  This game is for all Ferrari fans that just enjoy driving and watching the good car details on every model. The driver physics are not perfect, maybe is made for play with a wheel, but If you liked SHIFT games from NFS you will also enjoy this game since they were made by the same gaming studio. The speed feeling is awesome, speccially on F1 cars, every car in the game feels also different in terms of brake, handling and acceleration, this is a really good point. The graphics are good on the cars, they have a lot of details, but this is no the same on the tracks, specially on the trees they look so bad! Buy this game only on a sale

  Dreadful in my own experience in terms of reliability which has led me to write the review within my first hour. These crashes only seem to occur when I have my separate gear shifter peripheral, the Thrustmaster TH8 RS attached. Poor mouse control of menus on pausing during race. Steering wheel peripherals function in one race, then completely stop for another race Switching tabs onto desktop causes the game to stop responding No save button for controls - if the game crashes on your first ever race after spending time setting up controls, you lose it all Seems okay graphically, and as it is a Ferrari licensed game, it does have the great car models and good sounds, except for the modern F1 cars which use a generic V8 sound commonly heard in rFactor 1.

  Gorgeous cars. Difficult to control corners with many of the cars. Frustration mounting. Rage initiated!!! Great! Another chair sticking into a wall legs first. That's the 4th chair. I will finish this game! Supposing it takes a hundred chairs, so help that wall...I will win the final trophy. Is there a final trophy? I don't know! The game just tea bags me. I will be standing defiant, one with the universe knowing I am master of my gaming domain. Don't say a word and spoil this for me. No, I will be standing proudly beside the other 2 players that won this game...ahem...two developers. I so want to give this a thumbs down, but Ferrari. Play with friends, so they can tackle you when you are about to flip the sofa or throw a table through a window. 6.5/10

  Great game , love the Ferrari cars , the classic tracks, the classic clothes and great interiors. I enjoy the racing and good challenges.

  Test Drive Ferrari is not as bad as reviews says mostly i think its mixed rated because of the broken Windows Live crap but like with every game that have it you can bypass it with a simple file: Pros: + 50 ferrari cars (car selection on them are great) + campaign can be somewhat fun (35-40 hours long) + graphics are alright (cars looks great and textures for its time only the trees looks bad) + car sound are great + 13 tracks (39 varriations) Mixed: +-+ handling can somewhat fun but it isnt not really my thing it feels like an slightly improved one from Shift 1 and Shift 2 Unlreashed more on the grippy side but still kinda stiff on most of the cars +-+ carrer mode/campaign can be boring even there are a few game modes also some races feels to long because of the slow Ai/Bots it gets boring then Cons: - some shutters here and there not fully smooth - bad draw distance (op up stuff is annyoing) - bots/ai arent bad they are just to slow even on hard - collison with other cars is still a joke like the other games from the studio Not much to say here it isnt a popular game or anything also nothing speical in this game except some few ferrari cars you never saw in a racing game and also it never goes never on sale alteast i didnt know it. If you like Arcade racing games like NFS Shift 1/2 or GRID than you can find some fun in this game.

  Very, very poorly optimised game. When this is coupled with the fact that you have little control over the graphics (X360 port) and the fact that there always seemed to be quite a bit of input lag on games using the Shift engine, it makes the game unplayable on a lot of mid-range laptops. Even when playing at a high framerate this game has stiff controls, poor AI and a slightly lackluster career mode. Still, the models are fantastic to look at and the soundtrack's okay.

  Do you like games that dont work anymore, or games that never worked properly anytime in history? You sir or madam are in for a treat! Almost Ferrari racing brings you all the thrills, but mostly spills of driving a car with wheels made from hard, slippy plastic, and driving that car a road made from more slippy plastic. With all new anti-touch gravity slinging system, should you clip another car you'll be sent spinning off the track. And finally our all new doesnt work networking game club system will allow you not be able to log on or find any players or servers. To sum up: Do those dishes need washing? Well they wont wash themselves, so go do that instead.

  I love Ferrari's and I love racing so this game was a must have. I haven't gotten deep into the campaign, but what I have driven of it, it has been fun and challenging. Although, the game isn't really a simulation, I don't mind as sometimes I just want to hop in and drive and not worry about set ups. So if you only enjoy full blown simulations this game is probably not for you. When you start the campaign game you start your career when Ferrari started their in racing. It is so enjoyable hopping into the old cars and taking them for a spin, then to start progressing to different models as well as feeling differences in the handling etc, really keeps the game fresh, in my opinion. You move from race to race in the campaign, each race is different and sometimes you aren't even in a official race, sometimes you are qualifying for a race or driving head to head with one other driver. Each race has two "goals or time qualifications" to meet, once you meet them you may move on to the next race. Even though the game is older, the graphics are still very nice looking. There are 3 different levels of difficulty and when you finish a campaign race on each difficulty you get the "medal" for that difficulty. The sounds are ok for a racing game as well. The game was originally a Games for Windows Live release, some gamers may experience issues getting the game setup. I however, had no issues at all with the set up even with the GFWL part of it. I already had a Microsoft/xbox live account and had no frustrations whatsoever with getting it all hashed out and running. I recommend this game if you love to just race and especially if you love Ferrari's, but I can't recommend this game at it's current price of 19.99, definitely get the game on sale for 9.99 or less.

  Yet another gem game destroyed by Windows Live. This time it requires Windows 10 and this piece of abandonware. On Win 8.1 i was still able to get past the GFWL login with the help of the xbox client. 19.90€ for this is incredible beyond belief. Some people are able to strip this away. Some are not. It seems to me the luck has turned and my attempts nowadays end to crash. Not surprising though. Old game and all but still. i find it incredible that this is still sold today.
