Comprehensive psychological diagnosis of preschoolers and primary schoolchildren

The application was developed by the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov for specialists of preschool educational institutions-partners of the university. The application is available after authorization.

The ability to independently regulate your behavior and thought processes is the most important achievement of preschool age. The ability to arbitrarily regulate one's activities is the basis for successful studies. Children with established regulation are better oriented than others in tasks, hold attention for longer, more easily switch from one task to another.

These features require timely diagnosis, and if necessary, correction.

Content.

The basis for the development of the application was the methodology adapted on the Russian sample of preschool children:

a) Diagnosis of cognitive flexibility. The game consists of three different samples, in which the child is asked to sort the cards according to various reasons (color, shape and switching these rules).

b) Diagnosis of visual working memory. The test consists of four samples in which the child is asked to look at the location of the cards on a square frame for 10 seconds, and then put them in memory on an empty frame. The purpose of the test is to check the visual-spatial memory and assess the child's ability to remember unfamiliar visual material.

c) Diagnosis of intelligence. The test consists of three series, varying in level of difficulty. In each series, the child is offered 12 matrices with missing elements. The task of the child is to establish the pattern and choose the desired figure.

d) Diagnosis of understanding emotions (?). The child is offered photographs of children who express various emotions. The task is set for the child to show children with the same emotions or choose a photo of the child who feels the same as the one indicated.
