  Terrible moderating and anti cheat system. A bunch of children are moderating this game deciding on who gets banned or not. And guess what, they're banning the wrong people. You might be wondering what about the bad anti cheat system? Yeah there isn't one. To report someone you have to go on their discord to talk to a bunch of 14 year old and have their prepubescent minds decide on what's wrong or right. Actual hackers keep getting unbanned because there's a whole group of them working together showing "video proof" that they aren't hacking. How ridiculous is that. Also if you call these children "kids" they'll get triggered and delete your discord messages asking you to keep it out of the longvinter chat. Which in the first place is for players to discuss the issues together. What kind of system is that? Sorry for trying to connect with other players and exposing the truth behind how weird of a moderating system this game has and sorry for calling a bunch of 14 year old "kids" maybe we should start calling them premature non working citizens of our society.

  I got this game with my bf and it was okay at first, but after a while it got really annoying. People constantly claiming and expanding their spot right next to the main base, which makes it difficult to walk through without their turrets going off and shooting at you. I also was told about hackers and honestly now that I think about it, yeah... there definitely is, and sadly nothing gets done about it lol like on the server I was on, which was US1, please... someone tell me how this camp had over 50 turrets?? when the only way to get turrets is if it spawns in a crate which is quite rare, or craft it using a turret kit which is also rare to come across? this game is also hard to grow in if you are new because people constantly kill you, and if you happen to be at your home while they kill you, you'll spawn back at your house and they'll pretty much keep killing you over and over until you decide to just close the game. They will camp and even hide behind your house to make you think that they left. And at that point- i don't see why they keep killing you when you don't have anything else in your backpack since you already died and lost all your stuff... I also recently found out that the people who moderate their official discord chat... is a 14 year old... I was pretty much over this game, and wasn't gonna type up a review for it, BUT I noticed that the some of the most recent reviews of this game (which were all good reviews) are actually the moderators of the discord chat... They really are children because I mean... If I was gonna make a fake review for a game that im a moderator for... I'd AT LEAST be smart enough to change my steam name so people won't know it's the same name on discord LOL buuut that's just my own unpopular opinion.

  The story so far.. - spawned , explored a bit, found a house with an autoturret , died - respawned , bought fishing rod , ran out of stamina while swimming died. - respawned , picked plants , ate wrong type of plant , died. - respawned , picked a few bushes, sold them to a vending machine , bought a tent . and a box , got some stuff stored and went for a walk.. found the snow area, died reaaaal fast. - respawned at my tent (win) , went back to the snow and grabbed my stuff (bringing food for healing) , found a bunch of stuff ,took it home, made a shotgun , got my first kill . felt bad about it went back home and logged out.

  This is the game that I played the most and enjoyed the most. Really loved the concept of animal crossing x rust. I was confused to see the low rating this game had until I got suspended for a terrible reason. Now I understand why there are comments like "dev bans people for no reason" and "moderation system is wack". These comments are all facts. I got banned for "antagonizing" a player. No racial, sexual comments and not even a swear word but for talking back to when he said "please stop harassing me!"(even tho I never harassed him). If you are an insanely serene dotard, play this game because it is a fantastic game and you won't get banned if you never type. However, if you are not a dotard and want to enjoy the game by interacting with players, don't buy this because you will get banned if you are unlucky. Moreover this isnt the real problem. The biggest problem is the discord server that has mods who are quite literally braindead. I clearly state my opinions on this corrupt ban system and after a few conversation, they kick me out and ip ban me permanently. They also delete everything I typed to hide it from the actual developers of this game from seeing it. So now I lost my $20 dollars that I spent on this game for (1) conversing with a player in game (2) sharing my opinions on how shitty this system is. And the most frustrating thing is that nobody will understand how shitty the discord server is because they legit delete any message that they think is annoying. It's like the novel 1984 where the authorities have the complete power to control what people say and type. Absolute joke banning system and discord server. **Update** I obviously got unbanned because as I mentioned, I typed nothing that deserved a penalty. Some idiot mod banned me for absolutely no reason. To get unbanned, I had to personally contact the server's community manager(because the degenerate mods banned me from the official discord server) and had to explain everything from beginning to end. After a few hours, he tells me that I am unbanned. However, I STILL cannot play the game because it STILL doesnt allow me to join the server. Now I'm STILL waiting for the manager to fix this. Great management. Really surprised to see how terrible the support system is compared to the actual game. The game itself deserves an award. But the support system is just a chaos where the mods abuse their authority by kicking people out for nonsense. To conclude, buy this game if you don't type or is willing to become dogs of the discord mods. Do not buy this game if you type and is not willing to suck the toes of the discord mods.
