  Okay, so VRM Posing Deskop. Ever since Evelyn added VMC/Osc support to it, this app has been consistently just blowing away every similar app in the category. I build and design vtuber applications using Unity, and I do things like adding physics and spring bones to my models all the time. Stuff that may or may not translate to a raw vrm, by itself. But, with VRM Posing Desktop, I can send my poses Unity in real time, and test all that stuff in real time _before_ I pull up Vseeface or some of the other Osc tools I use as part of my process. It also saves me time, because I can move a posed character anywhere in my scene using VRM Pose Desktop. What this translates to less less coding on the Unity side, as I no longer have to fiddle with layered animation controllers that I would normally have to use in order to achieve the same effect. Now, I just put my character where I want them in my scene, and I use VRM Posing Desktop to adjust their orientation, and get them into the right place. At this point, I'm using this app every day. Every day. VRM Posing Desktop is also for blendshape testing and troubleshooting. It recognizes that your blendshape proxy exists, and that it can be different than the shapes on your skinned mesh renderers. This feature lets you walk through the individual shapes, and test each one if you want to. That is such a time saver! It's also useful for making marketing material. The lights are adjustable, and the shaders the program uses these days (she's updated them), look pretty good. I like the way I can add multiple characters to the same layout in VRM posing desktop. I did this thing a while back where I made five variations of a single model, and VRM posing desktop let me position them in a scene where it looked like they were all having fun together. And all of this while being easy to use with an intuitive user interface. I think that's important to mention. There's nothing else, no other program that does this, that achieves this level of user experience. UI's in other programs like this range from difficult to understand to, "why would you put that there?" Not so with VRM Posing Desktop. I like how it addresses the needs of both novice and advanced users like myself in one small, easy to use to package. Only remaining criticism I have is that I would like the contact points for bones to be a little smaller. So that I can pull and push them in dense bone regions a little more easily than I do. But all things considered, this is a blockbuster of a program, and without a doubt, the best in its category. Thanks again Evelyn, for creating this, and keeping it vibrant and alive.

  This is an excellent application for posing VRMs, the interface is simple to understand and the tools are easy to work with. There are several features I'd like to suggest for a future update though. A way to adjust the facial features with sliders. A pose library for hands. An option to save custom poses. Increase the range for zoom, more specifically for close ups. Lastly, if possible, a way to import a second model. All things considered I'm very happy with the tool, it was well worth the investment. ^_^

  My opinion of this product. Pro's: - It has a VRM poser. - There is Many many MANY poses that you can choose from. - You can customise the many poses to make even more poses! - 2 different menu's for facial posing. - Hand poses and a menu for customise finger posing. - Can Save poses! - Export images. Con's: - Does not currently export images outside of 720P - Single models only, - Camera controls are limited and do not allow free movement. - If you try to close up your avatar will disappear - Does not support VSF so stuck using MToon, LilToon or standard shader from unity. - No IK rig so have to pose everything individually. (Sometimes cannot be made to work so this one does not really count) How to improve?: - Allow more than one model. - Allow more camera movement. - Fix the image exporter. - Allow a closer zoom without avatar disappearing (optional) Allow VSF models to be imported. This product though, Yes with it being limited is still very very good. I really do feel this program will go far with a few updates and so I look forward to seeing it grow. Cant wait to see what you do next Evelyn GameDev!
