  2k, i don't understand, nor does the entire PC community who decides to waste their hard earned money on this game. It is to no surprise that the PC community has the best specs. So that begs the question, why isn't NBA2k22 on PC running at the "next-gen" version? It makes zero sense. Zero. It is an absolute disgrace and insult to the entire fan base that you guys surprisingly still have on PC. 2k, PC players want next-gen. We not only want that, but we want to be treated like you guys actually care about all of us who play your game. I feel let down. And you all should feel let down too for allowing your PC players to be stepped on like this. Do better, get better.

  Give PC next gen? PC is beyond the specs of PS5 and the new Xbox.. don't see why we don't have the next gen experience??????????

  Welp. This is it. Been a die hard fan since 2k13 and im honestly done. So fed up. I honestly can't convey my frustrations. No next gen on pc? Ok i understand that..maybe they had a deal or something with microsoft/sony.......but to play this piece of recycled garbage they call a new game...blasphemous..Im disgusted and if there was a way to get my money back i would. Quit focusing on your stupid fucking cosmetics and in game clothes u dumb fucklers. Focus on the actual gameplay not if u have the new lowtop Travis Scott jordans WHAT THE FUCK

  DO NOT BUY THIS! Seriously, this isn't a "ooh let's boycot 2k till they fix the game" type of thing. There are genuine reasons why you shouldn't buy this game. If you own 2k21, this is a carbon copy of it. This is current gen. Don't believe what some of these people saying about current gen 2k22 that it's the same as next gen with graphics being the only difference. WRONG! The entire game is damn near different. Most important difference of all? MyPlayer creation. The badges are COMPLETELY different from next gen. We get the same system as we had in 2k21, while the next gen have a completely different badge system. We get the same labels, sure, but the way you get them? 100% different. Your build? 100% different. Here you still get the pie-charts, in next-gen it's a whole different game. And not to mention the graphics obviously. So literally there are only 3 differences between this, and 2k21. 1-The name. 2-The roster (which can be updated, so even this don't really count). 3-Some new badges, but the same old system. Do not buy this not because of a 2k boycott. Not because of 2k being greedy. Not because of principle or whatever. Don't buy this literally because it's the same as 2k21. I don't even mean this in a "ooh it's the same game every year" no. I mean literally the same. I had to alt-tab just to make sure I was in 2k22, and not 2k21. If your friends have this, and you wanna get it or whatever, go ahead. But I 100% recommend you either get 2k21 on a discount if you gonna play that singleplayer, or just get the game on consoles. IF you're playing MyTeam however? That's fine, go ahead.

  I bought NBA 2K22 75th Anniversary Edition which gave me 105,000 VC. I created a MyPlayer and started MyCareer and after doing so I went straight to progression and spent the VC on attributes which then increased my overall from a 60 to an 80. Next I went to neighborhood and was just wondering around and trying to explore and I came across this door which happened to be the elevator. I noticed that it led to different rooms so i decided to join the 2v2/3v3 room but in the midst of me trying to join it gave me an error message or something like that and sent me to the main screen. I didn't make a big deal of it because I know the game is new and still needs more work done to it. So, I enter MyCareer again only to find out that it didn't save automatically, my MyPlayer was back at a 60 overall, and I didn't have my VC.

  The game is pretty simular to the last 2 copies of it. It is definetly better than 2k21 (thank god lol) but still, I can't see this as actual progress. PC not being recognised as next gen is killing the community and I honestly can't be anything more or less than sad. It's just sad. It's difficult but it's coming out of a big 2K fan, don't buy this game.

  Here's a fun story for you. I bought this game to play MyCareer and MyCareer only. Is it the most challenging thing ever? No but it's fun to pretend to be an NBA player. You know how it goes, I imagine you have similar feelings if you're reading this review. I put a lot of time into my one career. 122 hours as steam says and one day I open the game to find that I have been banned??!!??! You can check my achievements, I only have achievements related to MyCareer and absolutely ZERO related to the multiplayer. And yet somehow I have violated the terms of service playing MyCareer alone and am now banned. Fine ok, I guess I'll stick to just playing single-player like I have for my entire 122 hours of playtime. Except oh wait. I can't. Since this game requires always online being banned means that I CANNOT PLAY SINGLE PLAYER EVEN BY MYSELF. I am just locked out of almost all game functions and 2k refuses to explain what I was banned for. What's funny is that numerous reviews of this game mention that PC online is FULL of cheaters. So you can't play multiplayer on PC and even if you just stick to yourself and play MyCareer single player please be aware that 2K can randomly decide to ban you and block you from a save file you have over 100 hours in. 0/10 I'm honestly flabbergasted at how awful this is.
