  [h1][b]Avoid At All Costs[/b][/h1] EDIT 2.0: I guess the bullet points don't show up on the store page, so you have to actually click on the review to get a cleaner version. Sorry for Steam being trashy. I'm just going to sum up this review in a very large pros v cons list because I feel like that would be best for this game. [list][h1]Pros:[/h1] [*] Unlike the 2nd game, there is no backtracking and instead there are missions [*] The good/bad system is pretty neat and you can get different missions depending on how you decide to behave [*] A majority of the humor is on-par with the 2nd game [*] The models look nice and the voice acting is done very well [*] Some of the missions are very enjoyable and are really fun to play through [*] Ron Jeremy is in the game [/list] [list][h1]Cons:[/h1] [*] The average fps, especially in gunfights, is in the mid teens, just like Kevin Spacey [*] The game has really bad crash issues and during my playthrough crashed over 15 times total [*] Some of the missions are really drawn out and boring [*] The health regen system, you can't manually heal yourself, so you actually have to take cover [*] The cover system sucks. Numerous times I was shot through walls and died from an enemy around a corner [*] Aiming while in cover is nearly impossible and most of the time you can still be shot while sitting in cover [*] The voice lines are repeated often and get super annoying within an hour or so [*] When shooting the rocket launcher, it explodes as soon as it exits the chamber and blows up in your face [*] The boss missions are the worst because the fps is awful and you need to make quick movements and accurate shots [*] The sprinting system is odd, because sometimes it doesn't actually recharge and you cannot spring any more for that level [*] The gunshots are so loud that you can barely hear the character over them [*] The sounds are incredibly goofy because they're default source engine sounds. Think of cs:go noises in a comedy game. [*] The pathing on the NPCs are terrible and often run in front of you while you're shooting, causing you to lose repuation. [*] This doesn't feel anything like a postal game, other than the few tie-in characters from the 2nd game. [*] The "vehicle gameplay" is just you riding on a segway for a mission and a half. It even jokes about it in the game. [*] The weapon wheel is a pain to navigate and only a handful of items have hotkeys. [*] A majority of the weapons feel incredibly useless compared to the weapons from the 2nd game. [*] The game doesn't feel like a "week in paradise" and instead a bunch of "boring accidents and meetups" [*] Some of the weapons are a pain to use because they end up harming yourself or other civilians due to their awful pathing and the weapon's AOE [*] On the lowest graphics options possible, it is near impossible to even read the main menu screen [*] Alt+Tabbing causes the game to freeze and crash [*] Sometimes after respawning you get a bug where you keep moving back and to the right. To fix this, throw a grenade or restart the game. Usually throwing the grenade crashes it anyways [*] There's a chance that whenever you throw an item the game will crash [*] Akella is a Russian dev team that dropped the ball hard on this game and even RWS says that this game is trash. It is even referenced in the Paradise Lost DLC for POSTAL 2 [*] Running With Scissors is more fun than playing this dumpster fire [*] I'd rather dunk my balls in boiling water than have to sit through this campaign again [/list] Don't consider buying this. I thought that, "It can't possibly be as bad as people are saying it is". I could have not been more wrong. Playing this was absolutely frustrantingly rage-inducingly painful. The awful controls, the terrible framerate, the boring as hell missions, and the awful sound design make me want to vomit out an entire toddler. Do not spend your money on this. Do not support this developer. Stay far away from anything that they may make in the future. This is the biggest turd that I have ever bought and I would rather spend 15 days of my life in terrible achievement farming games than have to sit through another 5 hours of this filth. Please don't consider buying this. Please don't think that it's a good deal. Please refund this if you can. Do not make the same mistake that I did. Please save your time and money. Please stay safe from the rage and frustration of this stinky doodie. Please save yourself. EDIT: I don't even remember making this review. Thanks for reading it though. Also, here's another friendly reminder to not buy this dumpster of despair if you didn't get it in the above section.

  Obviously everyone hates this game i just thought it was really funny how during the postal sale they discounted every game except this one.

  THIS ISNT A RECOMMENDATION PER SE: ONLY FOR VERY SPECIFIC PEOPLE! The ONLY reasons you should buy this game if at least five or so of these things apply to you: - you pathologically need to own every postal game - you are aware of how broken and frustrating it is and still want to own it - you plan to mod the game hard enough that it is playable - you heard about the fan project "catharsis reborn" that sets out to actually make the game playable - you really can let go of 12 dollars for a game worth a 5th of the price, at best - you already own every other postal game out there - you're fine with none of this money going to RWS (the developers of the other Postal games) if this criterium isn't met: DONT BUY IT! IT IS BROKEN, UNFINISHED, FRUSTRATING AND REALLY SHOULD NOT HAVE TURNED OUT THE WAY IT DID!

  Postal and Postal 2 taught me to regret nothing, and I took that to heart. Then I tried playing Postal 3, and now I know nothing but regret.
