  **SPOILERS OF LAST CHAPTER QUEST INCLUDED** Brand new player here without tons of hours farming behind me. I did enjoy this DLC for the most part. The overall music is top notch along with the expansion of the story for new characters. With that being said, the difficulty of this DLC felt like it was geared towards the players that have been playing for much longer while waiting for the DLC to come out. I ended up needing to farm for roughly 4 days to get upgraded enough just to beat the restaurant mission. This trend tends to continue for a casual new player throughout the entire chapter 7. As a new player I also didnt do all of the violent missions since I did not have to wait for the DLC to come out. As of now, with meeting the new enemy in the final mission, I won't be playing anymore until that is fixed. The destron is impossible to deal with as a average player that had no previous interaction with them. I feel like it is a honestly terrible design to have that character in the last chapter like that. Especially since a new player, playing on normal, didnt do the previous violent and it's their first time seeing this enemy type. It was off putting enough that even when more of this game comes out, I won't be playing nor recommending it until that is fixed. I suggest just removing the destron entirely and adding 2 more of the giant bicrons instead. You shouldn't have to kill 40 mobs just to come across something you literally need to respec for and know about ahead of time so it isnt unkillable.

  I know I shouldn't look a gifted horse in its mouth but... after many hours I have recognized things I am not alright with. Neither with this DLC nor with the way it affects the game. Story: I won't mince words. It opens a lot more questions than it gives answers. I won't say more to avoid potential spoilers. It ends with a cliffhanger and Alisa and Bianca make NO PROGRESS in their quest whatsoever. Gameplay: From this DLC on, the game turns completely one-dimensional. Deal absurd damage before the enemy does. Enemy teams come in large numbers and hit hard. We're talking both player and enemy dishing 5-digit damage against an average of 3.000 HP. Why? Why do we need 300% critical hit damage? Not to mention the standardization of a 100% hit chance or higher. Any investment in dodging becomes completely redundant and dodge as a mechanic becomes obsolete, unless we're talking guaranteed evasion from masteries and sets like Cover Move, Lightning Reflexes and Darkness Hunter. From a game with tactical diversity, it devolves into something very similar to Valkyria Chronicles and its exploitation of the Scout class. This is just one man's opinion and unlikely to be welcomed. But I wanted to share it all the same. Thank you for your hard work, Dandylion, but please consider making "Banished children" not being all about obliteration-level damage.

  Just to make it clear I love the base game, almost everything about, just not this DLC. It's absolutely unbalanced, it makes you feel like that all your time making your party strong up to this point was completely wasted. I finished the base game on Cruel (switched to cruel after first 15-20 missions) and with High Risk High Return option turned On. Base game was hard and challenging but was also fun and was potentially easy when played right. I spent many hours trying to find the most powerful mastery set combinations and yet in this DLC I felt like it actually doesn't matter, the most tanky characters get one-shoted by everything and most enemies have 90% block chance, Final resistance and they can kill you on your turn just because you hit them. I actually felt like this DLC was ment to be a spit in the face for everyone that invested some time and was feeling happy about their achievements in-game. That covers the gameplay part, now for the story part: women's empowerment, it just makes me sick, like really sick, I'm not an enemy of some strong female characters if they are well written and are interesting and most importantly that they are not presented in an insolent manner. And sadly this DLC's story is quite the opposite. So well at least it's for free but anyway, don't bother with it.
