  It's a language learning game that's available in 28 languages. It narrates everything you do, drink, walk, climb etc. It also tells you how the things you hoover over with your mouse are called. I've decided to pay full price for this title in order to support educational games, there are barely any titles that meet this demand. It's a great titles for beginners (but not learners with elementary knowledge, the characters will use different tenses while speaking). However all the dialogues are still kept somewhat short and clear to understand. You have an option to have subtitles on or off (there are no ingame translations either) the game encourages you to immerse yourself.

  Firstly - the style of this game is awesome - this is like an oldschool-game, very useful adventure. Secondly - all the tasks in this game help you to get used to spanish speech, memorize new vocabulary. Especcially in cases when lots of wholesome words are being repeated many times during different episodes. And to put it shortly, this game is just an excellent way to spent your spare time. And humour in this game is hilarious. Thank's a lot for this great opportunity to return to my childhood)

  I'm trying to learn Spanish, did DuoLingo didn't work, Rosetta Stone didn't work, Michel Thomas (some of it stuck). I watch short comprehensible input video's on YouTube and I have a 1 on 1 with a teacher on Preply. Just want to give you a sense of where my Spanish is at which is beginner and can have a bit of a broken conversation. I finished the game in 2 days, and I don't think anything stuck, very disappointed tbh.

  Pedro's Adventures in Spanish is a decent point and click adventure with simple puzzles, a good sense of humor and some basic Spanish Language immersion. Game is playable with about 100 crowns in Duolingo, about halfway through Unit 2. I'm finding it a useful way to practice Spanish. Very happy this game includes the ability to comer manzanas, as Duolingo really stresses this in Unit 1 and it's nice to see that phrase applied. Overall considering how expensive language learning software and textbooks can be, this is an inexpensive way to get a some Spanish language immersion and practice.

  As someone who's been self-studying Spanish for less than a month (at the time of writing). I could say this game is beginner friendly even though there are no English translations. It's suitable for visual learners such as myself. I had a blast! ♥♥♥ However, there could be some improvements with the art and UI department, it's charming in its own way though. The puzzles can be a little confusing and random at times but that's the fun of it, trying out different objects to finish the quests. I've completed all achievements of the game in just over 10 hours of playtime! I'm so glad that I found this game and became a part of my Spanish learning journey! Muchas gracias, Rocket Boy games! ♥♥♥

  This is a great game for practice reading, thinking, and having a good time while learning. I'm thankful the creators spent time on this nice piece of software, and it's worth everything I spent on it. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes to play game's and is learning Spanish.

  I can't praise this game enough. Beautiful art style, solid controls, charming characters, lovely soundtrack, some really fun puzzles and - most importantly - an engaging language learning tool which doesn't feel like 'work' because it's a genuinely awesome game in its own right! As context I'm at an 'advanced beginners' (A1/A2ish) stage of my Spanish self-study. So far I've found Pedro tremendously helpful, but I think learners at any level would benefit. The game excels at teaching new words and phrases via contextual clues and - perhaps more importantly - also helps solidify existing knowledge so that it feels more 'second nature'. On that point I should say that I quite like the survival mechanic - I understand why some find it a little annoying, but it's a low pressure gig (water and food are plentiful in the game and you can't actually die) and really helps solidify knowledge of those 'food' words. After about 20 hours of gameplay I've now fully completed the game (with all 178 points, woo hoo!) but still plan to do another playthrough soon - this time turning the text off (so I'll rely on audio only) as an additional challenge. I wouldn't normally play a game like this again so quickly but it's such a fun game (plus I'll get to listen to the addictively awesome 'dancing' music in the bar again!) I see that Rocket Boy Games have made French and English versions of the game too which I'm sure are worth a look if you're interesting in those languages (personally I'm praying for a German version!). I'm also pleased they're producing more unique language-learning content - namely the super cool-looking shooter Linguist FPS - and I hope they're able to make some more point-and-clicks in the future as well. So thank you Rocket Boy Games - this is a fantastic game which I'd recommend to anyone.
