  Blah...blah...blah... is a good summary of this visual novel. Here are the reasons I don't recommend it: 1. A long story is not necessarily a good story and in this case it is just a horrible story with a boring ending and no plot. 2. When I purchase a game or visual novel, I expect the grammar and spelling to be perfect. This visual novel has both grammar and spelling errors besides being a boring and poorly written story. 3. The story is very linear and choices don't make a huge difference and many story-line questions are left unanswered. If you are looking for a good visual novel on Steam in this general genre I would recommend the following instead: Acting Lessons; City of Broken Dreamers; Depraved Awakening; Love of Magic; Love Season; Sisterly Lust; and/or Sylphine.

  The characters were good and you could tell that the author changed his original creation to something that makes no sense at all. I would have to agree with others on here that it looks like it was about siblings and incest. What the haters need to remember is that it's just a story. I'm sure the same haters didn't watch HBO's Game of T...... because of the incest. The MC and Haley hiding their relationship from everyone when they have been best friends since they were babies? I'm fairly sure most people and parents would be happy with their son or daughter marrying the person they grew up loving since he or she was a baby. So why would the MC and Haley worry about people finding out? Well, it's because the author caved and changed it because a group of haters complained about the relationship between the brother and sister being more than brother and sister. I would say to the author, return it to the original. Put it back to the way you had it. It looks like you had a good story to tell about the FICTIONAL characters and how they would have to deal with all the obstacles they would have to face should they decide to continue their taboo path. The way it is right now is very confusing and makes no sense.

  I played this one outside of steam a few times and i have to say for me it´s just awesome. A really good story, wonderful writing and really loveable characters. The minute i saw that it was published here on steam i had to get and replay "Haley´s Story". And if you are like me and love this one, don´t forget to check out the other Likesblondes game(s) here on steam! "Life with Mary" is just as good as "Haley´s Story"! Thank you dev for your work and the love you put in this games and know i will always be a fan.

  Haley's Story is a simple but good visual novel if you like slow paced forbidden love stories with slice of life moments. The main focus on Haley but there are opportunities to side adventures as well by the player choices. As I see the visual aspect is simple good. It is not top notch but good enough for example lewd scenes to be arousing. Overall Haley's Story was a good adult visual novel experience for me.

  The beginning of Haley’s Story was very well done and had me hooked quickly. I really like how the developer handled relationships both between the main character and Sandra as well as them and Haley. During the middle of the game it got a bit slow though and the end left a lot of questions as well as loose ends. I found your choices started to get slim and I wasn’t always liking how things were handled with the story from the middle onward. The game opens up avenues with other female characters and then shuts them down or forgets about them with little reason. It introduces backstory for Haley but then just drops it with no resolution. It introduces a FWB character that gets shut down. It introduces your boss who you can have an affair with but she drops off never to be seen again. It introduces a dom/sub aspect to your relationship with Haley ever so briefly but never actually uses it and forgets about it. The one thing that people online complain about that I didn’t care much about was the fact that originally Haley and the main character are siblings where in the final game it was reworked to friends that grew up in the same house, pretty much adopted siblings if you want, although that term is never used. The lack of blood relation means that there is no taboo and no reason to hide their relationship with each other as well as no reason for others to be shocked. As I said though, I didn’t mind much. The models were great as was the object detail. The music was decent but got a bit repetitive. The lewd scenes were fairly good although they get a bit sparse near the end. The animations were decent but not the best I have seen although far from the worst. I found it a bit strange how during dialogue everyone had a picture of their character on the left but the main character who just has a black silhouette. I could understand if we had customized their appearance but we can’t do that so I’m not sure why there was no picture for them. I played Haley’s Story on Linux. It never crashed. I noticed three spelling errors which for a game this length isn’t a huge deal. You can save whenever you want and there are fifty four save slots. Alt-tab didn’t work. Game Engine: Ren’Py 7.4.8.1895 Graphics API: OpenGL Game Version Played: 1.1-small Disk Space Used: 2.09 GB GPU Usage: 0-14 % VRAM Usage: 626-1386 MB CPU Usage: 1-7 % RAM Usage: 3.1-3.9 GB Despite the middle being a bit of a drag and the ending being a bit sudden there is a great game here overall due to the beginning and the relationships. I really enjoyed the banter between the main character and Haley and I found Sandra to be a fantastic love interest. I just feel the game had more to give and explore than it ended up doing. I finished the game in six hours and four minutes and paid $14.11 CAD for it. The value was great for the quality and length.
