  A really charming swordfight game. Short campaign, but that's where the fun just begins. Simple to pick up, hard to master. Can lead to very long and exciting duels. Definitely a game to play with friends!

  Great art style. The story is good but very short,could have been longer. Combat is very simple,but feels intense. You dont just slash trough stuff and do combos,its more about waiting and observing your opponent to know when the right time to attack comes. After around 2 hours,i feel like i,,finished''the game. I went trough the story mode,i had some duels with the AI on hard difficulty....and now all thats left for me is to do the story again with different modifiers. But since the game is very cheap and online pvp is on the way,im going to give it a seal of approval for now. Would like to see a leaderboard for pvp and a,,wave mode''with endless ammounts of enemies to see how far you can make it. EDIT: The quality of the voice lines is pretty bad. Its not that the voice actors are bad,but it just wasnt recorded very well it seems.

  tl;dr: It's actually good but it's no masterpiece. I'm looking forward to online multiplayer. Negatives first, to get them out of the way. - The story is mid at best and the delivery is not great. I don't know if that is solely to the writing or also to the English voice acting. - The tutorial is not great. I don't understand the game's mechanics but I'm supposed to use them. Other games in the genre (e.g. Furi) did this much better. - You cannot skip most of the story, making replaying a bit tedious. - Rolling is not as responsive as I would like it to be. I can't be sure this is not due to my controller, so take this with a grain of salt. Okay, let's get to the meat of it. + The game's art is beautiful. The style is well executed, fitting and consistent. + Moment to moment gameplay is intense. The game is not fast, which works to its advantage when a single mistakes may spell death. + Loading times are short enough for dying not to be frustrating. It's no Ghost Runner though, you could probably shave a little more off. In conclusion this game is a quick, fun dueling game. Once online multiplayer is added, I will generally recommend it. For now, sadly, the story alone is too short and not varied enough for my taste.

  I was genuinely looking forward to this game as someone who enjoys fighting games and this style of dueling games but the game lacks a lot to make it worth investing time in. Polish: there are many glaring issues that stand out when moving through the menus and reading anything in the game. There's a mismatch of fonts, the stylizing is often inconsistent, and often very glaring outdated ui, very noticeable in the map menu. Combat: I like where they were going with combat but I believe you can make a game easy to learn and hard to master, here there is not a lot of depth that makes it feel like you can invest a lot of time in to "master'. Theres also the fact that if you are facing a certain way and your opponent dashes past you and you try to attack again your character will keep facing the wrong way. Its a bit clunky. Art: I actually liked where they were going with the art, I would just say that it could also use a little bit of polish, some maps are a bit better than others but the art often times looks very washed and muddled. I really want to like this game, I like the genre and I believe it has the potential. It just needs to be redesigned in some areas (combat, ui/art, more characters, voice acting).

  As an Absolver player, I love this game. You have to dodge, parry, bait, manage stamina, and break guards. Can't wait for online pvp!

  A good game that unfortunately has issues with character balance, optimization, broken achievements, AI, and more. In addition, there is no online PvP yet, so for now, this game is more like a 6/10. However, I believe that if the creators address these release issues and add online PvP, it could easily become an 8/10.
