Generic Ascii Cam turns your camera input into ASCII art.

- Generate ASCII images in real time.

- View the camera preview as ASCII and take pictures with this tool.

- Save or share the captured ASCII images.

Warning: Choosing a high image width(240+) may cause the camera preview to lag.

Choose from several different settings:

- FPS: Choose the camera preview FPS.

- Image Width: Choose how many ASCII characters you want to represent your image. Choosing high image widths may cause the preview to become sluggish.

- Use Front/Rear Camera

- Invert Brightness: Represent dark areas with lighter characters

- Contrast: Change the contrast used in the conversion. We recommend using at least 50% contrast to reduce image noise.
