife around you is a breath of fresh air. It's just...executed badly. I wanted to like the game, I wanted to be able to recommend it- I truly did, but in it's current state, for the experience you get out of it, it only feels worth the 2.99 I paid for it while it was on sale.

This game was on my wishlist for a while, and when it went on sale for such an amazingly low price, I scooped it up. The poor reviews had me worried. For the life of me, I can't understand the negative reviews. Does the game have some bugs and glitches, yes. They are so minor, they don't matter much. There are so many positives about this game, I don't have the words to do them justice. I love games like ARK, Valheim and 7 Days to Die. This game is right up there with them. There is so much to do in this game, it's overwhelming. You have many options on how you want to play and make the 20 lands your own. Yep, 20 maps and they are beautiful. There is a map that makes you feel like you are on an African safari. The animals are adorable and so well done. So you can't feed them, big deal. They roam around and look more realistic than animals in most other games. You can have them as companions too. The best part is there are 3 modes- normal with combat, peaceful and creative. I started with normal mode but decided peaceful was the better option for me. There is so much to discover, and you get to roam the lands with a horse. I'm only about 27 hours in and I can see easily hitting hundreds. My only regret is not picking this game up sooner. What a gem!

I read a ton of positive reviews about how this game is wonderful for so many people, and after 60 minutes of playing.... I'm just not sure I received the same product? I'm so lost and I have no idea what's going on? I don't even know what to do or what the hell is in this game. It looks and handles like some dev got really high one afternoon, and just threw together a bunch of random game engine assets. I guess you can go around and gather things and craft them and maybe build? I have no idea, this game makes no sense and there's not really any guidance at all. I've played tons of survival/crafting games and was just looking around for a new one to spend some time on, and found this on sale for $2. My only review is "What the f@#! is this?" I can't even say it's bad, I just have no idea what's going on. The whole experience felt like a fever dream, and I had to walk around and go outside to make sure I wasn't just like...dreaming? Like this is real? Honestly almost a thumbs up for just the surreal experience in this game. I won't recommend anyone else get it and play it though... Everything in the game just feels like random assets put together, terrible animations and extremely simple AI. Also why is my sound backwards? Like enemies to my right, sound like they are to my left. And yes, of course I checked that I had my headphones on right... Plus you kinda just get thrown in this generic world and there's things around to I guess gather and craft, but into what? And why?

A very interesting concept, but with subpar execution. The game feels buggy, like an early access alpha. The music is repetitive and the sound effects in general are buggy. I feel like I'm playing a FTP game. I really wanted to like it, and I will continue playing mainly for the achievements, but at this state, I cant recommend it in good faith...
