  At this point of writing I have almost 100% the game and I will give a spoiler free review of it. Imagine you're walking a dog down the street. The dog steps on broken glass, you get stabbed by a homeless man, you're robbed and stripped completely naked. Somebody stabs you with dirty needles giving you every type of hepatitis along with super AIDS. Every step of the way it somehow gets worse. Any glimmer of hope you have is eventually snuffed out and you are left empty and hollow on the sidewalk. That's what the story is like. The writing is brutally and horrifically amazing. The art is deranged and disgustingly beautiful. You see what the characters see, you feel what the characters feel. I have now been enlightened on the ways to destroy the mind, body and spirit. I didn't know that there would be a piece of work that would make me turn to SONG OF SAYA as a more relaxing, chill and overall less scarring experience. 10/10, Cannot recommend anyone to play this but if you WANT to bear witness to extreme rape, torture, and ethics violations to some cute anime girls then here you go you sick bastards.

  [b]ABSOLUTE STUNNING![/b] …and one of the [i]harshest/cruellest[/i] visual novels I have ever read. If I am to draw a metaphor. Dead End Aegis is like a dessert made from finest grade of dark chocolate neatly molded into a shape of an utterly gruesome abomination. So ugly. So warped. So bitter. So delicate. So delicious. So high-quality. This is [u]not[/u] some average tasteless torture porn. The plot / the characters / the art are all masterpieces of work without doubt. They do not hold back to shatter your heart into pieces, though. And you may take the hit harder if 'typical' magical girl is your type. At some point the story will branch into two main routes, the shorter one and the longer one. Upon completing two branches you will see the story from 'both sides'. [i]I personally recommend that you go for the shorter one first[/i] because of how the story of two routes intertwined. But it is not that serious. In my playthrough I played the longer route first (cuz I chose it blind) and I enjoyed the vn completely fine. For those who want to know where is the branch of the story The chapter where the branch located is : [spoiler]“Crossroads”[/spoiler] The choice to shorter route : [spoiler]--“Send Group 14 out of the Cathedral”--[/spoiler] The choice to longer route : [spoiler]----“Keep Group 14 in the Cathedral"---- [/spoiler] If the choices do not appear in this chapter, that means previous choices compel you to go on a certain route. So? Recommend? Product's quality is not in question here, your heart fortitude is in question instead. Let me repeat. This is [u]not[/u] some average tasteless torture porn. This is a wholesome top-tier masterpiece.

  (18+ UNCENSORED) Eroge CW: Rape, torture, death, sexism, racism, dehumanization, humilation, ugly bastards, tentacles and more. It's not a fap material despite the very graphic sexual/nude scenes. Unless...( ಠ ʖಠ)... It is intense, if you can't stomach stuff like that then turn around and never look back. There's no decoy screen to hide what you are playing, so I would reccomend just tapping "arrow up" to display backlog. It will cover the entire screen, and the moans as well as the screams of agony will stop. It's basically madoka magica for adults. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. I will cite someone else since they managed to describe it even better "It's Madoka Magica with aliens, testacle monsters, corrupt civilization and military power which exploited war economics and polítics" Very well written and engaging dark sci-fi story, that takes place in the year 2108. Mankind comes together under the "United Earth Forces", in order to defeat the aliens. The only ones that stand a chance against the aliens are "magical girls" that have been infused with alien superpowers. The protagonist of this story was saved by a magical girl, and she decides to become one(Little did she know what would await her...) Being a "magical girl" is far from awesome. It's a term that's being used in order to lure in young, naive girls, since what they are really signing up doesn't sound as good... Once they are lured in by propaganda, they are sent to space, unable to seek help nor tell the world what's really going on...Being forced to fight for the survival of mankind. The 18+ scenes are rly well done and feel integral to the story, they rly set the tone and perfectly fit the story. I didn't expect an eroge to hook me in this much. I can see it becoming one of my favourite stories. (￣^￣ )ゞ What I like about is that despite the sci-fi premise it feels real. It would be naive to say that stuff like that never happen(ed) IRL, It's what makes this story hit extra hard. On a sidenote. If you are a woman be prepared to feel extra uncomfortable during certain scenes ಥ_ಥ ...The things they did with the genitals, oof. I had to pause a lot during those scenes seeing a drill like machine going inside, electrocution just to name a few I nominated it for "OUTSTANDING STORY-RICH GAME AWARD" -2022 It won't win but it had my vote (￣ε￣〃)ｂ I decided to review it fairly early into the story to avoid spoiling it too much, and slightly edited it after playing more.

  simply ebin. Family friendly content for all mentlegen of culture from all walks and fetishes of life. You want wholesome you got it, you want the deepest and darkest "culture" right from the devil's butthole, you got it. A true work of art. I love it.

  The sex scenes are overly gratuitous even though the game clearly wants to use them to further bolster its themes about normalisation of abuse, sacrificing the few for the benefit of the many and how sex can be used to control individuals. It´s disappointing the VN squanders its potential to appeal to its presumably male audience by compromising on its own artistic integrity. The perspective is always placed in a way to present the girls in the most sexually desirable way possible in spite of the horrific acts of sexual abuse, undermining their message. As a result, the poignancy of the story was lost on me. I would not recommend reading this as it ends up resulting in a tale with fetishistic levels of pornography that does not contribute to the story the VN so clearly wants to tell. Also thank you to steam for wiping out my full 7 paragraph review when I had to leave for like a few minutes and steam is just like "You won´t be needing that review anymore". Pro tip: Write your steam reviews on another program or you will lose them XD
