  Gish meets Katamari? Mutant Blobs Attack is a simple puzzle platformer where you eat stuff to get bigger so you can eat bigger stuff in order to progress through the short levels. The gameplay is fun, the controls are intuitive, it's mildly challenging in certain spots, and there's kind of a story thrown in as well. It's satisfying for at least one play through, maybe more if you want to go achievement hunting.

  Nice casual collectathon platformer. Contains platforming challenges, puzzles, secrets. There are multiple interesting mechanics: eat things smaller than you to grow, attract and detract from things, control some mechanisms with telekinesis. There are also parts where you use a jetpack instead. And some relaxed top-down levels. The presentation is pretty nice and comical. Loaded with puns and game references. ★★★★★★★★☆☆

  A much better game when it's being a puzzle platformer/Rosie O'Donnell simulator than when it requires you to rush through areas on a timer or you need to do precision platforming (or both). This mostly has to do with how you are controlling a giant mutant blob. Precise is not exactly how I would describe how it moves and controls, which is fine, but don't make me try and steer this thing around instant death traps please. It is also an EXTREMELY short game. Even trying to get every collectible in sight and the hidden pals I still beat it in under 4 hours. It won't affect my score of this game though as I don't generally dock games for length, unless it's extremely egregious given the price/style of game. But it is still worth noting. Despite the flaws it is still an immensely fun and charming game. The final level is hilarious. 3/5

  Omg, buy it !!! One of the best platformers combined with some deadly action that I have ever played!! ^_^ You are a fucking mutant blob that eats stuff, solves puzzles, and can use a rocket to boost your speed, magnetize, float, use control machines etc! And it also got a bit story in it & nice music that won't go on your nerves! Plus achievements, rankladder and finding your blob friends! Addicting game :D!

  In Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack you'll play as a blob with the objective to eat everything in your path. The story starts out with the Blob being studied in some facility along with its blob friends, and staging an escape in order to seek revenge. Once it escapes, it starts eating everything in its path, starting from small things like pencils and such, and growing larger the more it eats. I wouldn't say it's a great story, but I wouldn't say it's bad either; it's there to give the game a backdrop for its gameplay. Talking about gameplay, it's pretty straightforward; it plays like a platformer/puzzle mix; you move through the stages eating stuff by simply "walking" over them (not that the Blob really walks, it just slides everywhere), and in some sections you need to reach a certain size before proceeding. There's 24 levels, as well as 5 "mini-games", which are actually smaller levels played from a top-down view. This game comes from the developers of Guacamelee, and just like that game, it's full of pop culture references spread in the background of the levels, which are pretty humorous to spot. The art style itself is pretty nice as well; nothing spectacular, but something colourful to look at. Well, that's all I've got to say for Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack. It's not a really difficult game, but still, I found it enjoyable, so I recommend it.

  It is difficult to point out any cons in Mutant Blob. The visual identity, the soundtrack, the colors and, above all, the charisma are impeccable. A very dynamic puzzle platform where you control a blob whose mission is to devour everything that lies ahead. The gameplay is very fluid, the controls are easy to understand, with interesting mechanics and a great learning curve. Mutant Blob is one of those hard-to-stop games, with each stage finished you want to go to the next one on time. Buy it and you will not regret seeing this destructive and charismatic creature that eats everything!

  8.5/10 - If you've ever watched the movie The Blob, you might get an idea of what Mutant Blobs Attack is about. You start out as a small gelatinous blob alien, and eat things and grow. Now in the movie, the Blob, the creature only ate living organisms (mainly people) to help it grow. In this game, you will ndeed people, but also pretty much any object that is below your size. And when eat enough things, you do indeed grow. Think of this like Katamari Damacy or the cheap clone The Wonderful end of the World, and you'll get the idea. What sets this apart from those though, is that this is also mainly using 2D sidescrolling platformer gameplay as the basis. So what you have here is a great mixture, and one helluva fun game. You'll be going from different areas, and growing larger, and coming across some really nice and inventive obstacles that make use of the different moves, like telekenesis, magnetism, flying, and more. You will also find mini game stages scattered through each of the zones, which put the blob in a top down mode, where he needs to eat his way to the end. Controls are tight and responsive if using a mouse and keyboard, but kind of awkward when using a controller. For the most part, the controller works great, but make sure the mouse is nearby. Some objects are moved with telekensis, and for this, you do need a mouse. A simple fix with Joy2Key will make this a non-existent problem for most players though. If not for this issue, I'd easily give this game a 9.5/10. Buy it now!
