  Significantly worse than HALF DEAD 2. What's better in HD3? Some of the game mechanics such as being able to escape dead rooms. (that's it) What's worse in HD3? Everything. Character customization is limited to 4 characters that are premade with premade outfits. (Unlike 2 where you could create your own character and then unlock clothes from boxes) Food rooms to restore health where one person can eat all the food. (Bandages in 2 were fine) Giant HUD with names covering the entire bottom of the screen. Game actually looks worse graphics wise In the end HD3 took 1 step forward and 5 steps back. I never played HD1 but I would put money on it that it's better than this steaming pile of trash.

  [h1][b]HALF ASSED 3[/b][/h1] A slight improvement over the previous title but did we really need another full game? Just make FULL DEAD and be done. This entire game could have just been a big update for HALF DEAD 2.

  I'm still not quite sure how I feel about this game. I watched Markiplier play it and it looked like so much fun, so I immediately got it. I love the Minesweeper element to the game and also the ability to be rescued from a trap room. Despite everyone's disappointment about the lack of character customization, I don't care what my character looks like, I just care about the gameplay. I think this was definitely a step up from the first two, but there are a couple problems. It does get repetitive pretty quickly, but as long as you have friends to play it with, it's always a good time. However, as a single player game, it is awful. A major problem is the input delay. It isn't too bad, but the movement feels a bit off. You really notice it on the menu screen. Overall, due to the slightly unfinished feel of the game as well as its repetitive nature, it is not worth $5. I think that if it was $2.50 I would feel much better about getting it. For example, Lunch Lady is a $5 game that feels like you definitely get your money's worth...but not so much with this game. But if you could care less about the price and you're looking for a fun game to play with a group of friends, I would recommend.

  1. Not enough gore elements compare to HD and HD2. We had fire and acid that can burn the characters to the bones. Now it's just their skin turn dark? I hope the devs come up with something other than this. 2. There is no "Play Again" button after entering spectating mode. You'd have to go back to the main menu to start again. It seems like a design failure to me. 3. There is no "try on" option for the character costumes. How can I be incentivized to get the costumes AKA your lootboxes if I can't see how they look on my characters?

  So, compared to the previous part, this one is frankly inferior to it. There are plenty of new traps, but it's not much use, in the sense that they obviously haven't become any more complicated. You can get the hang of it in half an hour and just run "on the shifter" all the rooms, except that the boot tossed on just in case, so as not to run into a closing death trap. However, even this gets around, the main thing to have two boots and knock out the "mini generators" on the doors, so that they open. True, the next such trap you will not survive with such an "emergency" and ill-considered method of solving problems. With such mechanics by the way you can knock out most of the traps, just throw a shoe at any generator and that's it... But there's no obvious need for that, it's always better to save your shoes for a premature opening of a death trap. And in fact, there's no problem at all with the game. And almost all of the achievements will open in less than 4 hours... The game is certainly in early access, but the already mentioned second part is superior to this not quite appropriate sequel. But here there are four characters instead of two. As in Half Dead 2 there are saleable items on Steam, so I paid for myself a half of the cost of a lucky chest, for the game is still fresh and the prices of items from it are high. There seems to be nothing more to add. Its standard price it will basically pay off for those who are not familiar with, I repeat, the second part, but so... At this point the verdict is more of a no than a yes. The "battle royale" mode is gone for good, although it was quite well implemented, however, hardly ever a lot of people played the game in this series.

  ~ DIFFICULTY ~ 🔲 My 90 year old grandma could play it. 🔲 Easy. ✅ Normal. 🔲 Hard. 🔲 Rage Quit. ~ GRAPHICS ~ 🔲 Actually MS Paint. ✅ Not great. 🔲 Moderate. 🔲 Beautiful. 🔲 * Chef Kiss * ~ MUSIC ~ ✅ Muted it. 🔲 I kept the music to a minimal volume. 🔲 Pretty good. 🔲 Atmospheric. ~ AUDIENCE ~ 🔲 Kids. ✅ Teens. ✅ Adults. ✅ Play with friends. ✅ Play with your partner. ~ STORYLINE ~ ✅ There wasn’t really one. 🔲 Hated it. 🔲 Okay, but didn’t pay much attention. 🔲 Moderate. 🔲 So engaging! ~ FUN ~ 🔲 I won’t be playing it again. 🔲 Annoyingly grindy. ✅ Only fun with friends. 🔲 Super fun solo. 🔲 Grindy but fun. 🔲 Could play this for hours. ~ BUGS ~ ✅ None that I’ve found. 🔲 Minor bugs but nothing major or game-breaking. 🔲 Can get annoying. 🔲 Get the weed killer, FULL of bugs. ~ PRICE / WORTH BUYING ~ ✅ Wait for a sale. 🔲 Worth the price. 🔲 Not worth the price. 🔲 Complete waste of money.

  Don't buy this unless you really understand what you're getting yourself into. It's half baked, early access, full of loot-boxes, and absurd. I can't in good conscience give this game a good review. With friends, the game currently maybe has an hour of funny stuff before it gets stale. I had fun with it with a friend for a little bit laughing at the absurdity and also how bad it was. I almost can not believe that this game inexplicably has loot boxes despite being what it is. If it had many more rooms and mechanics and had no loot boxes, I would have recommended it
