  You buy this to support the devs, less for the stuff itself, but... Devs, PLEASE fix the Rescue Shield, it doesn't have "FBI" on it like the pictures, I wanna yell "FBI OPEN UP" as I breach and it's just not doing it for me. Immersion ruined.

  When you buy this Supporter Edition, you are financially backing perhaps one of the only developers left who have a vision for their game, and will stick to it no matter what happens. It's a rare thing these days, and it's worth supporting.

  When I heard about the Team17 controversy I upgraded my original purchase to supporter edition. This game needs to happen. I proudly support VOID and their willingness to portray a difficult raw topic in a manner that doesn't glorify it, but glorifies you for stopping it as effectively as possible. Keep up the fantastic work VOID. EDIT: Kotaku you can also consider this two, very clear, in your face, middle fingers.

  I upgraded when i heard that the devs were happy to let there publisher Team17 leave in order to keep the vision of the game true. Not only is that very respectable but is proof that they are not here to get us like EA and Ubisoft and rob us blind but instead make a quality product. I hope only the best and that some how my 60 pounds can help to make that vision come true. If you enjoy this game and want to see it succeed I would defiantly recommend this upgrade but know that it's not for the cosmetics but to help the developers make the game and seeing that they dropped there publisher they need all the help they can get. They clearly are a quality dev team and need all the support they can get. There clearly nothing like 99% of dev teams out there that just want to cash in. Stay true to your quest.

  For what you get it isn't really worth it directly. Its a donation to the developers with a few small trinkets to thank you. The upcoming addon may change that, but I'd assume its cheaper to get separately. However the game is amazing even in this very early state and I'm fairly happy to have helped in its development. What really pushed me over the edge, though, was the hit piece from kotaku. Its entirely malicious, contradictory, and written from someone who doesn't understand the premise and seems upset it isn't easy enough for them to master in 2 hours. Hopefully the support helps remind the devs of the silent majority who like the game as it is, with the pre-release humour it has in its placeholder assets, and that we are happy with the direction the game is going (including the proposed school level). The vocal minority will never have any interest beyond attacking the game, please don't sacrifice one of the most popular games on steam right now for the malicious actors attempting to tear down everything which doesn't conform to their demands.

  I didn't buy this edition for the benefits and loot, but rather to assist Void in their current contentious situation and the loss of their partners. I don't see a problem with the "school" map or situation if it is ever added; it's only controversial because people can't handle reality, and this game is all about realism and real-life situations that can and do occur in our daily lives. We, as citizens, do not appreciate these officers who put their lives in danger to save others. I think adding a school situation is a good way to recognise that it is not a joke, and should be taken seriously. It would also be a good way to educate people on procedures taken in a tough situation like such. Continue to pursue your vision, Void. Don't let a few sceptics ruin it because they can't accept reality.
