  缺点： 1）剧情乱七八糟 一堆伏笔 主角身份交代得不清不楚 也许有前传还是后传我遗漏了？ 2）升级效益不高 30封顶限制了成长 3）boss难度乱七八糟 打法千篇一律 后期boss进场必须破防+破法 否则就是刮痧 4）世界地图大而空洞 有几个场景像是为了凑剧情做出来的 鬼宅 马庄 就是进去过个剧情 没了 5）野怪掉的装备只差别只在于血蓝回复量的差别 装备强化成长效益不高 6）护驾无引导 相信很多人直到通关了或者后期才知道有这个功能 优点： 1）技能特效还算用心

  遊戲還可以，但玩法可沒說明，必需靠直覺來硬幢。遊戲裡的提示不是很明確，有己次我得亂猜才能看找到尋求的目標。遊戲難度還可以接受，遊戲比起上個月侠客风云传前传好玩多了。故事和畫風我覺得廷有意識的，遊戲有個缺點哪就是你沒能用方向指南來轉視線角度邊的有時後難於觸摸此地要採摘的東西或材料。 雖然我不是中國人或外地華僑民族，但如果是武俠遊戲我還是廷支持不管是從中國的也好還是台灣的我都不再意，最終如果遊戲的劇情可以給到我像有金庸或古龍小说的感覺和想像，我二話不說就會收集起來。 所以我的結論是可以支持本遊戲。

  I am playing this game in Chinese using English Windows 10 and everything works fine and well. I had a wonderful time, and have been playing non-stop for the last 5 days. The game is so immersive that it is hard to stop. What I love about this game is a preponderance of quests. Many of the quests are event / location based. When you are at a specific location, or talking to a specific person, and event will be triggered which advance the quest to the next stage. However, it is also possible to miss certain side quests. Some side quests might be disabled before/after you reach certain stages of the main quests. This is the tricky part as I have missed a few quests during my first playthrough. Currently I am nearing the ending stages of my first playthrough and I am taking down notes of the various events. This game is interesting enough for me to do a second playthrough, where I will try to learn all the ultimate skills, get all the ultimate weapons and armor and do all the possible sidequests. I know this is not going to be easy; however this game certainly is fun enough for me to try. Currently this game is not available in English yet and you have to understand Chinese in order to play this game. I have about 10+ Chinese games on steam, and I highly recommend this particular game to anyone who can read Chinese and love RPGs.

  Shorter than current English-available CRPG on Steam but packs with good (and expected) CRPG's elements like fancy, eye-pleasing attacks, good story and not too obnoxious protagonist. English translation is much better than Tale of Wuxia series imo. Oh and it runs rather smooth on my toaster computer (on highest setting no less). But Here are things I dislike: the difficulty spike at the beginning. Maybe I'm just bad and stupid but I ran into 2 wolves and barely get out alive; no auto-saves. I'm spoiled by auto-save games...; a bit grindy if you want your base to look like a 5 stars hotel. And I would love to see more side-quests which involve the playable characters more. Overall it's a great game for such a price. Definitely, recommend! PS: please bring more of your games to Steam, devs!

  TLDR; If you like a decent but fairly standard RPG and are also into wuxia/xianxia then give this a shot. If you're an english speaker who's into wuxia/xianxia and RPG games than this is pretty much a must have, but only considering there's like 5 of those translated and on steam (I know because I've played them all). While Tales of Hongyuan wasn't revolutionary, or even really exceptional, it was a relaxed and enjoyable RPG. Characters and storyline were entertaining but I never felt really attached to either, I mostly just enjoyed it for the xianxia setting. If you're used to this genre it was exactly what you'd expect; high fantasy in an ancient Chinese setting. The game had lovely classical Chinese music that complemented the setting/atmosphere very well though. Combat was just a generic turn based RPG system. I find it disappointing that developers still think that's acceptable in the year of 2017+. The dungeon design was pretty well done however. Linear enough that I didn't find them annoyingly complex, but not so linear that I found them boring and one dimensional. The one saving grace was the upgradable player base mechanics. Despite being called Lonely Island, by the time you finished upgrading the base it didn't feel lonely at all after being populated with various useful NPCs like shopkeepers and craftsmen. It had it's own optional storyline that was fun although not very in depth. It always felt nice to come back to the player base just to rest up, do some shopping, and talk to the NPCs. There's a huge optional dungeon underneath the base that is really a bunch of dungeons in one. There's an optional super secret not so secret overpowered boss at the end who you can beat for some overpowered gear; so if you're one of those completionists who have to 100% everything in an RPG then have fun with that! As usual with these types of optional bosses, once you've beaten it you've pretty much beaten the game since nothing else can touch you after that point and you won't be strong enough to beat him unless you do a ton of grinding anyways. Final Score: 7/10

  Wow, this game totally exceeded my expectation. First thing first, let me thank the developer from translating this game, it allows non-chinese like me to enjoy the game. This game is, imho, easily the best chinese language game on Steam. Considering there's not that many non-rpgmaker jrpg on PC, this is highly recommended for people who like traditional jrpg and chinese artstyle. I give this a solid 8.5/10. + pretty hand drawn graphics. Overall it has really good graphics for a $13 brand new game. + nice combat animation. + relatively bug free. Haven't encountered one yet. + can save anywhere. + no random combat, you can see them and avoid encounters. + decent story so far. + feels clean and not cluttered unlike that Chinese paladin game. + solid turn based jrpg combat, no real time nonsense. + branching side quests. Choices that affects the story. + high production value for its price tag. - terrible translations, but still understandable. - some typos. - limited amount of skills. - limited amount of customization, just equipments and not skill. - rather simple mechanics. - can't rotate camera, stuck in top down isometric view. - rather short compared to other chinese or japanese rpgs or lengthy crpg like divinity. Would definitely buy the developer's next game.

  I don't usually like crpg's and am of the opinion that they came about (yes, I'm gonna say it) "back in the day" because of the lack of a good control pad. I have to say this game is an exception. It's great fun (so far) very responsive and a neat little battle system that fits the genre well, I like the main character and the story behind him though the support characters seem a little bland. The English translation is terrible but just about understandable enough to keep you informed and I believe that it is a work in progress and so should improve. So far definitely recommend.

  Not the best but is a good game. The gameplay kind of like some old JRPG game like FF9. The quest system is interesting, from my point of view the sub Q story are even better than the main Q. The main story kind of lacking something, its kinda short and the char developement throughout the game quite shallow (especially the ending that leave a bitter taste for me). When I bought the game its have many bugs that effect the gameplay. However the support from the developer I can say that is one of the best around here. When people post it on discussion page, the developer will immediately reply and make a small patch on the next day to fix the bug. Its rare to see developer that care about there game this day. Especially after how Tales of Wuxia developer treat english user community.
