  Everyone knows that this game is great so i will not be saying anything new, despite that i think the devs deserve all the praise they can get because i genuinely belive this is the best H-game there is out there. First off lets set the baseline of what normal H-game are like. Gameplay: a lot are bad or non-existent. The ones that bother with gameplay will shove a JRPG combat that its very basic, boring and sometimes even excesively grindy. It reaches a point that better ones are those who have non-existent gameplay or the game is non-intrusive. Few are the ones with a combat gameplay or a gameplay that links together with erotic parts in a compeling way. And dont get me started in the games that require you to deliberately lose so you cant get to see the spicy stuff....i hate those. H-scenes: the most important (imo) part of an H-game. 85% are just static cgi without sounds and voice acting, the basic ones have just moans and the worst one dont even the s*x sound effects. A minortity have animation but usually that comes at the cost of something else, very few are the ones that can add animation to their scenes while maiting the quality and quantity of everything else. Finally there are some that use pixel art animation instead or in combination with cgi, some (like summer memories or Ntraholic) with more sucess than others. And most of the them reuse cgs to some extent to increase the volume of H-scenes. Wich is not bad in my opinion, as long as its done in a smart way. Character desing/art style/personality: 50% are good and the other half are bad and maybe being too generous. You can nail the first two but if you character dont look atractive or distinguish themselves in anyway then you arent gonna be worth the time. The sad ones is when the character desing is really promising but the art style cant do her justice or when the artstyle is really good but the character is boring long brown hair girl number 64. The personality is the string that holds everything together, a character can have a basic concept but if the personality is good enought it can make her unique. Now lets see how Karryn's Prison absolutlt nails this three aspects in my opinion. Gameplay: Its a turn base rpg but its doesnt use the basic template of most rpg maker games and throws some resource management on top. First off it hard and doesnt hold its punches and even tries to trick so you missunderstand how you should build Karry combat wise. In each combat Karryn will be attacked both sexually and phisycally and to that effect two resource bars Stamina and Energy. To simplify it A LOT, Karryn loses energy when she recieves physical punishment or does a physical action and she loses energy when she org*sm or to recover energy. When both bars reach 0 you lose the fight. If thats not enought we have even more bars. Pleasure (self explenatory), when it reaches 100 Karryn c*ms and Willpower allows her to buff her attacks and reduce (or increase) her desires. What are desires you ask? Well there are 5 hearths above the Pleasure bar named c*ck, p*ssy, B**bs, Mouth and *ss that will increase as combat goes on. As the hearth increase the enemies will be able to do more things to Karryn. Now i could go on (i didnt even explained the resource management part) but i think the point its clearly. A lot of thought and effort was put into Karryn's prison gameplay and its executed rather well not just for H-game but for an rpg maker game in general. But this means nothing if the next point falls flat. H-scenes: unlike most eroges, Karryn doesnt have scenes that be neatly fit into a gallery but everything happens during the gameplay. Like a mentioned before , Enemies will try to sexually harass Karryn and if her desires are high enough then they can perform a s*x act for example, if c*ck desire and p*ssy reach 100 then the enemy will be able to have v*ginal s*x with her. At this moment the gameplay shift from Karryn trying to physically subdue the enemy to her trying to endure so she doesnt loses all her stamina and energy, if the enemies c*m before that happens the she wins the combat. Remember that i said: "And dont get me started in the games that require you to deliberately lose so you cant get to see the spicy stuff....i hate those.". Karryn avoids this by 1) integrating the s*x to the combat instead of as a separated thing and 2 genuinely trying to be a challenge so you're arent actually punished or miss out on anything for trying engage with the game. What is more once you understand the game well there is fun to be have in trying to manage how fast or slow Karryn falls. It uses static cgs but sometimes it alternates them to simulate movement. Now how much variation there is, plenty in my opinon. For example lets take v*ginal s*ex for example. From the first hours you could asume that there just two or three poses rehused and thats that. Allow me to spoil how many of them are (two my knowledge) and you be the judge if it is a good number or not. there are 6 happen when enemies forces themselves into Karryn during combat. 1 that happens when Karryn forces herself into the enemies 1 that happens during a boss fight 4 that happen when Karryn loses a battle (depends on where she loses) 3 that can happen during her sidejobs (4 including the dlc) 1 that happens during the ending This without counting the the ones that happens during another interaction, for example an enemy will force Karryn to give her a blowjob or a boobjob, another enemy can f*ck at the same time. To me this results in a more that satifying amount of content given that Karryn is fully voice acted (in both japanese and english) during combat and that the voice line change depending on how corrupted Karryn is. Character desing/art style/personality: since s*x revolves around only one character in this game the devs have to really nail or everything else could fall apart. Initially glanced at screen shots i rolled my eyes at character in a skimpy outfit with tits that are little too big for my taste. Did i change my mind? Do i find Karryn appealing? HELL YES. First off Karryn was barely above the line off what i consider too much b**b for anime style character, what made me change my mind its noticing that everything its big on Karryn. She is freaking tall, her legs are thick, her *ss is plump, her hips are wide and yes her b**bs are bigger than her head but everything works well when putted together. Hell even her lips are sensually remarked. The outfit is still silly but the game acknowledges and finds an excuse to justify it wich works pretty well in the setting and the side jobs outfits are top tier. Then the cherry on top is her personality. Karryn is prideful, smart, sometimes cocky, hardwoker, has a temper and she is very strong. All this is conveyed very well by both her voice acting, her expresions and movements. I dont joke when i say that find Karryn combat poses more arousing that some H-scenes in other games. The last thing that makes her unique its how she changes as she become sexually corrupted, 99% of characters become either mindless sluts or meek slaves to the pleasure. The game doesnt necesarily throw away Karryn powerful personality but instead warps it in way that fits her obsession with s*x. She changes from being the object of sexual relief for everyone else to making everyone else objects for her sexual relief. Of course this also depends in how you play it, if Karryn corrupts too fast before you build her properly then she will become a masochistic tool for everyone else. But if you build her power as she slowly corrupts, the she can be the sadistic queen of this prison. so yeah....i think i like this game.

