Abid Ghoffar bin Aboe Dja'far or better known as Ebiet G. Ade (born in Wanadadi, Banjarnegara, Central Java, 21 April 1954; age 64 years) is a singer and songwriter of Indonesian nationality. Ebiet is known for his songs with natural themes and grief of the marginalized group. Through his ballad genre songs, at the beginning of his career, he photographed the atmosphere of Indonesian life in the late 1970s until now.
