ميزات Road Redemption

Road Redemption is an action racing game where you lead your motorcycle gang on an epic journey across the country in a brutal driving combat adventure.

Earn money by completing races, assassinations, robberies, and other challenges in your path. As you collect loot, you'll upgrade your character, your bike, and your weapons.

One Life To Live

Driving a motorcycle at 100 mph while trying to hit someone with a pipe is dangerous, and death can come quickly. Fortunately, every time you die, all the experience you've collected can be used to upgrade your character, your bike, and your weapons.

In the multiplayer mode, you can work with your friends or let out some road rage on them. It's up to you.

A Truly Epic Quest

Road Redemption takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, ruled by a brutal dictator. Fans of Mad Max will feel right at home here.

After years of bloody street warfare, the country's biker gangs have settled into an uneasy truce.

This period of peace is interrupted when the leader of the country's richest weapons cartel is assassinated, and a $15,000,000 bounty is put on the mysterious assassin's head.

It's up to you and your fellow gang members to chase down the assassin and claim this prize, but you'll have to drive through enemy territory to do so. Every biker in the country wants a piece of that $15,000,000 bounty, and they won't hesitate to take out those who get in their way.

Other Features

  • Online Multiplayer

  • Tons of brutal weapons. This is more Twisted Metal than it is Mario Kart

  • 4-player splitscreen co-op.

  • 2-4 player multimonitor co-op. Every player gets his own screen!

  • Massive, expandable skill tree. Rack in the loot to upgrade your character, your bike, and your weapons.

  • A deep motorcycle fighting system with grabs, kicks, counters, critical strikes, and more.

  • Full support for both mouse & keyboard and gamepad control configurations.

After being a long time console gamer for many years, this was my first Steam purchase after recently getting a PC capable of playing games well. I was hesitant for part with $25 Australian for a game that might have disappointed me, being a Road Rash fanboy who occasionally still plays the originals of that series. I couldn't be happier with Road Redemption and I congratulate the developer, not only on how well the've paid homage to the old school Road Rash series, but how they've even improved on the formula by adding so many weapons, guns, different vehicles and the open-ended promise of more content. I noticed a multiplayer update has recently been added which i'm excited to play. It would be cool if some more basic racing modes with just melee weapons and longer, scenic tracks were added - and some livestock and pedestrians to brutally tear apart under my motorcycle - or whip around the teeth with a chain and then drag them behind my bike. This is exactly the kind of game which is making people like me switch back to PC. Well done and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Buy this game if ya grew up playing Road Rash, ya will not be disappointed. The main reason for this review is not, in fact, to rave about this great game, but to rave about the amazing customer support from the developers. I've been dealing with a lot of "big" companies' customer support, and getting terrible customer support (including having my requests shut down with no communication - thanks, Sony). So when I emailed the developers of Road Redemption regarding issues around a 32 bit win7 4GB machine, not only was I highly surprised to see a responce within 4 hours (give or take 20 minues) but having an actually answer (in this case, I was informed that the issue had been noticed and the game would be patched in a few hours). In one contact, the developers not only smashed my expections, I now use them as an example of a company doing it right. So, developers, please please please, keep up the great work.

23 Hours, 100% My experience with Road Redemption: My game crashed plenty of times. My game crashed on the final turn of the final level. I repeatedly got my ♥♥♥ kicked. I got kicked off of bridges and into oncoming traffic. I didn't get to swing a chain I fell between buildings and off of rooftops multiple times. I got stuck on car bumpers. I emptied entire clips into the sky trying to aim. I got the Rainbow Road song stuck in my head at work. I couldn't adjust the difficulty settings. I was launched into the air by highway grenades over and over. I was challenged. I maxed out my character. I kicked just as much ass as was previously kicked upon me. And then some. ... and I loved all 1380 minutes of it. Every crash report I sent, I received a response from the developer Ian with his phone number attached within the hour. Even at 5am. Anyone who says these guys don't care about their game, don't update the game or have abandoned the game couldn't be further from the truth. This game and this Dev team is a testament to how Early Access should be done. LONG LIVE THESE DEVS

This is a great successor to Road Rash. I found it instantly familiar and addictive. The physics are cartoonish, hilarious, and wildly forgiving. In other words, very similar to the old Road Rash games. A motorcycle brawler with realistic physics? That wouldn't work. Combat would be rare and damn near impossible to engage in while driving 200+. The unrealistic physics in this game are a deliberate choice, one that allows and promotes all of the high speed brawling and breathless close-calls that made the old Road Rash games so much fun. IMO, Road Redemption does a better job at feeling like a 3D Road Rash, than Road Rash 3D for PS1, and its N64 sibling. Despite the familiar controls and concept, and the theme of outlaw bikers literally murdering eachother on the highway, Road Redemption has a number of differences from the games that inspired it, particularly within the Campaign mode. This is a Rogue-Lite campaign, with permadeath, but also permanent upgrades that will make the game easier as you continue to ride and die, so you should find yourself progressing further along with each run. There seem to be a lot of unlockable bikes and riders, providing incentive to keep at it. There is also a level of insanity here that is well above and beyond what we saw in the Road Rash series. For starters, the weapons are more varied and brutal, and come in 4 categories: Swords, Melee weapons (long and short), explosives and firearms. The civilian cars react to the chaos, and crash in ridiculously violent ways on the road in front of you, forcing you to dodge flipping cars. I don't remember that happening in Road Rash, but I like it. The tracks are littered with dangerous shortcuts, like ones that require flying over the crumbled ruins of bombed-out highway overpasses. There are entire tracks where you race across the tops of sky scrapers (Twisted Metal 2 anybody?) Thankfully, your motorcycle has rocket boosters now. Not crazy enough yet?
Ok, sometimes cars will just fall out of the sky randomly by the hundreds, for no reason (I think they call it a "Hallucinogenic Chemical Zone"). One of the rival gang leaders is a fricking cybernetic android that wants to bang you. And apparently, at some point, you get to meet Satan. I haven't seen all of the content yet.
My one critique as of now is the campaign seems rather short. It is difficult (and fun) enough that it should be replayable, especially with the upgrade tree and unlockable bikes/riders. But I would like to see some different campaign types, e.g. something similar to the "Big Game Mode" found in Road Rash, in which you simply race for money through increasingly difficult classes, and have the opportunity to save/load and restart races. I like the Rogue-Lite idea quite a lot, but I think adding a classic mode would be a relatively easy way to expand gameplay options, and truly resuscitate the genre. (ALSO: BRING BACK THE CHAIN!) TL;DR: Road Redemption is wildly fun, and succeeds in recreating the white-knuckle intensity of Road Rash 1-3, while adding some fresh ideas. But it begs to be expanded upon, e.g. by adding more campaign content and new game modes. I recommend listening to Soundgarden while playing this game.