  I've seen a lot of shame around people 'coming out' as a porn game player. Oddly, there's hardly any shame in people watching porn. Like an action movie vs an action game, the appeal is revolutionary. Monster girl 1000 is a great game for intimacy. If sexual corruption isn't your thing, go there. If sexual corruption is your thing, this game is a FOUNTAIN of pleasure. Hard to beat its quality. It's a quality hard beat.

  I recommend this Game without a doubt, it stands in stark contrast to the general sovelware we are otherwise getting. While it doesn't have a deep story, the Gameplay loop is addicting with, which is topped off with great art style. Definitely recommend

  The game is surprisingly complex for.. a pr0n game. Yes I'm a degenerate for even owning it, but it has real combat and real character builds you can develop. Addicting gameplay loop. Edit: Since recommending this game I have received multiple concerned messages from friends and family alike as their own personal recommendations have since been affected. What being horny on main does to a mf. Worth every penny.

  The problem you find with most heroine corruption games is the inherent tension between progressing the game and unlocking lewd content. You need to win to progress, but losing (or at least getting sidetracked) is usually more fun. This holds true because of the cold, hard fact that these games are actually not that much fun to play and we wouldn't even think to bother with them if they weren't such fertile ground for jolly-getting. Ultimately, you end up with a game with a very inorganic pace where you find yourself moving the story along just enough so that you have the opportunity to dive into the next pool of depravity only to be story-locked and forced to jump-start the story again. It's good enough, but it's certainly not the best we can expect. Karryn's Prison finds its way around this problem with two innovative tweaks. 1) the lewd content happens during, and is further unlocked only as, you actually play the "game" part of the game. 2) the "game" part of the game is actually kind of fun. The result is you can actually play normally and try to win and find it enjoyable, while at the same time not need to actively pursue the lewd content for fear of missing out - it will happen - in subtle, gradual ways as the constant exposure to depravity wears away at Karryn's sense of propriety; and in more spectacular ways when genuine miscalculations are made. And the lewd content is all more exciting for the fact that it reveals itself in this accidental and unexpected manner - surprise nudity is the best nudity, after all.
