  Forever a classic. No other game lets you brutally absorb an old woman, take her appearance and then sprint up a 40 story building in front of her traumatized relatives like a schizophrenic spiderman.

  the gameplay is fun as you remember it and def worth the 5$ when it hits the usual sale but it has some major issues with win10 and i managed to fix them all simply and without messing around with your system too much. 1- [b] resolution is maxed at 720p in game [/b] = quite simple , download this patch -> https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/1486-prototype-resolution-and-fov-fix/ and chose the biggest fov and it will automatically changed the game resolution for your current monitor resolution 2-[b] the frame rate is so low in menu and in game (20 fps and below) [/b] = also simple , open up your device manger and chose human interface devices -> then anything under ''HID-compliant consumer control device'' (there are usually 3) , right click and disable device , don't worry this doesn't do anything at the moment(check final note after finishing) , after that you can force Vsync from your Nvidia control panel or just simply play at uncapped frames. 3-[b] the game keeps crashing whenever i start a new game [/b] , this game is optimized for 4-core processor only but the solution is simple aswell , open up task manger then right click on one of the steam services in the background processes -> go to details -> right click steam.exe -> set affinity -> un-tick all processors and tick only CPU 0,1,2,3 then ok , the game should run normally now. FINAL NOTE = after you run the game and load in , alt+tab and you can reverse back problem 2 , 3 = tick back all processors to normal + re-enable all HID device that you disabled , and the game will still run fine AS LONG AS you are in the game and not quit to the main menu or the game , if you wanna take a break just alt+tab and keep the game running in background and you should be able to get back any time with no problems (game is stable) , just note that if you do that reverse 2 , 3 problems , you need to do the solution again every time you enter the game or the issues will return. enjoy.

  For everyone that's having difficulty running this on Windows 10, fear not! There is a way. Compatability mode is your answer! Navigate to the Compatibility tab in game properties, and check the compatibility mode box to un-gray the dropdown menu beneath and choose what previous version of windows you want to run your game in. For this game in particular, running it with Windows 7 or XP should do the trick! Compatability mode is the major answer to running most older games that aren't compatible with the newer operating system, so any older games that seems to struggle to run in your windows 10 PC should now work with this little trick. Have fun!

  how to get the game working on a windows 10, 8+ core cpu: -Use Task Manager to change the affinity of STEAM to using only 8 cores BEFORE launching the game, that’s CPU 0 to CPU 7 on Windows 10, then run the game. Changing the game’s affinity after it’s launched won’t work.