So I really don't get why this game has negative reviews? It's exactly what it pretends to be, it's not a simulator it's not an open world mad max style game. It's a remake of a classic with sweet 1080p graphics and really simple gameplay. Yes it's repetitive by today's standards, but ALL games from back then were. For me it's an awesome way to pay homage to Road Rash. My first stint in this game was 3hrs, longer than most AAA games can hold my attention. Yes the physics are off a bit, steering is problematic and far from realistic, especially at low speed, but, I don't care. And you shouldn't either. It's typical of games from the genre this is based on. A real flashback for me to gaming back in the 80's and 90's. Well worth the purchase price. It sucks a bit that campaign progression resets each time you die, but there is a perpetual stat upgrade tree so each time you upgrade your character just a little... I'll definitely be back to decapitate another evil biker. :-)

Despite being labeled as a successor to Road Rash, Road Redemption lacks the delicate balance between combat and racing that the best Road Rash titles hit so well. The focus is almost purely on combat and the racing is merely window dressing. Its melee combat is deeper than its inspiration, but the addition of guns and explosives quickly rips away any complexity or skill. Bland tracks, gimmicky mission design and a grind-heavy roguelite progression system make the experience grow tedious quickly. Redemption just doesn't have the depth, charm, or fun factor to sustain itself or carve a unique identity.

I haven't played it long, but it's thoroughly fun and brings back the same innocent :) mindless arcade violence of Road Rash from back in the day. 10/10

Nothing like Road Rash. There needs to be a neutral button as I can't really say thumbs up but I don't want to say thumbs down. However thumbs down is more appropriate. I've wanted this game for a long time. It lacks everything that made Road Rash great. Road Rash was a racing game with combat elements. This is a combat game with racing elements. A lot of the levels are just killing instead of getting to the finish line. No real punishment for wrecking (or bad riding really) and having to shame it back to your bike. You can't always just blast past the other bikes. They end up matching your speed and forcing you to interact. And the brakes don't seem to work too well while this is happening. The firearms and grenades make it a bit too easy. The dynamite and C4 is pretty cool though. You can basically just kill all the other racers (sometimes within a minute) and just coast to the finish line. no speed loss either for sitting straight up on the bike and using one hand while holding a gun with the other. Can't steal weapons from other bikes. No chain like Road Rash had which was my favorite weapon. The controls are bit lame. For your melee weapons, separate buttons for left and right side but kicking is like road rash where you move in the direction so it can get slightly out of the zone and well kicking isn't satisfying at all really. The aiming is terrible. Instead of releasing the right stick to reset your camera while aiming it just stays where you left it and you have to either switch back to melee or rotate the camera back to where it was which isn't easy. One other thing that I thought was not cool is no kind of cut scenes like the Road Rash titles had. Silly little cut scenes of character cheering with bikini girls when you come in first or humiliation type when you don't finish at the top. I like the idea of the skill tree but it's still kind of meh. Same with the permadeath. That could have just been modernized and had a proper save and no bike upgrades is pretty lame. As others have said it feels like it's never left early access and it's being sold as a full title. I only paid a few bucks for it on sale but I would have been a bit peeved to have paid full price for this in it's current state. I really thought it was cool at first but the more I've played it the more of where it falls short shows through. I've tried to get into the multiplayer several times and have never been able to participate. Just send the reservation to the server and never puts me into a race. Looking it up on the net, appears this is the norm. It isn't terrible but seems like cash grab trying to compare it to Road Rash. Maybe as time goes by it will get fleshed out more. If you haven't played Road Rash, you will probably like it much better than someone who has. To the game's credit I will say it does have multi monitor support and it has never crashed on me. Ryzen 7 2700 and RX590.

Reminds me a lot of road rash. Takes me back to childhood and hours of the WildThing2000 lol. A little vulgar but in todays time what isn't? It was cheap enough and I've gotten a few hours in it. Don't forget to use your xp and $$$ to make it so you don't have to restart from the beginning every time. Fun time burner :)

So for those of you who remember Road Rash fondly, this is the game for you! It brings the ageing classic right up to date with great physics and graphics and a fast pace of game play that will bring many hours of joy. Hilarity is also found in the many rta collisions you will suffer playing and replaying this game. Overall excellent game. Buy it!
